I am quite faithful to my Dove deodorants but I tend to stock up when their on offers as they can be expensive. If I'm ever caught without one then I'll buy a different brand to tide me over and this time it was Calm & Care by Nivea. What does the product do? The product is both an antipersipirant and a deodorant which promises to keep you both dry and smelling nice for a huge 48 hours. It has been specifically been designed for use after shaving the armpits. It has a gentle formula containing Vitamins and Witch Hazel (although I didn't realise that Witch Hazel was a gentle ingredient!!) and it is alcohol free. It claims that it will cool and soothe the skin after shaving leaving your skin soft, smooth and beautiful. How do you use the product? You use the product in the same way that you would use any other deodorant. You should give the can a quick shake and then hold it about 15cm from the armpit and spray. This one is obviously suitable for use after shaving! You should wait for the product to dry on the skin before you dress. Packaging and Price The product comes in a typical cylinder deodorant can. It is white with a bit of minty green decoration and some extra information on the back. It also has a cloudy minty green lid which protects the dispenser from being pushed in your bag. The product will cost you around £2 and it can be bought from stores such as Boots and Superdrug, large supermarkets and also from a range of online websites. Application and Performance The deodorant comes as a quite thick cloud of mist so you need to make sure you use it in a well ventilated area as it'll make you cough. It doesn't have a really strong aroma. At first it's creamy with a hint of flowers but it soon fades away to almost nothing. As with most Nivea deodorant that I have tried, it isn't long before the aroma smells like sweat even if you don't! I don't know who puts the fragrance in the Nivea deodorants but they're rubbish! It does leave the skin smooth and soft, not that this is a major concern of mine when it comes to my armpits but I'm just pointing it out! I have used this deodorant twice now after shaving and it doesn't sting or irritate my skin at all so it passes the test there. I've yet to find a deodorant that keeps me completely dry but this one does an ok job but it's not brilliant. Conclusion All in all, this is another average deodorant by Nivea which makes you smell fresh for a short time and keeps the normal person dry. If you do sweat more than the average Jo then this won't be strong enough for you. It is gentle on the skin and although I haven't gone the full 48 hours, it doesn't even last 24 so I don't think that's true! The next time that I run out of Dove, I won't be buying this again!
I usually buy whatever deodorant is on offer but I recently discovered Nivea deodorants after my regular offer deodornt was constantly out of stock! I love the pink bottled deodorant as it smells beautiful and doesn't get on my chest but this one is awful. I hate the smell with a passion! And every time I spray it it gets on my chest and makes me cough. I really do not think this is worth paying more for at all. I don't think I would buy it again even if it was the only deodorant left on the shelf! I guess scent of depdorants is personal preference but I know a number of my firends and family bought this whilst it was on offer and they too disliked it because of the smell and the getting on your chest. I would recommend the other scent but not this one! Sorry Nivea but you have disappointed!
I'm not usually loyal to deodorants as I tend to buy whatever's on offer, however having recently discovered this one from Nivea I think I might stick with it. As much as I love a bargain, I find deodorant isn't really worth scrimping on because it's quite an important part of everyday hygiene, especially when you have a half hour walk to work each morning! I actually bought two of these because they were on offer in Tesco. The offer's not on anymore but they cost £2.03 for 150ml. I trust the Nivea brand and wasn't disappointed. The reason I chose this deodorant over the others that were on offer was because of the claims it makes regarding soothing your skin after shaving. Apparently it uses a specially designed formula with provitamin B5 and witch hazel, which helps calm and soothe the skin after shaving. The packaging also tells us that this deodorant is alcohol free, contains no colourants, and is dermatologically approved. At the moment it also has a sticker on it saying that from recent research, 9 out of 10 Cosmopolitan readers would recommend it. The packaging is simple but I think it's quite classy looking. The first thing I noticed about this deodorant when I used it, was that I particularly liked the flow and speed at which the product sprayed. There is a lid on top of the tin, and the button you use to dispense the deodorant is large and easy to press. The deodorant comes out at a good speed, which means you're not waiting ages to get the right amount of deodorant out. It covers the whole underarm area too, without you having to wave your hand round to get good coverage. The second thing I noticed was the smell. Most deodorants I can take or leave, but this one smelt gorgeous and reminded me of Nivea body lotion. This makes it good for layering your scent if you don't want to wear perfume every day. I only wear perfume now and then because it can give my fiancé a headache if it's too strong or overpowering. But with this deodorant I noticed the smell lasted nearly all day, and one day when I wore it combined with Nivea body lotion my fiancé commented on me smelling nice as he thought I was wearing a new perfume! The claims about soothing your underarm area are completely true. I sometimes get irritated by deodorants if I've just shaved under my arms, but with this one there was no irritation at all, and it didn't sting on application either. Nivea also claim that this deodorant will be effective for 48 hours. Usually I couldn't comment on this because I tend to shower every morning and apply new deodorant, but last weekend after drinking a little too much on Saturday night, I ended up sleeping in my clothes (long story!) and feeling too rough to shower till late Sunday afternoon, and I noticed that I didn't smell too bad considering! I could still smell my deodorant, and although I obviously wasn't smelling my best, I didn't feel sweaty or disgusting. This would be a great deodorant to take if you were going camping or somewhere without a shower, as it would freshen you up without just masking the smell like some deodorants do. Sometimes, in the afternoon in work when I've done a fair bit of walking and then the heating's been on full all day, I don't feel my freshest even though I don't smell I just feel like I could do with freshening up, so I'll slip to the toilet and spray this under my arms. It really does a good job of freshening you up and gives you your confidence back. I will definitely be buying this deodorant again, even if it's not offer. Coming from me, that's quite a compliment!
