I have always thought that Charlie is marketed for the younger generation so was surprised when a friend of mine treated to this particular body spray but I am glad she did because I think it is lovely.
It is a very bright pink tin container with a tight fitting plastic lid and inside there is a well designed spray button which, although I am nearing the end, is still working perfectly and has not clogged. The spray comes out like a mist and I find that 2 squirts is ample for me and my clothes smell nice for a good few hours.and have even been known to spray a little around my freshly laundered linen basket.
The fragrance is summery, fresh and distinctive and is a blend of tangerine, vanilla and red berries yet not at all overpowering and ideal as a daytime one although I prefer a good perfume for evenings and special occasions.
Charlie Pink retails at around £2 which I think is excellent for what you get considering that the smell lasts and does not go 'stale' (something I have found with cheaper body sprays!). I have been using this almost every day since May yet, as I shake the container, I can tell that I still have a good deal left so I would say it is excellent value for money.
The size is handy too because I can pop it in my handbag plus the lid snaps on securely so there is no danger of leakage.
For all the above reasons I would have no hesitation in recommending Charlie Pink to anyone who likes the smell of tangerines, red berries and vanilla. I think it is well worth a 5 star rating.
I recently bought this because it was on offer in my local store, reduced from it's normal price of £1.62 to only 81p. I have previously used a couple of other sprays in the same Revlon 'Charlie' range and the Charlie Chic is one of my favourite fragrances. I had never tried this Charlie Pink before because I associated the name with a very feminine scent and thought it might be too girly or floral for my taste.
This is a perfumed Body Fragrance and is meant to be used as a body perfume. It does not have any anti-perspirant qualities however but the fragrance may help to mask unwanted body odours.
It comes in a 75ml metal canister which can be recycled after use and after removing the cap. The canister has a broad dispensing button which is designed to allow you to see immediately which way to point the nozzle. The can has a nice design as it is coloured magenta pink with a background picture of shiny pink sequins on the front. I had actually never noticed this before until I looked closely and it somewhat changes my perception of the fragrance as I associate sequins with a more lively and youthful scent.
All product information is written on the reverse of the can with full ingredients listed as well as contact information for the brand, warnings and a little bit of information about the fragrance. I should probably say that the warnings are quite bold on this compared to other body sprays I've seen. It says it is "extremely flammable". Revlon London describe the fragrance as a "juicy mix" which combines "red fruits, tangerine and vanilla". They point out that in the Charlie range there is a fragrance to suit your every mood and having tried several of the range I'd say that was totally true.
The body spray is ejected as a cool, sharp burst of mist. You need to hold the can 15 centimetres away from where you are aiming. The spray feels cool and refreshing on skin. I also sometimes apply this spray to my clothing as a top up scent and it does not stain or discolour fabrics.
The spray has a really pretty fragrance. It smells like a blend of forest fruits and tropical berries. It smells quite strongly of cherry and oranges. This makes the fragrance feel energy giving and exciting. There is a musky undertone though which calms these fruity notes somewhat so that the blend feels more mature. The vanilla notes are warm and delicious and they are pricked with cinnamon flavour. Overall the fragrance is really lovely, high quality and refined. It isn't overpowering but it's powerful enough to make a statement about how you want to be portrayed. I wouldn't say this was an age specific fragrance. I think it would have a broad appeal amongst women of all ages and tastes.
The fragrance is not quite as long lasting as I would like it to be. It has a dramatic effect for about a few hours then I feel it beginning to fade and lose it's power. However, it's easy to top up and the fragrance never starts to smell stale on the skin.
I'm really pleased I bought this as I am enjoying using it and I know I will buy it again in the future because it is such a nice fragrance that makes me feel fresh, confident and happy. I would also be happy to buy this as part of a gift set for a friend.
~Charlie Pink by Revlon~
Charlie Pink is one of a range of perfumed body fragrances made by Revlon. It comes in a bright pink aerosol can, with a pink plastic lid. The can contains 75ml of spray, which is described as 'A juicy mix of red fruits, tangerine and vanilla'.
Charlie is a brand mainly used and marketed towards teenage girls, and is a youthful fragrance. I first tried it as a 13 year old and still use it, and I turn 20 tomorrow. It is a sweet, musky scent, which lasts for about 4-6 hours on my skin. I can smell fruits and berries, as well as the scent of fruit tree blossom. I usually reapply it after lunch, to continue smelling lovely all day.
As with all aerosols, the can should be held 15cm away from the skin when sprayed, and kept out of sunlight. The can is 5in in length, so fits easily in my handbag. The spray is depressed using a pump, which is a nice curved shape that is easy to depress. The pump element is plastic and is also bright pink.
I purchase my Charlie Pink from Morrisons, where it is often on sale for £1. It can also be found in Boots, Superdrug etc. I feel that this is a good price for a nice smelling spray, which lasts me a good month.
