“ Brand: Impulse / Type: Wipes / Suitable for: Body „
Impulse Body Wipes are the ideal thing to have with you for a quick deodorise/ freshen up especially in summer or if you are quite active.
They are great to buy to have a few handy in your handbag or car and as each sachet comes in a sealed foil packet they will stay fresh and moist for quite a while- so you can buy a box and put them in a cupboard them if you have to go away to a festival or somewhere you can go back to them.
They normally sell for a box of 12 for around £1.99 which is quite expensive but considering they are a sort of emergency deodorant wipe you can buy them and use them only when you need to - so a box could last you for a year or six months.
I wouldn't recommend them for everyday use instead of a normal deodorant as they will then be very expensive. These are the ideal product for occasional use. The perfume in them is quite strong too.
Looking at the advertisements on the television lately they seem to come up with more and more new deodorants and body sprays every week. Well I love my deodorants and smellies I like to know there is something there I can grab and use straight off, and now there is something even better. Something that not only fits nicely on my bathroom shelf, but something that is discreet and I can pop into my pocket if I wanted to and would be able to stay fresh anywhere or at any time of the day. I am definitely the kind of person that likes to keep my body smelling fresh and clean, and whenever possible keep my eye open for new products on the market that I can try. A few weeks ago my daughter stumbled upon something that I thought you could only get in spray form, but little did I know. I was delighted at the whole idea and thought I would tell you a little about them so you may want to try them yourselves if you haven?t already. They are Impulse refreshing fragranced body wipes, yes I was shocked too, a body spray that comes in a wipe, no I thought that cannot be right, how would they keep fresh for a start, and would it be worth the money? Well I asked my daughter to get me some of these little wipes so I could see it for myself, and I was pleasantly surprised. They come in a box very similar to a small perfume box and when you look inside it contains 12 sachets with little body wipes inside, I was quite impressed actually. The actual wipes have the scent of the body spray Air, and they are in a kind of foil sachet that has the usual Impulse and Air logo on as would the bottle of body spray, with the blue stripe fading as it runs around the packet. When you open the packet you can instantly smell the freshness, its not in any way over powering just soft and the cloth keeps the smell for ages not just a wipe and dry kind of thing, but its like you have sprayed yourself with the body spray, and everybody notice
s and comments on how nice it smells. I have not seen or been told that you can get these in any other fragrances, but I am on the look out as these are going to be one of the permanents in my house, I just think it is one of the best ideas for a quick freshen up I have seen so far. This particular box was purchased in a Wilkinson store for £1.59pence, I have seen them on sale at other places like Boots and others chemists and shops and the price is somewhere between £1.99 or £2.05pence. I really think this is a bargain for something that is so handy to have around and you can pop a couple in your handbag or glove compartment of the car if you need to go out and know you will need to freshen up. There is a notice on the box telling you how to discard of these wipes, they don?t advise you flushing them down the toilet but prefer you to place them in the bin. It also advises that you do not use on broke or sore skin, which would be obvious. They are made by Lever Faberge. I think this is a really worth while product and recommend it to everyone. Thanks for reading, Pat.
Well here I go again, I'm writing about yet more wipes. Iam splashing my money about lately on all these expensive wipes. I think I have wrote about four lots of wipes now, has anybody noticed the world is going wipe mad? I bought these a couple of weeks ago from Superdrug, they were advertising them for £1.32. There were two kinds but I chose the Impulse Air wipes. they come in a little compact box and contain 12 sachets. I though they would be handy for my holidays in October. The thing is I have bought loads of wipes for this holiday. These include dove wipes, Ambre solaire wipes and now these. they don't take up too much room and are very lightweight. Once I got into the sachet, sometimes I struggle opening these things you know, I could smell the fragrance straightaway. They smell quite strong, but nice. the fragrance is very summery and not a heavy smell. The wipes themselves are only small, they look like an oversized teabag without the tea of course. They have perforations all over them, they didn't feel as good a quality as the Dove Wipes. Anyway I used one today as I was going to the doctors, I didn't want to smell sweaty after walking down from my house in the hot sun. LOL. As I opened the sachet the wipe stung my fingers, I looked down and had a small cut on my finger. OOOOh that hurt. Instead of throwing the wipe away you could always use it for a drawer liner to make your clothes smell nice. I wouldn't use it if it was dirty or smelly though, you could always use a clean one for your lingerie drawer. I don't know if it was the fragrance or not but I can't make my mind up if I liked them or not. As the day went on I could still smell the fragrance of them which is a good thing, but I go off smells quickly . I know I like the Dove wipes, they feel a lot better and smell better. I will be taking them on holiday though,
they will come in handy if only I use them for my feet. On the packet it says not to use on broken skin or intimate parts of the body. I found I had broken skin by accident on my fingers, yikes it made me jump.
Sometimes I really hate the weather in the UK, particularly when it's so hot and muggy that you feel that someone has wrapped you in plastic and you are now gently turning on the flat plate of a microwave. I also (because I'm contrary) am not really that fond of the air conditioning system at work which either makes you blood boil with extreme heat, or allows the temperature to drop so low that everyone brings in extra layers of clothing and my finger tips turn blue. For all these temperature extremes there is one solution! Impulse Bodywipes!! (hoorah) I have to admit it took a bit coaxing for me to consider laying out the money for these marvelous little things. For one, if you're hot, why not simply spray yourself with deoderant? Well... it can be cumbersome and in these days of pockets and limited bag space who wants to be carrying around a big old can. The wipes come individually wrapped, so you can stealthily creep off to the toilets and apply. The tissue itself is just basically like the airplane refreshing handwipes, but with a really nice scent to them. I bought Impulse 'Air' because I liked the actually antiperspirant spray, the scent in the wipes is so nice that I'm thinking of investing in the body spray although I normally would stay away from Impulse sprays on their own as I find them a bit, well... intense and sometimes really cheap smelling. But Air was so refreshing that I kept wondering what the nice smell was and then realising oh! it was actually me. Essentially then these are handy because they're small, have a lovely smell and will keep your fresh and dry throughout the day without having to lug about a can. Other olrder brands also do them though in more mature scents that are cheaper. Yardleys and ... the famous German brand of cologne with the number in its name (which has completely escaped me for the minute)do them so do check out the counters of your local Boots to check. Perhaps
your favourite scent already has a Body wipe!