I bought this deodorant a while ago along with a few other Nivea ones when they were all on offer at £1 each in Morrisons. They usually cost about £2.09 for a 150ml can depending on where you buy them from, usually places like Bodycare tend to have them a bit cheaper than most places. The can looks nice and quite pretty with it's white and green colour scheme, and it's easy to spot on the shelves. It has a pull off lid which is easy to get off but it doesn't go back on very tightly so it would easily come off in your bag if you were carrying it around with you. The spray comes out as quite a powerful spray rather than a mist, and it feels very wet on my skin, unlike the Pearl & Beauty one which was quite powdery. This means I have to wait for it to dry before I can get dressed which I really hate, it's so frustrating and is the exact reason I choose sprays over roll-ons which you always have to leave to dry. The scent is just a general fresh scent, not really perfumey or overpowering, so you could easily wear it with your perfume of choice without it clashing. I don't notice the scent at all once I've sprayed it on and left it to dry. I don't find this really works as an antiperspirant, it doesn't seem to stop me sweating at all and I still get a bit wet under my arms pretty quick after using it, even though I'm not a very sweaty person so it doesn't have much of a job to do really, so on that count it's been really rubbish for me. It is however very kind to my skin and the skin under my arms feels really soft and smooth when I've used it.
I am a bargain hunter and like to save money when I can and if I see a special offer I usually buy it as it makes sense as I buy lots of different brands of toiletries and other items and when I saw this one on offer I just had to buy it because I have bought it many times in the past and knew it was a lovely deodorant. It was priced at only £1.59 for 150ml and it is usually priced at around the £2 mark but it was a good saving for a good quality brand. It comes in a can and it has a nice easy to use spray nozzle with a plastic pull off plastic top, it sprays very nicely and it is a nice even spray, I find this one is not too heavy on my under arms and it dries quite quickly. It feels nice and smooth on my skin and I have found it does not irritate my skin at all and I have sensitive skin and it is perfectly fine. It has a nice fine mist when sprayed and it smells gorgeous and a very nice fragrance, it leaves me nice and dry all day because of the quality and I do not have a sweat problem where I need to top up during the day, this one is quite adequate for me and I have used it in the summer months when it is much hotter with no problems at all. I think it is extremely good value for money even at the usual price and I really love the soft feeling it leaves under my arms after it has dried. I find this one does not feel tacky or sticky after spraying it or after it has dried as I have found with some other brands. It has never left any white patches or residue on my clothing as some other brands can tend to do sometimes. I have also used it after I have shave or epilated under my arms, yes I do epilate under my arms sometimes lol, and it has been nice and gentle on my skin. It contains Witch Hazel and Provitamin B5 which helps sooth the skin and I absolutely love this one and Nivea products have been around for such a long time and are very reliable and affordable and amazingly good value for money. I love the long lasting time this one has to keep me dry and it is available in 2 sizes that I am aware of and the 250ml is around the £2.80 mark but I bought the smaller one because of the offer. It amount in the can does last a long time because a quick spray and it works perfectly. It is a nice attractive can which is a nice white colour with the writing on the front and so it does look nice in a bathroom or where it sits. I am not particular about a product looking that attractive but some people only like them to look this way. It is easy to wash off the skin at the end of the day and I highly recommend this one as I do not think anyone would be disappointed at all and it is affordable for most budgets and most of all it works well. I give it 5 stars. Thank you for reading my review.
