I’m not fussy when it comes to deodorant and will often by whatever brand is on offer for £1 in Asda. Last week I picked up the Soft & Gentle orange blossom and grape fruit 48 hour protection.
I have to say it smells lovely, it’s a very feminine scent which isn’t over powering. There are three other fragrances within the 48 hour protection range, but I haven’t used any of those yet so can’t comment on the way they smell.
The deodorant kept me dry and odour free throughout the day, which is all I really want in a deodorant.
It’s very simple to use as with most deodorants simply remove the lid, hold approx. 15cm from underarms and spray. I did find that if I didn’t shake the bottle thoroughly before using it, I would be left with white powder under my arms. A vigorous shake eliminates this, it’s more annoying than an actual problem.
The bottle has a simple design, a white and yellow bottle with black texts. The text is clear and easy to read. There is a curve in the middle/top of the bottle which makes it really easy to hold.
This deodorant didn’t irritate my skin, I find with some brands of deodorant I can get itchy underarms but this wasn’t the case with soft and gentle.
This deodorant is widely available and is usually priced around the £1.50 mark for a 150mm bottle.
I would recommend this product but wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it.
I have been using Soft and Gentle Anti Perspirant and deodorant for the last few weeks. The one I bought is 'Soft Jasmine & Coco Milk' I bought it for around a pound from Home Bargains or B&M. Tesco have 250ml for £2.50. You can get a 50ml roll on in the same fragrance for a pound.
The can is tall and slim and curves in towards the top making it easy to hold. It's white and pink with a small pink lid and a small nozzle; it looks like a large body spray can. The can has plenty of info printed on including directions- shake and spray 15cm from underarm. Tesco website states it lasts 48 hours my can says 24 so maybe they've reformulated it. However my can is available from cheap stores.
It gives a good spray but is a strange one. As it goes on it doesn't seem to cover my skin very well, I end up having to spray loads on. It does dry quick though and doesn't leave powder residue on my underarms or clothes. Smells nice too- very floral.
But does it work?
No I'm soaked now, it may deodorise because I don't particularly smell of body odour but it definitely doesn't keep me dry. I've put it on this morning after a shower and have not only had to reapply but I've had to wash again too; which isn't easy as the deodorant clings to me as it leaves like a greasy layer.......I've not been active and I'm not hot either........My skin under my arms feels dry- not dry as in nice and dry but dry as in dry skin, it feels tight too.
It feels really uncomfortable under there, not itchy just damp.......
I'd never buy this again it doesn't agree with me!
I'm always up for trying a new deodorant, especially if it is cheap or on offer. Although I had tried other Palmolive Soft & Gentle deodorants in the past and wasn't totally impressed, I was willing to give a different one a chance. I managed to get the Palmolive Soft & Gentle Extra Fresh Deodorant for £1 at the time of purchase.
The packaging for this product does look lovely and fresh, which matches the name really well. The aerosol can holds 250ml of product and is white and blue in colour. The scent of this product is lotus and watermelon and I think the colour choices reflect this really well. The can also has some pictures of these things which helps to emphasise what you are buying. I like that this can doesn't come in the usual pink that a lot of deodorants for women do. However, it still manages to look quite feminine due to the pictures on the front. The can is very comfortable to hold although with a deodorant, how long do you ever actually have to hold it for. There is a slight curve in the middle of the can to make it easier to hold.
After popping off the blue lid, you will find a push button underneath which is where the deodorant comes out of. For the first use, you will need to press down quite hard to break the seal but after that, the button presses down very easily. When held down, the spray comes out in quite a powerful burst so be careful not to hold it down for too long. As the button works so easily, you can use quite short bursts which will make sure you haven't used too much. Even with using quite a bit, there are no white marks left and it dries very quickly, meaning you can get dressed near enough immediately after use.
