I have been using the Impulse range of Body sprays for years since I was a teenager. Although they were pricy when you weren't getting much money, it was more a status thing I think when you were younger, and of course you used to lager yourself with the spray, probably choke whoever you wanted to impress and a tin didn't last that long.
The Anti Perspirant range hasn't been out too long, but then again I would say at least 5 years anyway. I don't think it is as popular as the Body Sprays, and also I can't find it in many supermarkets thesedays either. I found some in Poundland the other day priced at - you guessed it £1, and bought a tin for old times sake. From what I remembered I wasn't that keen on it as I didn't think it kept me dry all that good, but I could have been mistaken and for the sake of £1 I thought it was worth another try.
This is in a 150ml tin. Same sort of design as the slimmer Impulse Body Spray tins, with the white background and the little bits of colour dotted around.
I think you got a couple of scents of this, but the only 1 that Poundland had was the Fresh one.
This sprayed on in quite a powerful jet but it didn't seem cloudy or powdery. It dried quick enough, but not quite as quick as other finer sprays that I use. I wonder if I never let it to dry before in the past and that's why I didn't find it kept me that fresh and dry. I made sure it was dry before putting my clothes on.
The scent was nice enough, a nice sunny fresh scent with a splash of floral in it. It didn't keep me dry the whole day so I seem to have been right from before.
Just a shame this isn't better as with the Impulse branding then I probably would have been buying this range.