No matter where I look, I can't seem to find any shops that stock my preferred deodorant, the Soft and Gentle solid stick. I must conclude then, that unfortunately, it seems to have been discontinued, which is a real shame for me, as I found it was perfect for me in every way. As I am quite active and out and about a lot, I need a product that will perform well, but I also need it to be very gentle on my skin, as I suffer from eczema. I haven't had much success so far in finding a product that suits me, as the gentle ones don't work very well, and the strong ones give me an itchy rash. I noticed Nivea calm and care on sale in Asda on promotion for £1 for a 250ml bottle. It caught my eye because I had remembered reading a couple of really positive reviews about it here on Dooyoo, so I thought it would be worth a try, especially as it was only going to cost me a quid! Nivea seem to have brought out a range of new spray deodorants, all claiming to have different benefits. The particular claim of this product is that it is a 24 hour product that helps skin recover after shaving. It has no alcohol, and contains Provitamin B5 and Witch Hazel, nice, skin friendly ingredients. It also claims to leave your underarms looking beautiful, which is a bit of a weird claim! The bottle is a nice, user friendly size, and not too bulky to carry in a sports bag or your luggage. The shape of the bottle has been deigned to taper in slightly near the top so that you can grip it better when using the product. The lid is a typical push down aerosol lid and this is protected with a transparent cap that you just pull off. The button on the lid has a textured indentation for your finger, which makes application that little bit easier. As for the spray iteself, well personally, I thought it came out a little bit fast and a little bit too concentrated in one area. I would have preferred a finer, less concentrated spray, but on the upside, it did not leave a powdery residue or any white marks on my clothes, as it went on clear. It also didn't choke me when I sprayed it, which sometimes happens with spray deodorants, and is why I generally prefer using a solid stick deodorant instead. The product itself felt lovely when I applied it. Very cool and refreshing. This would be gorgeous in summer. The scent was a lovely, light fresh scent, with a hint of a floral fragrance, but not overly girlie, although this is a product designed for women. I think this is the kind of scent that most people would like, as it smells summery and refreshing. I was expecting it to smell of witch hazel, but it didn't! It didn't sting or irritate my skin when I applied it, which was a good start. As for the product's 24 hour claims, I feel that it really depends on two things, firstly the person who is using the product, and secondly, how much you apply. On a day when I only applied a little of the deodorant, I started to feel the sweat coming through my mid afternoon, although to be fair, I had been very active and wearing lots of layers of clothes. When I applied a thicker layer of deodorant, the product lasted me all day, and I was really impressed, although 12 hours would be more realistic than 24. They must test this on people sitting outside wearing bikinis in the winter! This product is definitely more skin friendly than you average spray on deodorant, and although I haven't yet used it directly after shaving my underarm area, I would have no qualms about doing so, because even when I spray it on areas of skin that have a bit of eczema, it doesn't sting, and that is about as raw as your skin can get. Saying that, I have noticed a very small patch of eczema appear under my one arm, but I can't really attribute that to the deodorant, as it could be due to a variety of factors like the type of clothing I have been wearing lately, or the fact that we have been using the central heating more. It could even be due to bath products or shower gel that I have used. I have been really impressed with the fact that I have not come out in a bad itchy rash, like I did with the last deodorant I tried (Garnier). The can contains the usual warnings about the product being flammable and the fact that you need to keep it out of direct sunlight. it sits pretty happily on my dressing table, and I have had no problems at all. In conlusion, this is definitely a product I would buy again. It is kind to sensitive skin and has a lovely fragrance that would appeal to everyone. I also like the fact that it goes on clear and leaves no white marks and soothes, rather than stings my skin. On the downside, I would have liked more control over the aerosol spray, and I would have liked it to have been a bit more effective at contolling sweat and have lived up to the 24 hour claims on the bottle, although that is just me being picky. This really is great stuff. Well done Nivea.