This deodorant is extremely gentle on the skin, which is a good thing considering the name of the product. It doesn't sting and it doesn't irritate the skin whatsoever. It also smells fantastic. The watermelon and lotus scent is very refreshing and different from the girly, floral deodorants I have been used to using. While there are still hints of floral scents, it is the watermelon that I can smell the most.
With another deodorant from this brand, I didn't feel that it lasted very long at all. I can happily say that this one does last much longer. Working an 8 hour shift and being on my feet all day means that I do need a good deodorant that will last. With this one, I feel fresh throughout my whole shift and I feel that it deals very well with any sweat that may occur. However, I don't think it is a strong enough product for people who would use this before going to the gym etc. or for using over the course of a longer day.
For £1, this is a good deodorant and thankfully better than others from Palmolive.
*This review will be posted on my blog and other sites*
So this was an accidental purchase, as I picked this one up instead of a rival anti stress product. Can't remember how much I paid for it I'm afraid, but most deodorants are pretty similar in price. This particular review is for the Anti-Stress Aromatherapy (Lavender and Patchouli) Roll On
The packaging is pretty standard, with shaped bottle and round top. Its comfortable to use, however I prefer roll ons which are upside down, so all the product is immediately available to use.
The scent of this is quite strong, and not entirely unpleasant as long as you like lavendar. I don't however, and to me it just reminds me of old soap. But then its pretty obvious thats what it is going to smell like so my fault really! However when I purchased this, I assumed the anti-stress claim referred to the deodorising power during stressful moments, but in fact I believe it just refers to the smell. Its quite wet when applied, and lots of product is released by the rollerball, (a bit too much in my opinion) so theres a bit of arm waving before getting dressed to get it dry. Although it doesn't seem to leave much white residue on dark clothes which is a strong plus.
This deodorant claims to give 24h protection, and that it is an antiperspirant and deodorant. I've generally found that 24h is an ambitious claim for your average deodorant, and this one doesn't live up to it at all. Throughout the day, I experience random bouts of underarm dampness with this. Not even at stressful moments when you would expect a little bit of sweating. So the antiperspirant aspect is a bit of a fail to be honest. However it doesn't disappoint on the deodorant front, as despite perspiration it still smells fresh.
In summary then, I wouldn't buy this again. And the product I've got left, will be reserved for days that I'm not leaving the house and am just pottering around! As it just doesn't really work as an antiperspirant and there are far more effective alternatives out there.
I love my deodorants, and next to Sure, this deodorant is one of my favourites. I'm not so much a fan of Palmolive, but when it comes to buying deodorants I am quite strict with money, I have to be hard pushed to spend more than £1.30 on a product.
Why I wanted this...
To be honest I never actually "wanted it" as I was shopping I picked it up, because of the pink lid and threw it into the basket.
The range of Soft and Gentle....
This range is made by Palmolive and they say that while giving you 24 hour protection it will be soft and gentle to your skin. The range comes in 4 different scents....
Passionflower and black orchid.....this is the one that I have.
Lavender and patchouli,
Almond milk and honey suckle,
Wild rose and vanilla.
As well as coming in four different scents, they come in 3 different forms,
Roll on...this is the one I got
My roll on comes in a small little bottle with a big pink lid, when you unscrew the lid, there is the ball that offers the roll on. The main bit of the bottle is whit and has 2 labels, the one on the front telling you the brand and the scent and the one of the back tells you ingredients and how to use.
How to use...
Turn the bottle so the ball is upside down
Roll onto the underarm area
Wait until the liquid has dried before clothing.
The deodorant itself....
The deodorant is a milky kind of liquid, when it has dried you do get a feint white mark on your clothing, not good.
The smell is delicious! I have never smelt a deodorant like it, it did make me quite uneasy however, this is because the rule of thumb is, the better smelling a deodorant, the worse the protection is
What I thought....
