I wouldn't say it would last 24 hours, (I can't say I've tested this one out), but it does last what could be regarded as a 'normal' day. I personally do find it helps after shaving, and tends to reduce and soothe the irritated feeling I get. So a tick from me on that one. The 'ball' part of the roll on is relatively small (in comparison to some others) which means that it ...more

Nivea Calm & Care Roll On: Calming and Caring (547 words)

I like to vary the roll on deodorants that I use, so when I saw this one on offer a while back I decided to give it a go. Even at half price (I paid about £1.10) there were other cheaper options available, but I must admit I do tend to lean towards branded items in the deodorant department as I do tend to find they work much better. This roll on is also importantly an anti-perspirant. I have pretty sensitive skin, so the name 'Calm and Care' and the fact the bottle claims to give gentle care for 24 hours definitely helped attract me to this product. I'm not a Nivea fan although as a teenager I'm sure I used a tub of the cream on my face, but it was less than half price and I do like a bargain so decided to try it. Recently I've been wearing Mum roll on but for the last month or so I've been struggling to find it in stock anywhere. On my last trip to Morrisons I looked again and when it wasn't on the shelf decided to try something else. I chose this Nivea Calm & Care roll on because it sounded gentle and I have very sensitive skin and also because it was on offer. On offer actually only brings it to normal price however, I paid just over a pound for this 50ml bottle and that was half price so normally it's quite steep compared to most other roll ons. The bottle is glass and stands upright, the liquid inside is an off white and the label tells us this contains no ...  Read the complete review