I recently bought Nivea Calm and Care 24hr because it was on offer in Tesco for£1. I think this might have been an introductory offer. It is an anti-perspirant deodorant sold in a white can. It has 'Nivea' written boldly on the front of it with green and blue writing describing the product. on the whole it's quite a simple, but effective design of a dandelion on the can. In my eyes, they have been very clever, giving the impression that it's a simple product that is gentle on the skin. It notes on the can 'Calm&Care', and indeed it is. I am very careful about the underarm products that I use as I have sensitive skin and it get's easily irritated in that area. I have been using this for a few weeks now with no irritation. It also states that the product 'Helps skin recover after shaving'. It contains provitamin B5 &Witch Hazel with 0% alcohol and no colourants. It's dermatologically approved. It does leave my underarms soft and dries quite quickly. I use it in the morning but feel that I do need to reapply in the afternoon, just so that I feel a little refreshed. According to the can it does have 24hr protection, so I assume you wouldn't need to re apply during the day (just my choice to do so). Directions of use recommend to hold the can 15cm from the underarm whilst spraying and not to use on irritated skin. It smells very pleasant, clean and fresh. It doesn't have a particularly feminine smell and could be used by male or female. Nivea Calm&Care comes in two different sized cans, 150ml and 250ml. It is worth looking for offers but the 250ml can is currently prices at £2.88 (recently there have been half price offers in supermarkets). Available to but in most supermarkets, in Boots and also online. A great simple, gentle anti-perspirant deodorant that doesn't irritate my skin!
I generally find that the anti-perspirants which are aimed at the female market are generally better than their male counterparts, and ultimately leave my skin less irritated. I normally choose something with a gender-neutral smell, with a bottle design that I can dismiss as 'unisex' should someone question my unusually feminine choice! Nivea's 'Calm & Care' is one such spray - an alcohol and colourant free number which is dermatologically approved. Calm & Care utilises a specially designed formula with Provitamin B5 and Witch Hazel, which is supposed to leave your underarms soft and smooth (not that I'm particularly interested in my underarms being smooth!). In the following review i'll give the product a thorough test before forming an overall analysis in my conclusion. - - - - - A TOUCH OF HISTORY - a little bit about the Nivea brand - - - - - As a brand, Nivea is owned by the German Beiersdorf company which itself has a rich history. Founder Carl Paul Bieresdorf achieved a certain amount of critical acclaim in 1882 with his experiments on early versions of the modern day sticking plaster, whilst pharmacist Dr Oscar Troplowitz took over the company in 1890. It was a long wait until the first Nivea branded product (Nivea Cream) hit the market in 1911, but after that time, Nivea products were released thick and fast. By 1930, Beiersdorf had twenty sites worldwide and employed around 1,500 staff. Since that time, Nivea has gone from strength to strength and now sells all manner of personal care products in more than fifty countries throughout the world. - PRICE & AVAILABILITY - the cost, and the places to buy the deodorant - Nivea Calm and Care is available as both a roll-on and in spray form, with this review focussing on the latter. There are also two different sizes available - a 150ml and a 250ml container. The product can be purchased from a wide variety of shops throughout the country, with Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, ASDA, and Sainsbury's all stocking the product. The larger size is currently on special offer at Sainsbury's at £1.44 - which is actually half-price, as the regular cost is £2.88. The cheapest price I could find for the 150ml size is in Boots, where you can currently pick up the spray for only 99p. This represents very good value for money, considering many of the rival brands are selling similar sized anti-perspirant sprays for around £2.50 - £3.00. - - - - - - - - - PACKAGING DESIGN - the look of the product - - - - - - - - - The spray comes in a white metal can with predominantly green and blue text - the illustration on the front shows a dandelion clock with a couple of seeds floating away from it, and the overall design is uncluttered and modern. The can features indented sides at the top which allow it to be held without it slipping out of the hand, and the transparent green plastic lid is easy to remove. Under the lid, the ridged spray button is large and easy to press. The rear of the can contains all the information relating to the ingredients, warnings, and return address - plus there's a small amount of text which basically lists the product's potential benefits to the user. The only downside to the can design seems to be that fact that it doesn't appear to be be recyclable - but then again i'm not sure how many of the other brands feature recyclable cans. - - DIRECTIONS, APPLICATION, & DRYING TIME - how to use the spray - - The packaging suggests that you should give the can a good shake before use, and then spray from a distance of around fifteen centimetres from the skin. A gentle press produces a very powerful spray which effectively covers the entire underarm area in a short space of time. When you get towards the end of the can, the spray still comes out with a