“ Brand: Radox / Spray / Type: Deodorant Spray / Suitable for: Body „
I saw this deodrant for £1 in a shop recently and I love Radox products so thought I would give it a try. It is good value for money compared to some other deodrants. It is quite a small deodrant spray so probably would not last as long as some others.
One of the good things about this deodrant is the smell. It is called Cool Air and the name fits it well as it is a lovel cool fresh air smell and is not overpowering or flowery so is quite a neutral smell and not as feminine as the smell of some deodrants so is quite subtle. It is really good to use on a hot day as it does feel like it is cooling you down.
It is a spray deodrant and the one thing that I have found lets this down is that it really makes my underarms sting after using it. It actually feels quite painful to use every time and so I wouldn't buy this again.
On the plus side though it did seem to work well as a deodrant. It left my underarms dry and smelling fresh all day long even after doing exercise so I can not fault it on its performance it just obviously did not agree with my skin.
This is a good deodrant if it doesn't make your skin sting so I would advise people to try it and see if it happens to them because if it doesn't it is a nice effective deodrant.
Who knew that Radox done Deodorants? I didn't until about a month ago when I spotted this on the end aisle of Asda on offer for £1 a tin. I like things when they are on offer and they do encourage me to try new things if they are at a good price.
I liked the look of this tin. It's the standard shape and size of 150ml and although it is mostly white and perhaps tha isn't very exciting, with the name of Cool Air I thought it looked nice and fresh. The other colourings on the tin was light blue which made me think of fresh Air as well. Surprising what certain colours can do for you to think of an image.
This is meant to be soothing underarms if you have Shaved, and is meant to moisturise and care for your skin. Things i'm not much fussed about as i just want it to keep me fresh and dry.
This wasn't too thick a spray when it came out. Some of the Deodorants out there come out in a big cloud which is a bit powdery, but this was more a fine mist which I gave a good spray of. Seemed to cover a good enough area as well. It did seem that bit wet when it first was sprayed, but it dried quick enough and I didn't have to worry about this all getting wiped away on my clothes.
So the important part, how did this perform and how did it smell? It was a nice smell. A bit stronger than I was expecting. This smelt nice and fresh, but there seemed to be a heavier fragrant scent in here as well. It's a hard scent to describe, but I thought it smelt like a woody aftershave scent, this made me look at the tin to make sure it was for female and not male, which it was female. Just doesn't smell like normal female deodorants. It kept me dry enough. It said on the tin it gives 24 hour coverage, but I felt at night time after spraying this about 16 hours before it was still ok, but I did feel a tiny bit damp, but not really much.
This is a nice enough Deodorant. I think the normal price is around £2 and don't think it would be worth that, but suppose if it was around £1.50 I would probably buy it now and again for a change.
When it comes to deodorant it's something I buy regulary...of course. I only buy brands I've heard of and my preferred option of purchasing them is in spray form and I've never been a fan or roll on's and/or creams.
I spotted this on offer in Sainsbury's costing a pound a can and decided to give it a go as I was running low on the stuff and realised as I looked at it that it was one I hadn't tried before and I do like to test products that I haven't!
150ml white cylinder can with a push button integrated aerosol sprayer to the top of it and a clear dome shaped lid that securely covers that. On the front of the can I am told that it is Radox Daily Elements 'Cool Air' and that it is and Anti-perspirant Deodorant 'Enrich the skin with essential minerals' and that it has proven protection & care and that it lasts 24hrs and there is a photograph of pebbles and air on there. On the back of the can other information listed includes being told a bit about the product, directions for using it are given as are cautions, ingredients are given, as is the size stated and contact details SaraLee (the manufacturer of the product) are clearly given. It's a nice looking, simple can and it's informative enough as it needs to be of course.
A Bit About The Product According To The information Listed On The Back Of The Can:
Radox Daily Elements contains essential minerals that enrich and work with the skin whilst delivering all day protection and care.
Sooths shaved skin, alcohol free
Keeps you fresh and dry
Reduces bacteria and odour
Well to use this of course you simply direct the can/button about 15cm away from the armpits and push the button to spray some of the clear, wet liquid out. It sprays out with total ease and is as I have just mentioned wet but to be fair to it, it does dry within a couple of seconds as long as you don't go mad spraying it.
Using this spray is fine as long as you hold it a bit away from your skin when you spray otherwise (when sprayed too close) it does spray out white and look like talcum powder which is almost impossible to remove and does stain your clothes with white marks if your not really careful.
The smell of this is is rather masculine in my opinion and a wee bit aftershavy in it's approach. it is a clean, crisp smell though and I guess this could be used by men and women alike if so desired. That smell does last on the skin a good couple of hours making me feel clean though!
This is actually a rather nice deodorant to be fair to it. It is lightly moisturising in a none greasy way and works really, really well. I have used this every day for the past couple of weeks and not only do you not need to spray loads to protect the armpits but it really is a none agitating formula and not once after using this have I felt like I've got any nasty niffs going on!
All in all this is simply a working deodorant. As long as I don't spray too much of the spray under my arms and spray it a good distance away from them my skin it's brilliant feeling, smooth and fresh! Though do be careful when using this and think of the motto less is more when it comes to using it!
This is available in various fragrances and if not on offer do expect to pay around £2.00 a can in all good supermarkets and chemists!
