Intro I'm partial to a nice smelling deodorant, and from all the hype and TV advertising I have eventually gotten round to trying Lynx. Kills smells......................check Smells nice check...............check Babe magnet.........................hold on I'm already a babe magnet, have I really been sucked in by the advertising. No actually once again I only tried this because it was on special offer. Lynx Nice name I like it, it gives off some good vibes man. This little or rather two little 5ml bottle/aerosol's were on offer for 99p so I thought what the heck. The three-inch high twist shut spray bottle in nifty, it fits in the pocket with no problems of unforeseen bulging, I guess this is where the big time becomes a babe magnet, put that in your pocket and the attraction cannot fail. As with the main Lynx range the bullet comes in various fragrances and the one I got was the dark temptation. It's just a wee bitty sweet for me, but the overall niff is seductive as per TV advert, produces a long lasting deodorant, and indeed satisfies on most counts when it comes to riding oneself of nasty daily work odours. However at 48.5p per 5ml it isn't exactly great value for money for after a few scoots under the arm the small attractive bottle is empty and I fancy that the larger size might well be better value. For a quick niff fix though these are both handy and effective, and in all honesty a pretty good idea for those who have other more treasured items in their pockets. They are unobtrusive and do a super job. The dark temptation isn't quite for me but since it's for emergency use it's OK I will try out one of the other fragrances since I do think it a good idea to have a small emergency niff kit handy. If the other bullets compare to the larger Lynx smells then I might only be trying one more bullet, since I do find in the majority that their niffs tend to be a bit sweet and sometimes overpowering, this said they are very good at keeping your own bad niffs at bay. Summary For 48p you can't really go wrong, they work and do a good job, they even look quite cool and nifty, and their longevity is without question one of the best of all the deodorants I have tried. So I will try another pong, but as for it being a babe magnet I'll stick to the good old Donf18 charm thanks very much.
It took me a while to buy this because I didn't see the point in spending £2 for 2 miniscule deodorants. Especially when you have the option of buying a full can for the same price! None the less I gave in and bought it anyway. It smells the same as the regular sized cans and this is both a good and a bad thing. It's a positive point because it allows you to layer your scent and not have your smell clash but like I've already mentioned why on earth should you pay the same price for a smaller quantity of the same item? Convenience is the reason why. It fits very well in your pocket and so it can be kept with you at all times more subtly than the regular sized can. This is helpful if you are out with friends and realise you could use a quick freshen up. So despite the gross price of the product it can be quite handy in uncomfortable situations.
As well as using my normal deodorant I often use a Lynx deodorant body spray for a quick refresh before going out or going to work so when I seen these mini versions on offer I thought they would be handy to keep in my pocket to freshen up when I am out and about. The Packaging & Can ***************** The outer multi packaging is a black Lynx design card with a blister pack containing 4 X 5ml Lynx bullet miniature cans, each can carries the same Lynx logo and design as a standard can, as I had purchased the Dark Temptation version there was a brown pattern on the can, the top works a little different from the big cans as you have to turn it a quarter turn to open/close it. My Opinion ********* The Packaging is easy enough to get into and the mini Lynx cans which are about the size of a AAA battery are the perfect size to slip into your pocket when your off on a night out, the twist and spray system works well and as this is the best brand "male smelly" you know it's going to be good stuff and it is, the only problem is you only get 5ml per can! A quick spray and its all gone just like that! In my opinion there is not even enough in one can for a good spray so it's not very economical. So the bottom line is, 10 out of 10 for a fantastic idea and 10 out of 10 for a real nice smelly but far to little spray in each can and far to expensive at around 80p a spray/can, I will not be buying these again. I have always been a man that takes pride in his appearance and even these days at the grand old age of (well old) I still like to look my best and also smell my best. I have always been a user of decent body sprays and aftershaves and I still have a fair collection of both. Lynx is the body spray I tend to use most and I use all versions of it as I like them all, my wife saw the advert on the TV for the Lynx bullet sprays, these are essentially a much smaller version of the large spray that are designed to fit inside a gentleman's pocket so he can re-apply throughout the day. The Lynx advert shows a man spotting a very attractive young lady and reaching for his bullet spray which Lynx call pocket pulling power and giving himself a blast of the spray which turns the young girls head and hey presto jobs done, quite what I am going to pull at my age other than perhaps a muscle, i am not sure but hey you never know your luck LOL. I have used this spray of course and it does smell and work like any other Lynx but I have to say that I have not and will not be bothering to carry it about with me and spray it on in shops and the likes, I will just use it and make sure my wife doesn't bother with it again. It is essentially a rip off, two tins containing tiny amounts of Lynx for £1.80, you can get a tin of Lynx for just more than that and it has about ten times as much in it and in Asda you regularly get Lynx large tins cheaper than that when they are on offer so it really is a waste of money in my opinion and if you do want to pull the ladies, then a good long lasting aftershave will do the job or even just stunning good looks like mine!!
