When a body spray promises to make you smell like New York you don't get the greatest opinion of this in the beginning I don't think, who wants to smell like smog, traffic, hot dogs, etc but don't worry the New York Impulse Body Spray is nothing like that. This body spray is part of the CIty collection and I think they also have a London fragrance. I actually got a bottle of this free when I bought some hair removing cream, an interesting combination but I was thankful for the free product and happy to try it.

I do like the Impulse body sprays as they are handy to use if you want a bit of fragrance but don't want to smell like perfume and get dressed up in anyway but I still want to smell quite nice and fresh. I use it if I am going to the gym or out for the morning to just run a few errands. Impulse Body Spray always takes me back to my teenage years. I think back this there were quite popular, this was a few years ago now and all my friends seemed to be wearing one or other of the different scents. Plus, I think it was probably the only form of "perfume" we could afford and we all wanted to smell nice to be able to pull the boys at the disco on a saturday night.

Even though I got it free I know it's quite a cheap product to buy in the first place so if you like these sprays it's always a good idea to stock up on a few of them. In Boots they sell them for about £1.20 a 75ml can which is quite a good deal. They do not last very long, especially if you spray them over your whole body, I think this can lasted me for about 2 weeks but that's really ok as you can just go and buy another one for that price.

By using this body spray Impulse tell you to, "Grab yourself a taste of the Big Apple! Fabulous Fifth Avenue shopping and cocktails with the girls at sundown." The design of the can is in keeping with this advertising as it features a Broadway rod sign, an I heart NY badge and other items such as that on it. The can then is just like all the others. It has a spray function at the top of the can and you can twist the top of the can so the hole is covered over when you are not using it.

I really like the smell of this Impulse body spray. The scent is a mixture of apple, red fruit and jasmine so it is light and fruity and a really pleasant and not too overpowering or sweet in any way. It is such a nice day time fragrance and you can really wear it all day long. I find if I spray it on in the morning I can smell it later in the day so it does last well. It does have a bit of a aerosol smell to it meaning that you can tell its come from a can but its still nice for a basic fragrance.

All in all a nice version of Impulse.