I used this instead of my usual deodorant, and I was amazed by the smell, I have never smelt such a beautiful smelling deodorant before. It did take quite a while to dry, so I did just get dressed quickly.the smell lasted all day and I could definitely use this instead of a body spray. It has quite a powdery flower smell to it, but it is so fresh. As the day went on and I was rushing about, I started to feel myself getting hotter and hotter, but the deodorant did not move! I was very impressed by its staying power. So it smelt nice and it's protection is unbelievable, there must be a catch? No way, I cannot fault this at all. The added bonus is that after I have shaven my underarms and applied this, there is no stinging what so ever. It seems to smooth and even my underarm skin more than any other deodorant.
This range of deodorant is widely available, in supermarkets and most stores.
Usually I pay around £0.75 but I would be hesitant to pay more than £1.30 and that is for the aerosol.
The top one has to be the smell, it's just delicious.
The staying power and protection. I don't have to worry about an awful smell.
The price is amazingly cheap as it lasts for ages too.
I would say the white marks, but the advantages far outweighs the disadvantages and I can forgive the white marks.
Would I recommend..
I always seem to struggle with deodorants. If they smell nice, they dont seem to give me enough protection. If they give me long lasting protection, they leave white marks.
I try to change my deodorant every few months, as I have heard this if the best way to avoid your skin becoming to used to them, and usually stick to roll on as they never leave me with white marks.
So when I asked my boyfriend to pick me some up and he came home with a 99p spray deodorant, I was not happy at all because I had no faith that it would work.
Palmolive Lavender and Patchouli -
This deodorant cleains to give you 24 hour protection to help you stay 'fresh and dry' all day. They know 'how important it is to be protected and feel confident' but also seem to understand that the fragrance of a deodorant is just as important.
The back of the deodorant can states that the 'new anti-stress anti-perspirant with it's relaxing essential oils of lavender and patchouli is fabulously feminine' and the white can with pink flowers and pink lid completely support this statement.
Availability and Price -
I have seen this deodorant in several different stores, including; Boots, Asda, Spar and out local newsagent, so it is obviously widely available.
I have never paid more than £1.50 for a 150ml can.
Direction for use ... -
...if you need them!
As with most sprays, shake the can and hold it upright. Hold roughly 15cm away from your underarm and spray.
The can states not to apply to sore or broken skin. Also, as we are all taught in school. this is not likely to work if you havent washed before application.
Soft and Gentle -
So, to round it up, Palmolive claim that this deodorant smells 'fabulously feminie', is 'soft and gentle' and will provide 24 hour protection. Doesn't seem likely for a 99p deodorant, right?
After using slightly more expensive deodorants for yours, I felt robbed when I realised how good this one is.
I work 14 hour shifts and walk 45 minutes into work, if I spray myself with this just before I leave, I feel completely protected throughout the day and find that I don't have to re-apply at all!
Also, the scent is extremely feminie. I don't know what patchouli is supposed to smell like but definately pick up hints of lavender. The best way that I can describe it is a mix of flowers and soap, which sounds strange but is very fresh and sticks throughout the day.
As well as this, when spraying the deodorant onto my underarms, I realised why it was called 'Soft and Gentle'. Some deodorants can leave a stinging sensation after spraying, even if you hold it 15cm away. Even if I am rushing and end up holding this 2cm away, it feels gentle and doesn't leave me with any discomfort at all.
I always keep this in my handbag, in case of emergency, but have never had to use it out of the house. However, I don't mind leaving it in there as it is so feminie looking that I don't care if anyone sees it.
Unless my skin starts to get used to this, I will be sticking with it from now on! I have never come across a deodorant that ticks all the boxes at such a low price!
Deodorant is a bit of a mind field for me, I am yet to find one that I would be loyal to but this is more down to me than the deodorants. I do suffer from fairly heavy sweating especially during the summer months and will use a specialist deodorant then but in the winter I can get away with just an ordinary deodorant. Recently whilst shopping in Asda I remembered that I had begun to run low of deodorant so headed to the toiletry isle to see if I could find one that I would like. This is when I spotted the Palmolive Soft and Gentle range of deodorants on a special offer and decided to give one a try.
