“ Brand: Radox / Type: Deodorant / Suitable for: Body „
~The look of the product~
The bottle is is two separate parts which you twist and pull, the baby pink part which features the labelling and then the white part which you pull out is the roll on stick. The front features the Radox logo and contains the following information ," Daily elements essential minerals" "Anti white marks" "Pure Clear Anti-Perspirant deodorant cares for your skin" "24 hr protects you all day" This I feel is the key elements that I wish to know when purchasing a deodorant and is helpful information. The back then features a little information to try and persuade you to buy it some more, a brief run down is that it will not leave white marks, it is alcohol free and that it contains essential minerals. It also gives directions: "If this deodorant irritates your skin, you should stop using it. Allow to dry before dressing." This is basic information and I am glad that it does not be pedantic by the directions telling you how to apply the deodorant (simple...lid off....roll over underarms....replace lid)
~The price~ and ~Value for money~
The product can be bought at a limited number of locations, I think I bought mine from Body Care but cannot remember the price, I have searched the internet and there are a number of shops online you can buy from, Ocado offer it for £1.59 for 50ml. Normally I try to average it out per use put as I cannot measure the amount used each time I find it difficult, however I apply this 3 times a week (I live in two separate houses so have a different deodorant in each house) I have had the product for around 4 months now and would say that I have used about half of it (25ml)......sooooo I shall attempt to average each use out (this will be very vague so take it with a pinch of salt) after a lot of calculating I would say it costs around £0.01-£0.02 per use which I would ask anyone to doubt this brilliant value for money (I shall talk about my experience with the product further on)
~The smell~and~the look/feel of product~
I absolutely love the smell, as mentioned in previous reviews I do find it difficult to describe smells, I would say this is a fruity smell with a discrete floral smell within (I advise you to smell for yourself as I am rubbish with smells) The product is of creamy consistency with an opaque colour, I find that my under arms instantly feel moisturised upon application of the product and it does dry, having just re-applied the product to test how it feels to touch, it dries with a creamy film coating and does leave the luxurious smell on the under arms.
I generally do not wear black but I have just tried it to let you know if it lives up to its no white marks claim, I can assure you that it does live up to it and after 2 hours no white marks are visible and nor were there any to start with. I look forward to applying the deodorant as I know that my underarms are instantly going to smell and feel refreshed. I would ensure that the lid is screwed back on properly as it is easy to just let the lid balance on top as it looks shut.
I would rate this product 5/5 it lives up to its anti-perspirant for 24 hour claim and also the moisturising and no white marks claims. Please feel free to comment on anything you wish to know about the product but which I have not put in this review, I have tried to write about everything I would wish to know but a few things may have escaped my mind.
Being a Mom of 3 I am always on the go so need a very good and hard working deodorant, I have not had much luck in my search for the perfect one but this one does come close.
The Radox Daily Elements deodorant is a roll on and comes in a white and pink plastic holder. The top is white plastic and this is what the roller ball is attached to and the base is light pink with the Radox logo and product information on. The design of the deodorant is great as the ball is upside down which means it is always ready to use unlike others which you have to wait for the liquid deodorant to soak.
The deodorant is simple to use and to do this you just run the roller ball over the armpit but with this one there is a small twist and you have to push the roller into the plastic whilst applying it for the liquid to come out, it is very simple to do so. The deodorant easily soaks into the skin and the smell is very pleasant. After removing the base you can instantly smell this. It is light and quite floral and very feminine.
There is a claim on the front of the packaging that this deodorant offers 24 hours protection and I have found this to be nearly the case. On a normal day I will apply this just after 6am when I have got up dressed and washed and when evening comes I am still fresh smelling and have dry armpits. What I have noticed though is that on the days I get my cross trainer out and work up a good sweat then I do have to re apply the deodorant after. The deodorant does release fragrance when I am working up a sweat and this again is very pleasant.
The deodorant is supposed to be an anti white mark one and I can say that this really is true. I have wore this with a variety of different coloured top and even my best black dress and I have not had a single white mark on any of them, all different varieties of materials have also been tested and they do not mark either.
My skin on the underarm has actually looked a lot better since using this deodorant and it feels so much smoother.
The ingredients for the deodorant for those wishing to know are:-
Aqua, Aluminium Chlorohydrate, Glycerin, PPG-15, Stearyl Ether, Steareth-2, Cyclopentasiloxane, Steareth-21, Parfum, Talc, Zinc Oxide, Dimethicone, Dipropylene, Glycol, Hectorite, Hydroxyethylcellulose, BHT
The shelf life of the deodorant is 12 months and it comes in a 50ml size.
I paid an offer price of 60p for this deodorant from Tesco a good few weeks back now and I think it is around the £1.50 mark full price which I feel is good value. I have been using mine for over 3 weeks now and it still feels very full so I would say it should last approximately 5-6 weeks depending on how much you use and how often. I have to give this deodorant a good solid 4 stars, I would have given it 5 but it did not work as well as I would have liked when having a work out. The smell is floral and light and it moisturises the skin. The no white marks is also a good bonus. Try and find it on offer as this is definitely worth giving a try.
I bought this product because i was unable to get my usual dove roll on. I thought that it being radox that it wouold be a good subsitution, i was wrong.
The fragerence i bought was fresh aqua, it comes in a small 50ml pot which looks like an egg cup with a golf ball on top. It is pale blue and has the radox logo on the front. To open you twist and pull the golf ball, the golf ball part holds the actual deodrant. The first thing you notice when you open it is the smell of the deodrant. I like a clean smelling deodrant but i found that this was very floral and really not my cup of tea.
