“ Brand: Lynx / Deodorants / Type: Body Spray / Subcategory: Deodorant / Suitable for: Body „
Over the years I have owned most of the Lynx deodorants that have been released, Lynx Click was originally released in 2006 and has since been the can has since been re-designed. The design now still looks similar to the previous design but like all other Lynx deodorants has a new twist and click spray button which works well compared to the previous model. So having used Lynx deodorants many times before I was interested to see what this new deodorant was like when it was released in 2006. I have owned it a few times since then and it's a fairly popular deodorant from the Lynx range. The particular deodorant is still in production.
So the all important features are now upon us and we kick off with the scent of the deodorant which of course is the main stand point for any fragrance. You want it to smell good. so how does this particular Lynx deodorant do in that department?. Well I have to say relatively well. The fragrance combines fruity and woody notes which include Cranberry, Woods, Rhubarb, Citrus. The inclusion of Cranberry and Rhubarb gives the deodorant a distinctive kick which results in a strong yet subtle fragrance. The deodorant has a scent which will appeal to the younger male and at 27 I am still within the appeal of the fragrance.
As well as the scent of the deodorant, an important thing to think about is the protection that the deodorant will give against excess sweat and odour. So how does this particular Deodorant score on these two important things?. Well I was impressed with it's sweat and odour protection and also it's long lasting scent which will keep you relatively fresh throughout the day. It's not quite the best Lynx deodorant In those areas but it still does a very good job of it so no real cause for complaint there. As it's a stronger scent you won't need to spray as much as you would for a lighter scent so that makes the deodorant can last longer.
This is another strong showing from a Lynx Deodorant, It's by no means the best they have released but it is a decent smelling deodorant which gives fair protection against sweat and odour and is fairly long lasting. As it's a Lynx deodorant you will be able to find it with some great deals in your local supermarkets or Boots store. I wouldn't rule out buying this particular deodorant again but as I have just about finished another can of it I might just wait for a while as I like trying something different when one particular deodorant has run out. So all in all I'd recommend this deodorant to anyone who likes Lynx deodorants. If you haven't smelt it then give it a try. You might like it.
Lynx Click comes in your standard twist and press black can, this time sporting a sharp deep blue and silver logo, like abstract arrows. It looks like the kind of thing a guy would pick up before going out for a night on the town. Its smell its rather powdery and a bit soapy like standard shower gel, yet quite strong, so if you spray too much you'll probably end up coughing quite a bit as it can really get up your nose. Its probably the closest Lynx fragrance that ressembles a real eau de toilette or expensive aftershave. However it is also rather unmemorable. You couldn't really recall the smell and it doesn't really have a much of a describable smell. Advantages though are that its strong enough to stay for a while with minimal application and lasts a bit longer than other Lynx products. So you're getting your moneys worth in quantity.
You can still find this deodorant in pretty much every super market and is available online in shower gels, antiperspirants and aftershave. This one, like all the others in the range, can cost anywhere between 2 and 4 pounds, cheaper in big brand stores but more so online. Overal, the odour is a bit uninspiring, but a clean smell.
Lynx (or Axe) Click is probably one of their more popular deodorant sprays, though I fail to really see why. Maybe it's just because I am not the biggest fan of Lynx themselves, maybe I just think it's really overrated, either way it's just not my favorite thing to put on as a smell. I'll explain a couple of the reasons I don't really care for it below-
It really smells just like every other Lynx product on the market. And to be honest, it really isn't that great of a smell. Oddly though, I purchased the "stick" form of this deodorant and thought it smelled just fine, maybe I just find this too strong. All I can really tell you is that if I were a girl, I wouldn't find this smell attractive. The other problem with it is that it is so strong, even a little bit smells like you used half the can, not a good thing in my opinion.
You see way too many guys using this like crazy, and if you smell anything too long you'll start to dislike it. Look, fellow men, the terms bodyspray and cologne do NOT mean the same thing. Girls like the smell of most colognes. Most girls do not like the smell of what you use to cover up the fact that you're sweating. Just a little "flirting 101 secret" there.
Don't spray it on your armpits after you've just played football, it feels like they're on fire.
There are some good qualities to this product as well though. For one, it is very cheap compared to similar stuff you'll see (though if the product itself is bad this doesn't matter anyway). Another thing is, if you truly do want to mask the smell of sweat, this will do it. However, I think in this case the cons outweigh the pros, making this, at least in my opinion, a below average deodorant spray overall.
I opted for this deodorant after trying out the Dark Temptation one, which seems to smell of chocolate. You either love or hate that one, and the Click variety is a good safety net. It smells pretty normal as you'd expect the deodorant to smell and it's quite strong too. Most importantly, it seems to do a good job.
