Advantages: Smell
Disadvantages: The name
Following the successful and well thought out advertising campaigns that Lynx have deployed on the British consumer it is now expected the their antiperspirants are of the highest quality, and Fever certainly lives up to the hype.
The can is as noticeable as ever and I particularly like the bright summer look of the can. Lynx have not been tempted to stick to the ice cool theme that is consistantly adopted by other companies. To me styling is all about pushing the boundaries and that is what Lynx have done. However my only criticism comes about the name which has undoubtable conitations of an illness. I appreciate the fact that it is meant to be symbolic of a party and a fever pitch atmosphere but on a rainy English day ones mind seems to imagine something not as pleasant! This would certainly not put me off buying the product as it does have many positives and at the end of the day you must ask yourself what you buy an antiperspirant for?
The ingredients list is considerable as with any other modern antiperspirant and allergie sufferers may wish to look at the following list: alcohol denat, butane, isobutane, propane, parfum, propylene glycol, polyaminopropyl biguanide stearate, citral, limonene, linalool. The antiperspirant comes with all of the normal warnings and usage guidance and it is also worth noting that like many if not all of its competitors it is classed as extremely flammable.
The Lynx brand is owned by the retail giant Unilever who have gained my considerable trust and respect due to their openness on problems and complaints. A free conatact number (0800 585204) is included on the can as well as how to contact them by post for customers in both the UK and Ireland.
The fever spray seems to be iconic of the route that the Lynx brand has taken as a whole, it is now innovative modern snappy and does the job that it sets out to do perfectly, worth the money.
Summary: Great product but I am not thrilled by the disease like name.