The Palmolive Soft and Gentle range of deodorants come in roll on, spray and stick form. This is the same as most deodorant brands and personally I tend to prefer the rolls on as I find them easier to apply where you need them and less likely to mark clothing.
I purchased a 50ml roll on in the soft jasmine and coco milk fragrance. Admittedly the main reason I chose this fragrance over the others was the pink flowers on the front of the bottle, I tend to be drawn to anything pink in colour. I paid just £0.87 for the roll on which I thought was great value and also thought if it was not suitable then I would not have lost much. You can also purchase the Palmolive Soft and Gentle range of deodorants in other large supermarkets, Wilkinson's, Boots, Superdrug and Pharmacy's.
You can also purchase the Palmolive range in the following other fragrances:
- Wild Rose & Vanilla
- Lavender & Patchouli
- Almond Milk & Honeysuckle
- Passion Flower & Black Orchid
I was impressed with the design of the bottle as it shaped to allow you to grip it easily making application very easy. The roller ball is also a good size and moves freely and distributes the deodorant smoothly without leaving blobs as I have found with some brands I have used.
One of the best things I found about this deodorant was the fragrance it is quite sweet and floral but not too overpowering. I noticed that in evening when I get undressed at the end of the day I could still smell the lovely fragrance which impressed me.
As far as performance goes then so far I have again been impressed, the deodorant dries fairly quickly after application which means I do not need to stand for 5 minutes with my arms flapping in the morning before I can get dressed. My under arms have also remained rather dry too which is a miracle for me as even on some colder days it only takes a trip on a warm bus for me to get a little damp under there. Now whether this deodorant would stand the test of a hot day for me is unlikely as most don't but as I said I do use a specialist deodorant to control my sweating in the summer but would certainly buy this to use for the lovely fragrance and am sure that it would work well for anyone who does sweat a normal amount. Also I have quite sensitive skin and have not experienced any irritation from using this deodorant even after shaving. Futhermore this deodrant did not leave any staining on my clothing which is one thing that really bugs me about some deodorants.
Overall I have been very impressed with this Palmolive soft and gentle deodorant and will certainly be exploring the other fragrances in the range.
I am usually loyal to Dove deodorant, in particular the Invisible dry one, as it doesn't leave white marks on dark clothes and it's moisturising to my underarms. When my sister gave me a bottle of Palmolive Soft and Gentle Extra Fresh as part of a beauty hamper, I decided I would give it a try and see how it compared to my usual.
The deodorant comes in an attractive curvy can which has a turquoise colour theme. The deodorant is 'lotus and watermelon' fragrance, and so a small pink slice of watermelon also features. On the whole I like the design of the can, it's modern and I like the curvy shape, which makes it comfortable to hold.
The product is described as 'extra fresh' and says it will keep you protected and feeling confident. I do not have a huge problem with sweating, so I don't particularly feel I need a heavy duty deodorant, but in reality, the fresher the better with these things.
When spraying the deodorant I found it had a lovely fresh smell to it. It smells quite fruity (presumably that's the watermelon) and is light and summery as well as very feminine.
In terms of keeping me dry, I would say that this worked reasonably well on most days, but did not cope so well in hot weather. When we started more sun recently, I found that it was not quite as effective as I would like...disappointing for a product that calls itself extra fresh. With my usual Dove deodorant, I never have to top up during the day, as the effects are long lasting. With this one, if it was warm outside, I felt sweaty after just a few hours, which made me self conscious so started carrying around another travel sized deodorant in my handbag. Again, when exercising, the deodorant didn't really keep me dry, so I'd suggest it's not the best product for the gym.
On a more positive note, the deodorant didn't leave any white marks on my clothes and was gentle on my underarms, which is important to me, as I have suffered with eczema under my arms in the past.
A 150ml can of this deodorant costs £1.83 from ASDA. It is also available in the usual places such as Boots and Superdrug.