decent force, which is something that's definitely appreciated - some other brands I have used in the past fall short on this count, and stop spraying even when there's still liquid inside. The spray feels nice and cool when first applied, although it is a bit sticky in the following two or three minutes as it begins to dry. I have found the spray to be particularly good with clothing, and even spraying directly on material doesn't seem to leave white marks. For the lady-folk, the deodorant is supposed to be especially good to use after shaving, as the Witch Hazel soothes the underarm without stinging. Although I don't shave, I do often get a rash from deodorants, and in practice I have found that Care and Calm has no adverse affect on me. - - - - - - - - INGREDIENTS - what does the product contain? - - - - - - - - Although I wouldn't normally list the ingredients for a product fitting into the category of Health and Beauty, deodorant sprays are a different matter due to the frequent use of ingredients which are considered controversial - so let's take a look at what goes into Nivea Calm and Care; The product contains; Butane, Aqua, Isobutane, Propane, Cyclomethicone, Aluminium Chlorohydrate, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Dicaprylyl Ether, Panthenol, Hamamelis Virginiana Extract, Bityloctanoic Acid, Persea Gratissima Oil, Caprylic / Capric Triglyceride, Cetyl PEG - PPG 10/1 Dimethicone, Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Polysorbate 65, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Citronellol, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, and Parfum. As mentioned in my opening paragraph, the deodorant is alcohol free (which is definitely a good thing), although sadly it does contain Aluminium Chlorohydrate. This synthetic chemical is frequently used by many brands as it constricts the pores of the skin, and prevents sweating - unfortunately, its use has been linked with a variety of unsavoury health conditions. In fact, the jury is still out as to whether or not aluminium could be harmful to health, and if you are concerned about Aluminium in deodorants, then you should use a natural brands such as 'PitRok' which is completely aluminium free. In terms of the other contents, well, in all honesty you would need to be a scientist in order to fully understand their usage and reason for inclusion. AROMA AND THE EFFECTIVENESS TEST - does the deodorant actually work? As someone who plays a lot of active sports, I normally choose deodorants which offer twenty-four hour protection, thus keeping me fresh after a hectic hour and twenty minutes of squash. Luckily, I found that Nivea Calm & Care does the job wonderfully, and when I had finished with the sport, I could still detect a fresh smell. The spray didn't keep me completely dry however - although I wouldn't really expect it too after all that running around. To be honest, at long as I still smell nice, I don't particularly mind a bit of moisture, besides, an amount of natural sweating is probably quite healthy in the long run. The smell is pleasant enough, but it's by no means a perfect aroma. It's actually a difficult scent to describe as it's slightly musky and artificial - I think I would have preferred it if it were more fruity, but you can't have everything I suppose. Thankfully it's quite a unisex smell (I don't want to smell too much like a lady), and I can happily wear this in the gym without getting funny looks for the muscular blokes around me! - - - - - - - - - - - FINAL WORD - a must have deodorant? - - - - - - - - - - - Overall, I have had a good experience with Nivea's Calm & Care spray, finding that it performs well at a decent price. It also seems to last a long time and therefore represents good value for money. The spray itself is nice and powerful, with a reasonable drying time, and a formula which doesn't mark clothing. I was especially impressed with the results after playing squash, and as a result will definitely use the product again. No, it won't impress those who don't like aluminium in their deodorant, but then unfortunately the majority of the leading brands do these days. The smell isn't the best, but it's by no means unpleasant, and luckily isn't especially feminine (I wouldn't buy it if it was... honest!). Of course, the following information would be classed as basic common sense, but it should be pointed out that as the product is housed is a pressurized container, you shouldn't expose it to high temperatures in excess of 50C (not that anyone would of course!), and the can must not be pierced or chucked on a fire. I actually found that the spray worked well as a makeshift air freshener - it was the closest thing to hand after the cat had used the litter tray, and the smell lingers for a longtime in the air, masking all manner of bad odour. At the end of the day, if you're willing to give this stuff a go, then now is a good time to buy with Boot's current 99p offer - recommended. All that's left for me to do is choose a star rating, and due to the effectiveness of the product, I think that four dooyoo stars would be a fitting reward. - - - - - - - - - - - - ADDITIONAL INFO - the Nivea website - - - - - - - - - - - - For more information about this particular deodorant spray and the entire Nivea range, see www.nivea.co.uk where you will find a range of information. If for some bizarre reason you need to know a lot more about the Nivea brand including snippets of trivia, then the international website ( www.nivea.com ) seems to have more information than the British version.