The lynx bullets sprays are a fairly new idea from lynx, I think they only came out last year actually and as soon as I saw them I wanted to give them a try, however with them being a bit expensive I hadn't really bought them before, only deciding to by them after going to get supplies to go on holiday with. These only come in three different scents, these being Dark temptation, Vice and Instinct. My favourite is dark temptation so when I saw a pack of three on sale for just £1.50 I decided to get a couple of packs to take away with me. The actual bottle themselves are pretty small and compact, you only get 5ml of spray in a bottle, so only enough for about five or six good sprays, so they don't last long really, however they are easy to carry around in your pocket, and when I was on holiday in a hot country they were a god send when out and about and sweating with the feeling that you might be getting a bit smelly. These are expensive though, usually about a pound per bullet, and they are really small so unless you need something to carry in your pocket, theres really no point in getting them. I still have some left from my holiday which I didn't use, and I will probably save them for something similar, so they are handy at times, but unless I can get them for cheaper again, I probably wont purchase these in a rush.
'Lynx, for the cheap smell of teenage desperation'? This line I heard for a comedy sketch and thought it very appropriate. Because as a whole after being a youngster and only EVER using it and every PE times having the stench of one of the smells of lynx chocking you to death you truly know the irresistible smell the adverts portrayed it as having was extremely incorrect. I have never found the smells nice and as a result went off them quickly. I did how ever get attracted to the Africa Lynx but that was it. All until I was given this little smell. It is the chocolate smelling one and I truly find it extremely desirable. I really like it and use it every day! The smell is a body spray which is sweet yet at the same time distinctively for males. It has a smell that makes your mouth kind of water. The best thing though about this smell is that it goes so well with your aftershave also. I have found that the combination of Joop Jump and this chocolaty smell is incredibly and that's not something I would normally say about anything! The fact that it comes in such a small canister helps to carry it around and is useful for the on the way journey out or back to someone's house and keeps you constantly smelling good.
Slightly disappointed in this product really. My boyfriend brought some lynx bullets before we went on holiday as he had forgotten to bring his full sized lynx spray. Typical! I think lynx smells great I do not really have a favourite one all I know is I wake up every morning drowning in the smell of the stuff as my boyfriend sprays away! The lynx bullets come in 3 different varieties Dark temptation, Vice and the other one being Instinct so you do not have a lot of choice and although you can buy them in packs of 3 or 4 you can only buy packs in the same scent which is a bit disappointing really. The bullets are tiny they only contain 5mls, which is slightly unhelpful. For something you carry around with you it does not last long even women's pocket sprays are larger and cheaper. The bullet itself is a small black spray bottle which is quiet cute and tiny but really is not worth the money you pay for it!!! One spray and it is gone so you are basically paying around £1 for one spray which is not very useful at all! When my boyfriend brought the bullets he brought a pack of 4 in dark temptation, we went on holiday for 10 days and all four bottles had been used by the 5th day! Not very good really aye!! All that money and poor results to be fair. One bottle of 5ml spray will cost you between £1-£1.10 and for a pack of 4 they will cost you between £3-£4 depending where you shop too, so by no means are they cheap, you get better value for money by buying a full can!! And you still get change! When buying one of these seriously consider what you are using it for and how often you really plan on using it because you could be really disappointed like me and my boyfriend! We will not be buying these again, they are very disappointing!