Overall, I thought this was OK, and on normal days when I was just sitting in the office, or lazing around at home it was fine. As soon as it became warm, or I did any sort of exercise, the deodorant struggled to do it's job, so for those reasons I will not buy another one, and would not recommend it either. Looks like it's back to Dove for me!
I am not particularly a deodorant snob, however I have not come to terms with this one as of yet, as it simply not the right one for me. Palmolive Soft & Gentle offer a wide range of deodorants which seem in appealing scents. They are also available in many different ways, including roll ons, aerosol cans and as deodorant sticks. The particular product I will be reviewing is Palmolive Soft & Gentle's Sensual Aromatherapy Deodorant in Wild Rose and Vanilla.
I get through deodorants fairly quickly, as I assume most people do. Because I use it so frequently, I do tend to avoid paying ridiculous amounts for them, and I am pretty much happy go lucky with whichever I pick up. To my surprise, I managed to pick this one up for only £1.00 at Poundland. Obviously when you are paying this little for a product, you aren't going to expect wonders from it, however this is a branded deodorant by quite a well-known company, therefore I had high hopes for it.
You get a decent 150ml worth of deodorant, however compared to many other cans this is very little, meaning I did get through it quite quickly. The can it comes in is nothing special and is simply white and pink in colour with a few swirls here and there to make it look a bit nicer, however for some reason I just find it a bit old fashioned, and like something my nan would buy.
In addition to this, the only way I would describe the scent is also as something my nan would wear. Rose is generally quite an old scent, but I felt that the vanilla may counteract with this to provide a nice, fresh scent. I normally opt for fruity scents when it comes to deodorants, but I have to admit this was not the scent for me. Thankfully, it is not too overpowering once you've applied it, but definitely a no-no. Suited more to the older generation of women.
To apply it, you simply have to shake the can and then apply around 15cm away from your underarm skin. Something I can vouch for with this deodorant is that it does not leave any white marks, and this is a problem I have had in the past with many deodorants. After I had applied it, I did feel as if I was protected, and as it is an anti-perspirant it should protect you for up to twenty four hours. I am unsure if it lasted this long because I like to top up my deodorant in the day for extra freshness, but for an awful smelling deodorant it did the job.
Overall, it was okay for a £1, but not something I would go out of my way to buy again. It does do the job, but the smell is not for me, and overall I find it a bit too old fashioned, so will stick to a brand more familiar to me in future, such as Dove or Sure. Thanks for reading.
I am going to review the Sensual Soft and Gentle spray deodorant. I have been through many different types of deodorant and I find this one the best "smell" wise. Originally I was drawn to its sleek pretty packaging but it has become my staple everyday deodorant. It may not be the best anti perspirant I have ever used, but that is not to say that it does not do its job just as well as the other brands. However the smell of wild rose and vanilla is amazing! People often ask me what perfume I am wearing when I am only wearing this deodorant. I also find it reminds me of summer and always gives me a mood boost when I put it on. It has never left white marks on any of my clothes, and it doesn't sting on application it is very gentle on the skin. If you are looking for great smelling deodorant that helps stop sweat (ok maybe not for 24 hours but long enough) then I would reccommend this product to you.
After using deodorants for a long while I'm afraid this has to be the worst one I've ever used. It's smell is very old fashioned and does not do what a deodorant is supposed to do at all? You find yourself topping up a lot throughout the day and it does nothing for sweating problems!! All it seems to do is surround you in a white mist that has an old perfumed smell and then disappears again, your clothes get full of white bitty deodorant and falls off on your clothes - I guess its safe to say this deodorant doesn't have much going for itself. Although I have dissed the deodorant I haven't tried the roll on so I will be sure to write a review on it.
I go to Dublin quite a bit because the OH parents live over there and his mum usually has me the essentials waiting for me to use, Soft & Gentle deodorant is always there calling my name..
Soft & Gentle
Soft & Gentle is a deodorant by Palmolive, a brand that offers a wide range of beauty products.
The deodorant comes in sprays, rolls on & I haven't seen this, but I am guessing from the picture above it also comes as a stick.