As it was all i had, i had no choice but to use it. It leaves white marks on your clothes. It does state that you should leave it to dry before dressing and i always do this but i still found that the nice black top that i was gonna be wearing that day had white marks all down the side of it. I had to remove the item of clothing and wipe off as much of the deodrant with a flannel before finding something new to wear for the day.
It states that it is alcohol free and is gentler on sensitive or shaved skin. I did find this to be true, there was no stinging when i applied it.
I dont recomened this product for anybody, it leaves white marks and if your like me the floral smell will give you a headache.
~What is it?~
Radox daily elements, pure clear roll on deodorant is a roll on anti persipirant deodorant. The brand radox has been around for many years and is very popular.
They have only recently started making deodorant, they also come in many varieties, the bottle is 50ml and comes in a pearly pink bottle with a white knobbly base.
~Is it any good~
I love radox bath and shower products, so was very happy to discover this deodorant, I love the way it smells, very sweet and soapy. It isn't a special smell, just clean and soapy and a little feminine.
I like roll ons more than sprays because they seem to work better and don't leave so many white marks, but because I have such sensitive skin, it is very hard to find stuff that wont leave me red and raw. This is nice for my sensitive skin, but it does take a while to dry, so you have to waft your arms a bit.
I don't find however that it's particularly good at keeping the sweat at bay, I need to reapply it several times over the day, it isn't as good as I would expect it to be.
The roll on goes on easily, nice and slippy, so it doesn't pull your skin (or hairs if you are that way inclined). It is alcohol free so no stinging, although I still wouldn't use it after shaving - ouch!
I've tried a few different roll on deodorants and this certainly isn't my favourite, probably isn't strong enough for my sweaty pits.
It isn't too expensive, Radox is generally very well priced and good value for money. The deodorant lasts several weeks, so it's no massively costly.
I conclude that although it smells nice and is good value for money, if you want a hard wearing deodorant this is not for you, but if you don't do much sweating and like the girly smell, then this is perfect.
Choosing a deodorant is a tricky buisness for us gals I think! Not only do we want a nice fragrance but we need stuff that really works. The market is saturated with offerings and different formulations and well...it's hard work to keep whiff free isn't it?!
Me? I like sprays best. I don't like rolling cold liquid under my arms and waiting for it to dry so prefer a more fuss free approach. Having said that being a dark clothes wearer in the main I don't like white marks on my clothes of course and this is general problem with these type of products, even in this day and age sadly lol.
I do own alot of these types of products. I see them on offer etc and I can't resist them. I think it's the thought of getting stinky pits that drives me to buy them rather than that I suffer with BO. I don't and I'm not a particularly smelly person so to be fair I'm not searching for a real sweat buster or anything really heavy duty but still I want something I can rely on, that smells nice and fresh and doesn't mark my clothes and keeps me feeling clean and doesn't suddenly let me down one night in a hot club and I'm there waving me arms about in the air like a good un and knocking people out with a funky aroma as I go lol
This deodorant I purchased in Wilkinson's at the offer price of £1.00 a can but expect to pay about £1.39 a can normally. It can be found readily available in the likes of Boots, Superdrug and all good supermarkets. I've seen this in alot of places.
150ml aluminium light pink can with a large white and slightly speckled with blue grain push button aerosol sprayer with a clear rounded lid that fits over the top. On the front I'm told in white writing it's Radox (in like a dark leaf shape) and then all in dark blue writing I'm told it is 'Daily Elements', (Essential Minerals), Anti-White Marks, Pure Clear, Anti-Perspirant Deodorant that cares for your skin and gives 24hr Protection (Protects you all day), and there is like a picture of a grey stones and a blob shape in pink which I can't work out what it's meant to be in all honesty lol On the back of the can I'm told again it's Radox and a bit about the product, directions for use are given, cautions are given, ingredients are listed, contact details for Sara Lee are stated (the manufacturer of Radox products), size is stated, the recycle symbol is shown and finally there is a bar-code on there. It's a nice can and looks nice and girly without looking cheap in any way shape or form. It basically looks a good quality product.

Direction For Use....
Shake can well before use. Apply only on healthy skin and stop using if irritation occurs. Hold can in upright position 15cm from underarm and spray. Allow to dry before dressing.
Well using it is simple as you would want and expect it to be. Pull off the lid and push the button down and spray as directed onto clean armpits. It goes on quite wet but very evenly. You can see the moisture on your armpits though it's not drippy or anything and it feels quite moisturising and none skin drying.
It smells very nice indeed. It has a slight none distinct flower smell to it that isn't too sweet and is well blended and clean and fresh though definitely one for the girls although you couldn't say it's really strong when sprayed on you, you can smell it.
It takes about a couple of minutes to dry and when dried armpit skin does feel slightly hydrated and very comfortable indeed. You can't feel it and your then free to get dressed.
Well no white marks appear! If you make sure it's dry before dressing (as recommended) then there is no transfer of any residue but even if you spray and get dressed straight away with it still wet for any reason it doesn't transfer white powder onto your clothes as there isn't any powder residue to transfer! It's like a light body lotion spray using it with the way that it feels on.
It's none sticky, none drying and none agitating you basically spray it and go. The aroma hangs about for a couple of hours and then vanishes but this does give me 24 hour protection. Not once have I smelt anything going on under my armpits I shouldn't!
Basically it's just a really nice simple to use and fuss free aerosol deodorant. It smells nice, doesn't irritate skin and really does keep you fresh feeling all day long. My black and dark clothes don't suffer and basically it's brill! Recommended from me!