Lynx Bullet body spray is, in my opinion, a good idea! It's about the coolest thing I've ever held in my pocket and I love the design. They're around a pound each (or £2.93 for a pack of 4 from Boots) so you might think that at that cost they're not worth the money, huh? You're right, in a sense. 75p for 55ml of lynx deodorant is, to put it lightly, rubbish. But to be honest with you, you're not exactly going to start buying it instead of the bigger cans, are you? I have only ever bought one and I have to say - it lasts surprisingly long if you use it just to top yourself off every now and then. The smell is exactly the same as the larger cans, too. Overall I'd say if you're going on a special night out and need to keep yourself smelling great - in style - without a massive weight in your pocket then the Lynx bullet is for you. The price is rather high for such a small amount of deodorant however so it's probably best to only buy and use them for special outings. The 4 stars is because the design & smell is exquisite, only let down by the price.
Lynx Bullet Body Spray is an average body spray it runs out very quickly and doesn't produce the best of smells. I found it a COMPLETE waste of money because it is very small. Yes you can fit in your pocket but you will end up buying about 3 for every night out! I think personally it is a waste of money. The build is very poor and the top breaks easily stopping it from working so you have to be very careful. The design is the best thing about the spray it looks nice and appealing and is small so it can fit in your pocket. The upside to this Lynx product is that it can fit in any pocket but however do be careful because you can lose them easily and they are not easy to find. But still I find this no use as you should put deodorant on before you go out and if you take a bag take a proper deodorant in that. Lynx have failed to produce, which is quite rare. Overall I found this useless and a waste of money.
Lynx Bullets are mini deodorant sprays that are ideal for fitting in your pocket. These mini sprays allow men to stay smelling sweat free whilst out and about at work or the gym, without the need to carry a large can of Lynx. Lynx Bullets are conveninently shaped like little bullets so they fit in your pocket. They work by twisting the top of the spray and spraying onto your underarms as normal. Lynx Bullets are available from Boots, Superdrug, other chemists and independant retailers. Each bullet contains 5mls and are available in packs of 4 which cost £2.93 from Boots or packs of 2 available ar £1.85 from Boots. Boots currently offer 3 types including dark temptation, instinct and twist. Can i recommend? I purchased these for my fiance last year as Boots had them reduced to under £1 as Lynx were changing the packaging on the packets of bullets. I liked the design but my fiance wasnt too fussed about them to be honest. He doesnt sweat alot and said that they would probably forget they were in his pocket until they came out the washing machine. He did give them a try though and they do not last long. You get about 4 or 5 sprays out of each one and compared to the fullsize deodorant the price is not good value.
I got one of these in part of a Christmas present. I think they are quite a good idea, but quite expensive for what they are. These are little Sprays that you can put in your pocket and carry around for a quick freshen up when you are out. The Bullet I got was the Vice smell, which I like anyway. I have since seen these in the Supermarket and the tiny little thing was selling for £1.20 for 1. I see on this page you can buy them in 2 and 4 packs, but i've not seen those. I guess that would work out more economical through. This is a thin, slimline spray. My wife likens this to a Vicks Inhaler sized product, and it sort of is, but not so much shaped like 1. The smell from this is the same as the larger bottle, and I only got 4 decent sprays from this, which isn't that economical. This is just more one of those gimmicky things. After all men don't tend to carry a bag when they are out (well I guess it depends on the circumstance), but I guess this is designed more if you are out for a night out just to have in your pocket. It's a good idea due to it being small, and you get a nice freshen up, but obviously I wouldn't use this in the house, as there is no point. I would jsut stick to an average sized one.