There are a lot of choices to choose from when it comes to these deodorants, there is plenty of different smells so I am sure you could find one which you like, there are also plenty of types to choose from, some include:
- Sensitive skin
- Anti-stress and relaxation.
- 24 hour protection
- No white marks left
- Body responsive
The sizes these usually come in are 150ml, 250ml and 50ml for the roll on.
The price is usually around £1.00 for the roll on, up to £3.00 for the aerosols.
The one which I will be reviewing on because it is the one I mostly use, will be the Soft & Gentle sensual deodorant, Wild rose & Vanilla, sounds good right?
The whole look this deodorant has going on is kind of sensual!
The bottle is white and pink, a picture of a flower coming out of the Palmolive Soft & Gentle logo, as you go down the bottle the white kind of fades into a dark hot pink.
This deodorant says that it contains a formula that will give you 24 hour protection so I can stay fresh and dry all day.
I wouldn't say I sweat extremely bad, I probably just sweat as the average person does, but still I have noticed with other deodorants that sometimes it will get damp and sticky during the day.
I always shake before I use deodorant because its just become a habbit, I usually spray from around 15cm away as suggested to do, the spray comes out fairly quickly and isn't wet feeling when going on, its kind of like..a powder?
I find it makes my underarms feel so soft & silky and it dries straight away, I usually spray this with no clothes on because otherwise it will leave powdery white marks on my clothes, there is a anti marks version available though so you can always try this.
The smell of this is gorgeous, I really get the vanilla coming through, my underarms always feel so fresh whilst on.
It doesn't feel uncomfortable on my underarms, there is no stinging or burning sensations, in a way it feels very moisturising but in a dry way, and I feel like it makes shaving a lot more comfortable the next day.
As for the 24 hour dryness, hmm, I would say that there is times when it will still get that damp feeling, but only if I am doing something that requires some physical activity or if the weather is quite hot, at the end of the day the smell is still there and your underarms still feel moisturised.
For the price of this I can't complain, its gorgeous, gentle and soft, makes shaving a lot more comfortable and it smells delicious.
At Christmas I always get lots of smellies as stocking fillers from my husband and my sister. This is a bit of a tradition in our family and it means that we all end up with plenty of toiletries in the cupboard meaning that we don't have to pay for new ones for a while and we also have a choice of things to use.
One of the things that I got last year was a spray deodorant - I can't remember who bought it and whilst I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth - I don't like using spray deodorants. I am definitely a roll on girl! Having said that there is no way that I would get rid of it - after all it is a perfectly good deodorant so I am using it at the moment.
The deodorant in question is Palmolive Soft & Gentle Eden Passion Flower and it currently costs £1.85 for a 150ml can in Boots.
The metal can is tall and thin with a slight indentation (like a waist) about halfway up which means that it is easy to hold on to whilst you are using it. The can itself is mainly white with a picture of a passion flower on the front and a plastic pull off lid in the same lavender colour as the passion flower - so it all looks very smart and pretty.
The writing on the back of the can promises twenty four hour protection from this antiperspirant deodorant together with a 'skin smoothing soy formulation' to leave the skin soft and help with a close underarm shave.
The deodorant is 'infused with lightly fragranced exotic oils' to keep you fresh and dry and it is also alcohol free so that it won't sting even after shaving.
To use the deodorant you just pull off the lid aim the hole in the white plastic spray bit towards your underarm and press the top of said spray bit! It was never going to be rocket science was it?
I have to admit that, when I use this deodorant, I find the spray a bit strong and it catches my throat so it is not recommended if you have asthma that's for sure! The smell is nice enough although I wouldn't have been able to tell you that it was the smell of passion flower. It does smell sweet and flowery though and the fragrance remains in the air after I have sprayed the deodorant.
The antiperspirant and deodorising properties of this spray exactly what was promised. I am kept dry and fragrant all day long and have noticed that I get a whiff of the fragrance every so often during the day.
