I am a huge fan of Impulse body sprays and buy them quite a lot. They are cheap enough to buy and are good value for money sprays. The brand is one which is often on special offer and I bought this one on offer when I spotted it in Boots. I love the colour pink and so the name of the spray encouraged me to purchase it. It comes in a slim line can which has the name clearly on the front and so can be easily spotted on a shelf. It has a plastic twist on and off cover which covers the hole of the spray nozzle. It is very easy to twist on and off. I find this twister is ideal so that I can carry the can in my hand bag and know the spray is safe in my bag and it won't accidentally spray inside my bag. It is very easy to press down the nozzle to release the spray onto the body. It sprays a nice fine mist onto my body and it dries almost instantly. It doesn't feel wet on my skin and is just a very fine light mist. Lands very softly onto my skin. It has a nice smell to it and smells very fruity. Has a grapefruit scent and a hint of vanilla. I can mainly detect the grapefruit aroma. It is a nice pleasant scent and quite a sweet one. I really like the smell of this body spray. The scent lasts for quite a while on the skin, I can still smell it a good hour and a half after spraying it onto my body. I think it has a good staying power fragrance on the skin and I think the time is an adequate length from this range. You don't need to spray a lot of it to smell it because a little goes a long way and spraying too much isn't really necessary. I just give my body a quick spray and that is well enough to give my body a nice smell. I like to use this spray as a day time spray and a refresher spray for when I am staying indoors for the day or just popping out to the shops. Or for when I am just going to see a friend or popping into town to do some shopping. I can easily top up during the day because the can is light enough to pop into my hand bag. I think it is a nice spray to carry in a gym bag and a nice one to spray onto the body after a work out if you don't have time to have a shower at the gym etc. I think it is also an ideal spray for teenagers to take to school or college and carry in their bag. Is a cheap enough spray which wouldn't break the bank for buying for teenagers school days. Is a good way of them beginning their life outdoors spraying their bodies with a nice smelling body spray. Teenagers like to smell nice too, well most of them do. I use this spray all over my body, my arms, chest, stomach and legs. Because it dries almost instantly it means I can give my body a quick spray and get dressed soon after if I want to. I generally use this spray before I go out and mostly use it on my upper body and I like to use it a lot when I am outdoors for the day. I have sensitive skin and found this spray hasn't caused any irritations or rashes on my skin. For a 75ml can I paid £1 and I think this is a super price for this amount of spray. I bought it on special offer and saved a little money on the original price. It is very good value for money and the quality of the spray is excellent in my opinion. It is so affordable for any budget. I highly recommend this body spray and if you like a sweet, fruity fragrance I think you would most definitely love this one. I will buy it again in the future. I give this body spray 5 stars. Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.
When it comes to bodysprays they are are something I buy very often indeed. I usually buy So...? body fragrances as I love the scents of those and usually find them on offer all over the place however I recently needed to get a couple more and in Tesco So...? were not on offer and various Impulse ones were at a pound a 75ml can so after giving this a quick sniff in the store I bought it as I felt it was rather nice and smelt a bit different really from anything else recently I have been using. The packaging of this is simply a tall cylinder can with which is black in colour with a heart on the front of it and we are told what it is and who is is by and then on the back of the can other information listed includes directions for using it being given, cautions, ingredients and the size is stated and contact details for the manufacturer are given. It has a slight indentation to the middle area of the can for ease of handling it and the top of it is push button and with a twist area you can shut off the nozzle from should you want to which is a nice safety feature I think. The Spray Itself: Well its easy to use and aerosol style and I simply apply it to clean and dry skin. It sprays out damp though not soaking wet or owt like that and it doesn't leave any residue on the skin at all, greasy or otherwise and it dries fast allowing me to dress very quickly after spraying myself with it. The scent of this is musky with top notes of sparkling pink grapefruit and a hint of vanilla. Its grounded by the musk fragrance but becomes lighter with the zesty and sweet overtone of the grapefruit. I can't really smell the vanilla, more of a sweetness of a rose scent but whatever....this is a really nice blended womanly scent this one and once I have used it it lingers on my skin all day long and I can (and do!) top up and freshen up with this as often through a day as I want to. I don't think the name is apt for this one really as the name sounds more girly than womanly however its a nice looking and quality can this one, simple to use and full of a rather unusual fragrance! Thumbs up for this one and its widely available from Supermarkets and chemists alike at (if not on offer) about £2.29 a can with other varieties also available within the range of course.
