Review of Palmolive Soft and Gentle Antiperspirant Deodorant

**The Product**

Palmolive Soft and Gentle Aroma Therapy spray anti antiperspirant deodorant caught my eye in Sainsburys supermarket as it was on a half price offer at 73p for a 150ml can. I chose the Anti Stress variety which Lavender, Ylang Ylang and Patchouli essential oils. All fragrances reminiscent of my hippy days in the far flung distance of my youth!

There are several other fragrances and formats in the range, but this review will concentrat on the Anti-Stress aerosol version.



**Packaging, scent, usage and results**

The container is pretty, a lavender and white coloured can, decorated with a leafy floral design. The transparent plastic cap is also lavender coloured. The aerosol can does not contain any CFCs, and carries an extremely flammable and solvent abuse warning.

The product states that it provides 'effective protection with the mood enhancing experience of aromatherapy'. The scent is delicate and long lasting, without the chemical overtones that certain other deodorants seem to have.

The deodorant itself is pleasant to use, with no stinging or dreaded white flakes on your skin and clothes. The product blurb states that it is clinically proven to provide 24 hour protection and for me, it certainly did.

I must admit that I am not a person who perspires particularly heavily and of course, the effectiveness of the product will depends on the users skin type & lifestyle.

I can't honestly say I was less stressed than usual,as a result of using this deodorant, but there again my partner would probably be the one to comment on that matter!

**My Thoughts and Conclusion**

I would recommend this product to others, I found it did just what it said it would, at a very reasonable price and was pleasant and easy to use. I have yet to try the other fragrances or formats in the range, but will review them should I do so!