Once the deodorant can is empty I shall pull the plastic spray thing out of the top so that I can recycle the can in my can box and the plastic bits can go into the plastics bag.
In conclusion I would say that this product does what is says on the can, it smells nice enough and it keeps me dry. I still don't like the way it catches the back of my throat when I spray it under my arms so, once this one is finished I shan't be buying another one. I shall go back to my roll ons, although I may well try the roll version of this one as I did quite like the smell.
* The product I will be writing about is 'Palmolive Soft & Gentle Cool Silk Spray' I did suggest it to Dooyoo as a seperate product but was told to write the review here - so thats the story there!*
Im the type of person who constantly has a bottle of body spray or anti-perspirant on me at all times - even if Im just popping to the shop. Thats not because I sweat loads or find myself smelling on occasions but because I want to avoid smelling of BO on the bus or at work or something like that. So I do buy a LOT of sprays all the time so I have tried out loads form across the price ranges and across lots of different brands so I like to think I know a good one when I use it which is why Im going to write such a glowing review of this 'Palmolive Soft & Gentle Cool Silk' because it is one of the best Ive used.
Stockists: Boots, Superdrug, Bodycare & Chemists.
Other Info: Also available in a roll-on deodrant, said to offer 24 hour protection, can use even after shaving as it wont sting you skin at all & DO NOT apply this to sore or broken skin - it will hurt!
This comes in a white & purple metallic can just like you'd expect from the packaging for this kind of product. On the front is the silhouette of a jumping women with the name of the product - on the back is all the information you could possibly need: ingredients, directions of use etc. so if you have any questions they ca be answered easily.
I think everyone must know how to use body spray but Ill say anyway - hold this at least 15cm away from your body and spray under your arms. As this is an anti-perspirant it does come out as a powdery white spray so it WILL leave white marks on clothing which I guess isnt ideal but the other effects are so good I can forget that one thing. This spray smells quite a bit like lavender to me - it has a really fresh & light scent that just does the job for me - stops me smelling sweaty without the scent of this mixing with my perfume.
This definitely lives up to its claims for me - it doesnt sting my skin even after I apply this just after shaving and the effecs are certainly brilliant. I started using this while I was on a work trial - which involved lifting heavy boxes and whatnot and I applied this before work and didnt need to re-apply until hours after I had finished for the day so it might not last the whole 24 hours like it claims but it lasts long enough for me - I dont have to keep spraying it on myself all the time.
I would fully recommend this body spray to everyone because it smells nice and definitely lives up to the claims so Ill certainly be buying it again when my can runs out and I think everyone else should give this a chance as well.
Thanks For Reading.

While I reviewed my favourite roll on deodorant yesterday I thought I would do the same for my every day spray deodorant that I love so much it has become a must have on my dressing table. It is Palmolive soft jasmine and coco milk 24 hour protection soft and gentle anti- Perspirant deodorant.
The smell is very flowery to be honest when I spray it I can not detect any coco milk but then while I'm wearing it through out the day I'm sure I catch little smells of something different so maybe this is what it is? The flowery smell is not over baring but it is very sweet smelling almost fruity.
After applying this deodorant and going about my usually busy day taking care of my 3 children I always work up a bit of a sweat. I was pleasantly surprised midday around 6 hours after applying the deodorant I still felt very dry and smelt fresh. Where as many deodorants I tried smelt very strong when I first applied them but within half an hour this one was not over baring when I applied it but 6 hrs in a flowery smell was still easily detectable.
As my day was winding down around 16 hours later I was very surprised that there was still a slight smell of fragrance detectable and even after a hard day running around working up a sweat I felt extremely fresh. This is how this deodorant has won itself pride of place as my daily deodorant.
The bottle is a pink and white 150 ml spray can. It retails at around £1.89 but for a good deodorant that last well and lives up to its claim I think this is actually cheap for a little bit of reassurance so I would recommend this to anyone.
Available in 3 formats: aerosol, roll on and stick /