I tried this scent when I spotted it in the shops not far from a year ago. I think that is when it must have came out as I am always buying Impulse Body Sprays as it is my favourite brand. I do tend to buy them when they are on offer so I always keep an eye out at my Local Asda as they are good for selling them at £1 quite often. The normal price for the 75ml tin is nearer £2 as normal. This tin stood out on the shelf as the black colouring is different to the light pastel colours of the other tins. I didn't even look to see what scent this was or even have a cheeky little squirt. I figured if I didn't like it then £1 wasn't a huge amount to lose and although I do have my favourites in the range I have never hated a scent so much that I would not use it up. After reading up on my recent tin that I bought of this it states that the scent of this is Pink Grapefruit and vanilla. So I guess the Very Pink name is for the Pink grapefruit. I do like citrus scented products but I don't really go for scents that are really Zesty or tart smelling so I wondered if this would be too sour smelling. Since I have bought this scent off and on since I first bought it then it is fair to say that I probably think this is a nice enough scent. This does smell quite strong when you first spray this and not a lot is needed to give a good scent of this. The strong scent does die down after about 5 minutes and I think the scent that is left behind is a nice sparkling and slightly Fruity scent. You can definitely smell the Grapefruit and it isn't quite as sour as I would have expected. I cannot say that I can pick the vanilla notes out of this but there is definitely another scent that is mixed with the Grapefruit which is a little sweet and has a slight Musky tone so I will assume that this is the Vanilla. It is only the slightest of Hint of this scent though. This doesn't score in my top 5 of Impulse scents and since the scent Very Very pink has came out then I do tend to chose that 1 over this one but this is a nice different scent to what I would normally go for and I do reach for a tin of this on the odd occassion.
I brought this body spray a while back, when it came with a free Barry M lip gloss. I actually brought it more for the lip gloss but was pleasantly surprised. The main scent is pink grapefruit with hints of vanilla. The can is slim and ideal to keep in your handbag. The lid also has a sliding close feature, which I find more useful as the cap does't fall off and you can't accidently spray it everywhere!! It looks quite stylish and the scent is suitable for all age groups. The current price for this spray is £1.99 but I recently brought a few Impulse sprays for £1.00 from Asda when they had an offer on. When spraying, it is best to keep the can a fair distance away or you will end up with a slightly wet patch but I found that this spray didn't stain any of my clothes and was suitable for my skin. I found that the scent lasted for about half of the day and I need a quick spritz at lunch time, but you don't need much as it is a fairly strong scent. The can lasted a while but I would probably only buy this scent when it was on offer for £1.00 or even better with a free Barry M lip gloss!
Impulse is a range of body sprays from Unilever. @Very Pink@ Very Pink is a fairly new addition to the Impulse range. Very Pink is a fragranced body spray which can be sprayed all over the body and is dermatoloigically tested. It carries a fruity aroma with the main scent being pink grapefruit blended with hints of vanilla. Very Pink is presented in a slim spray can (can be recycled). The can is black with pink writing and features an intergrated spray top concealed by a sliding cap. It is recommended that you hold the can 15cm from the body before spraying. @Availability and Price@ Very Pink is currently priced at £1.99 in Asda. @My Thoughts@ I bought a few Impulse sprays a few weeks ago when Tesco had them reduced to £1.00. This was one of the cans I bought and it also had a 50p off my next purchase sticker to use the next time I buy. I do love my Soap and Glory mists but an Impulse spray is more convenient to carry around in my bag and I feel confident spraying it on my skin or clothing. The can is very stylish and easy to use. The spray top works effectively and once pushed down, releases a fine, cloud of mist onto my skin. If I spray too close to my skin, the spray often leaves a damp and slightly sticky trace so 15cm is definently required. It doesn't stain my clothing or any fabrics and settles clear on my skin and has never irritated my sensitive skin. @Very Pink and Very Beautiful@ Very Pink is quite a strong scented spray and only a small amount is needed to provide ample freshness and scent to my body. I like to spray this to simply top up any other scent I am wearing. Some of the Impulse scents are aimed at younger girls (teenagers) but this one would suit an older woman as well. I am 23 and find this to be a lovely scent for my skin. I would say Very Pink comes across as quite musky at first and a little heavy on my skin. It soon settles much like a perfume would and is a very pleasant scent indeed. It has a prominent, sweet and fruity aroma which has a bitter edge and I can only assume this is the pink grapefruit. It is nicely refreshing and modern. The vanilla undertones can only be detected when up close (either my sniffing my own skin or by being near my fiance or anyone else). The vanilla adds a sweet, creamy warmth and the overall scent is very natural in my opinion. @Conclusion@ Due to how strong this spray is on my skin, it does last quite a bit longer than other Impulse scents. it does lose its freshness after an hour or so and changes to a slightly deeper scent which I like and i do feel this increases how long the scent lingers on my skin. My can of Very Pink has therefore lasted longer than the other scents available as I do not feel the need to constantly spray it around all the time. I wouldn't pay anymore than the offer price of £1.00 for Impulse but can recommend this particular scent. Impulse make great stocking fillers too. Thanks for reading x