One thing I own lots of is anti-perspirant products. I wouldn't say thats cos I'm a smelly person cos in actual fact I'm not at all and to the best of my knowledge have never stunk of BO! However because I hate that thought I do pick up cans rather often (my preferred weapon of choice!) and this on offer (at the moment) in Boots seemed a good buy. The Packaging: 150ml white and aqua green coloured can with an aerosol push button sprayer to the top of it with a light turquoise plastic safety lid that covers that. On the front of the can I'm told that it is Nivea Calm & Care, 24h 'Helps skin recover after shaving. With Provitamin B5 & Witch Hazel, 0% alcohol', the size is stated and I'm told that it is an Anti-Perspirant Deodorant. On the back of the can other information listed includes being told a bit more about the product and given directions for use, ingredients, warnings and size are stated and contact details for Beiersdorf (the manufacturer of the product) are given. It's a nice informative looking can and looks like it will serve a purpose rather than be pretty to display only type of thing and I do like the fact it has a slight dent around it for ease of handling. A Bit About The product According To The Information Given On The Back Of The Can: Specially designed formula, with provitamin B5 & Witch Hazel, helps calm and soothe the skin after shaving Leaves your underarms soft, smooth and looking beautiful 24h confidence, anti-perspirant protection Alcohol free, no colourants, dermatologically approved Using It: To use this you simply spray it onto clean pits (even after shaving them if you wish) and at arms length. It sprays on a wet spray that has a sort of sweet leafy aroma to it and it dries in seconds leaving no residue on the skin at all. It leaves skin feeling hydrated, soft, supple and smooth and not one bit greasy. Not only does it make the armpits feel nice and give them a nice subtle, fresh fragrance it does keep me fresh and dry for 24hrs! The smell lingers under the arms for a good few hours and all round this is a really nice, simple to use deodorant and of course as promised on the can it can be applied straight after shaving too! This is a really nice deodorant and another nice addition to the Nivea line of products. I bought my can in Boots on offer for a pound a can but if not on offer can be found in all good supermarkets and chemists costing about £1.99 a can. This review is also posted on Ciao under this same username.
Having completed the Race for Life in May, I received this mini sample in my bag of goodies..... ~ Price and Packaging ~ The 250ml aerosol spray is priced at £2.88 at most major supermarkets although Asda have an offer at the moment for 2 for £4 so quite a good reduction. The usual RRP of this anti-perspirant deodorant is therefore £1.15 per 100ml which when you compare it to some other brands such as Soft & Gentle, which currently work out at approximately 67p per 100ml, it's quite pricey. The packaging is very simple.... A white cylindrical can with pale turqoiuse writing along with a transparent lid of the same colour. ~ What does it promise? ~ * Calms & soothes your skin after shaving. * Leaves your underarms feeling smoother, softer and looking more beautiful. * 24-hour anti- perspirant protection against sweat and odour. * Contains witch hazel extract and pro-vitamin B5. My Experience ~ The smell ~ This has quite a powerful, long-lasting scent to which I'm not averse although on the odd occasion where I want to wear perfume along with this, it does slightly clash as it's quite a strong smell. I think that it's a unisex scent and I actually prefer this to heavy floral scents that you get from many other types of women's deodorants / anti-perspirants. ~ After shaving ~ Unlike deodorants of old, this really doesn't sting my underarm when applied just after shaving. I can't however go so far to say that my 'underarms feel smoother, softer and look more beautiful' after applying this product. Yes, they may be smoother but that's thanks to my razor, as for beautiful, this area of the body isn't that pretty or attractive! ~ Protection against sweat and odour ~ Yes, it seems to work during a bog standard day without any over-exertion but on the more recent hot days that we've had, I've noticed a very faint niff of sweat whilst out on a very vigorous walk so I'd hate to think how effective or should that be ineffective it would be during a vigorous run! - Verdict - Advantages: ~ An efficient anti-perspirant for a gentle, stroll in the park! ~ Doesn't leave any white marks if left to dry for a few minutes before dressing ~ Doesn't sting your underarms after shaving ~ Dries quicker than a lot of roll on deodorants that I use. Disadvantages: ~ Not great in very hot weather whilst being a little energetic. - Some other Nivea Deodorants / Anti-Perspirants - ~ Fresh Natural ~ Pure Invisible ~ Double Effect ~ Pearl and Beauty Thanks for reading.