The deodorant comes in a can with a unique design from the latest Lynx range. This can is black with a silver Lynx logo on the front. The Click colour scheme is blue and the design is quite sharp and modern. The top of the can is what makes it unique and I do love the design.
You have to twist the plastic top to raise the deodorant spray button and the nozzle. This may sound like one of those mechanisms that is done to impress, but just fails upon use. However it actually works very well and has never broken for me. I don't see many advantages of it, purely besides the excitement of it all! It does conserve a bit of space when you twist it back down, and stops the button from accidentally being pressed - perhaps it's good when you're travelling.
The deodorant spray isn't actually an anti-perspirant, but being from the all-famous Lynx range, it's still priced highly at around £2.60. It keeps me smelling fresh and does this pretty well, but it doesn't have much action if you are going to sweat profusely! I originally did have some problems with this when I was applying it as it started to sting a lot on my underarms mainly. I thought I could have been sensitive to this but found it odd as it had never happened before with any other deodorant or anti-perspirant. It came to my attention that I was obviously spraying it at too close a distance from my body.
They always say to keep it at a certain distance whilst spraying and I never fully understood why. I guess it's due to the spray itself - it changes as it's sprayed out - probably chemically and physically from the moment it is released to when it touches your skin. It left me with a sudden onset painful sting and I couldn't get rid of it easily - rubbing my underarms helped soothe the sting but I had to give it time! I've lately been spraying it from a better distance whilst topless so I'm not attempting to spray it under a shirt, which is too close. This is definitely best, and I have had no problems since.
Overall I think this is a pretty good deodorant. It can't handle excess sweat as it's no anti-perspirant but certainly smells nice with a very masculine scent. The design is cool and it works pretty well. You can get it at supermarkets such as Tesco and Asda as well as beauty stores including Boots, Superdrug and more.

Lynx Click Deodorant Body Spray
I think it's very important to smell nice and I frankly hate when you noticed that somebody doesn't smell nice. It's never really nice especially not when you have to work with somebody or sit in the train next to somebody that smells. That's why we use deodorant! And I'm a fan of the lynx range and love to try all their products out.
Lynx has a lot of deodorants out and they shows adverts on television where you see the man getting women by using this product. Well I don't know if that's a plus or negative, because I imagine it would be quiet annoying having a group of women running behind you every day. So no, it never happened to me or anyone else that I know.
The most important thing for me is it preventing me to smell badly? I have to say I think it does, which isn't really a surprise to me because I know the lynx products are good. I really like the scent of this deodorant, It's fresh, but not like menthol, but more sweeter. It's certainly not a heavy smell, but you can definitely smell it when you put it on. It's quiet out there but after a minute you don't really notice it anymore.
The new can that Lynx have been using now is really nice and handy. This screw cap on the can prevents you for spraying per accident or that the can will leak in your bag. It's easy to use. It got a really good design.
Lynx Click sharp focus Deodorant Body Spray is really one I would recommend for smelling nice during the day. I do have to say I'm a little doubtful that it prevents you from sweating all day long. Normally I like to use it again after a day work, just to be sure. The spray is very friendly to my skin and it never irritates, which is really important. So definitely a good one to use!
Lynx click is a deodrent aimed at young men, This product brings a new click system in which you turn the top round bringing it down to reveal the spray and allowing you to release it. To be honest i dont see this as anything special compared to the caps but i suppose it saves a bit of space , it is only 150ml so fine for carrying around.
The deodrent comes in a black can with the Lynx logo in white, Underneath this are pointed arrows in electric blue. Around the back of the can it has the directions of use, pretty standard hold15cm away, as well as the health warnings telling you not to put it near a fire. The design is simple and easy to hold, its very difficult to release the spray when the top is up so you dont need to worry if its stuffed in your bag.
The lynx click smell is very strong , it does not have a specific smell or vibe, but it does smell nice and the smell lasts so there isn't a need to be doing it frequently like some other deodrents. I wouldnt think this would give 24 hour protection but a spray in the morning and the middle of the day would see you through , a couple of clicks is usually enough to cover your body.
The deodrent is quite rough and although it smells fine the short click design means a lot of spray comes out and once and this does not give a nice feeling on your skin, especially on your armpits where it stings for a short amount of time.
I cant say what the price is due to recieving as a present along with the accompanying shower gel. The anti- perspirent is £2.79 so i would think this to be a bit less than that, to be honest i have never thought the lynx deodrents to be that great and worth their price tag.
Its an ok deodrent but the fact that its lynx is what gives the appeal and not the actual fragrance.