I am a man that likes smelling good. I have a range of aftershave etc. I saw these new lynx bullet spray things and figured I would give them a try. It seems like a great idea, a compact deodorant that can be carried with you, but it just seems like a big waste of money. I have never wasted so much money. These things cost about £3 per pack of 4. Your get hardly any lynx product in the spray. Whilst it does smell very nice its not worth the money. You can buy virtually 2 normal lynx sprays for the same price. I would recommend getting a decent quality aftershave that lasts a long time. This product could be useful to those of you that suffer from body odour as it is a handy size to carry on your person, especially if you often go clubbing or on the underground, also in the summer months, aeroplanes etc. But unless you really suffer badly I would not waste your money. The advert tries to say that if you wear this deodorant you will get the woman of your dream...don't waste your money! On top of all this, it is a massive waste of packaging!!
I can't believe people actually buy into this nonsense. Lynx Bullet Body Spray is a ridiculous fashion accessory. The pressurised can contains about 55ml of deodorant, and the spray cap is actually larger than the container itself. They cost about a quid each and are a total waste of money. They smell exactly like original lynx, apart from the fact that they have a strong after-whiff of rip off about them. I suppose these would be a decent accessory if you have a problem with body odour or if you're visiting a hot country where you're hoping to meet some attractive, and are allergic to standard anti perspirant. Also another incredibly tenuous plus-point is that the cans are shaped just a little bit like 'Mace' or CS spray which may deter potential muggers. You're much better off saving your dosh and buying larger cans of Lynx. All Lynx deodorants have an acceptably pleasant and passable fragrance, (despite some of the later ranges like Fever smelling a little bit sweet,) and when bought in bulk, can prove to be good value for money. Nonetheless this stupid cash-in trendy product should definitely be avoided at all costs. Its a total rip and being seen applying it in public makes you look like a tool, despite what the adverts might try to make you think. Not recommended in the slightest.
After seeing the advert for the Lynx bullet sprays, I decided to pick one up at my local supermarket, as they do seem like a cool little gadget to have at first, as the concept is you can carry around a small can of deodorant easily in your pocket or some kind of bag and just quickly spray when needed. I have seen them sold in three different varieties - Dark Temptation, Instinct and Vice. I tried the Dark Temptation one and I paid about £3 for 4 of these bullets, each containing 5ml in each one, so they ran out very quickly. The adverts for Lynx bullet suggests that the Lynx bullets are quite useful, but in my opinion they really are a waste of money. When you pay £3 for just 20ml of spray altogether, that works out at £15 for 100ml, even less than a normal can of Lynx spray, which is slightly cheaper and you get 150ml of spray. The only time I really need to spray some deodorant is after doing something sporty and need to put some on, so I can easily carry around this in a bag instead. As for just needing them for random moments, if you really are that worried about it then get some larger sized pocketed trousers and carry around a full size can and save wasting loads of money on something that will only last a few days if used frequently. I only purchased these once, but after that I haven't bought them again just because they are stupidly expensive and there isn't all that much use for them to be honest, when I did use mine they were empty so soon after I had first bought them. Save your money and buy the larger cans instead.
These "bullet" body sprays really pack quite a punch. Just watch that you dont spray it if you are anywhere near anyone, say 10m because these things are very pungent. They are a very good idea, something to carry around for those "just in case" moments. The great thing is, they fit in your pocket, but this comes at a price. These things are only 5ml, so they wont last long. Even so, one spray ought to keep you fresh for an ample amount of time, although i would say get the full size Lynx of your choice as well because by the ml they are more expensive by a long way. The scent range for Lynx Bullet is small at the moment, although if this product proves successful, the people at Lynx may decide to expand it in the future. Overall this is a sensible product for people on the move who prefer not to carry a bag for their deodourant. However, it is pricey, so i would tend to use the full size versions.