I feel that Charlie Pink can be used during the day and the evening. It smells great, is inexpensive, so I award 5/5 stars!
Charlie was a brand that featured regularly in the house as I was growing up. My mum would often buy the original fragrance for herself whilst my eldest sister used Charlie Red and my other sister was a fan of Charlie Sunshine. They would all own the perfumes but sometimes the body sprays would show up too.
When I first started using body spray my mum usually picked it up in Tesco for me. She occasionally bought this when it was on offer. Its fair to say I have a bit of a problem with body spray having up to 30 cans on the side at one time. I haven't actually bought a single body spray since I moved out 18 months ago! I have a couple of these Charlie Pink sprays and I have been using it daily recently.
I love the design of this spray and although it is a simple look I love the colour of the can. It has a pop on cap and underneath there is an easy to press pump which dispenses the spray.
The spray comes out in a fine even mist and its easy to cover your body with just a couple of seconds worth of spray.
The spray has a really nice scent which I think is quite feminine. It is quite a fruity fragrance which I love and I can definitely detect berries. The can tells me its a blend of red fruits, tangerine and vanilla and I can smell all of these. Its quite a musky scent and I really like it.
When wearing this I can still detect it a few hours later which is good. The can lasts for ages too I've been using mine daily for 3 or 4 weeks and I still have some left in the bottom.
I really like this spray and if I ever need to buy any spray I will definitely consider this. Full price it is around £2 per can but it can usually be found on a half price deal.
I have always been a fan of the Charlie brand. Most the perfumes are cheap, can be found anywhere, and pretty much most of them smell nice. However my favourite fragrance by Charlie is Pink.
The packaging comes in a - you guessed it - pink, 75ml aerosol can with a pink lid. The logo is on the front and it had some easy to read instructions on the back as well as the ingredients. It's very simple but because of the colour it stands out and is always easy to find in store.
I think the scent smells lovely. It says on the back if the can 'a juicy mix of red fruits, tangerine and vanilla!' You can definitely smell the fruit. It's very sweet and girly just like the packaging. The scent doesn't really stay on all day. However the can is small and slim enough to fit in to your handbag. I think the spray can be used at any time day or night.
I like how this perfume is like a deodorant spray instead of in a glass bottle like most perfumes. You can pick up Charlie Pink for around £1.00 in most stores. I would recommend this to anyone, a lovely, fresh, fruity scent.
The perfume comes in a lovely bright pink can. It is very bright and girlie and definitely matches the scent.
I like to smell nice and so when I am shopping in Superdrug, I always tend to grab whatever is on offer. My latest buy is this 'Pink' body spray from Charlie. It's quite often on offer and you can easily get it for less than a pound which I think is excellent value for money.
The scent itself is quite strong; very florally, quite sweet and girlie. It has quite a musky scent yet there is something quite citrus-y about it too. The different 'flavours' compliment each other really well. Whilst the scent appears quite strong at first, it does settle down and leaves quite a 'light' scent and so I would say that after a couple of minutes it 'settles' and so isn't overpowering.
I would say that the scent is best suited to day-time wear. I would probably opt for a more expensive scent for night time. I work in a restaurant and I wear it to wear (day and night - I don't like to waste my expensive perfumes when I'm at work. Many people have commented on how they love my perfume!
The scent doesn't last all day which is a shame and so you have to keep re-applying it during the day. But then again, what can you expect for a cheap spray? I always carry it around in my handbag and so it's there if I need a 'top'up'.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this spray. This perfume is available from quite a few places; chemists, Boots, Superdrug, those kind of places and supermarkets. I would shop around as they are usually on offer.
Thanks for reading!

When it comes to body sprays they are something that I like to have a huge collection of around me. Revlon, Charlie are one of my favourite brands as I usually find them on special offer in places like Boots and Wilkinsons for a pound a can and I appreciate the quality and fragrances of most of them.
One I had never bought or tried until recently was Charlie pink, not deliberetely but because I had simply overlooked it so I was pleased the other day when my mate had been out shopping and treated me to one of these!
The can of this holds 75ml of the spray and its cylinder in shape and bright pink in colour with a pattern of some silver sequins depicted on the front of it and it has a pink matching plastic pull on/off lid to the top of it covering an aeresol action button. On the front of the can we are told in silver writing that it is Charlie 'Pink', Revlon Perfumed Body Fragrance and then on the back of the can other information listed includes being told a bit about the product and how to use it, cautions and warnings are also stated along with the ingredients, size and contact details for Revlon. Nice, girly looking packaging this is and of course its informative enough too.
It sprays out a clear liquid onto the skin which dries quickly leaving no visual or feeling of residue on the skin at all and after using this you can dress straight away should you want to.
This has a wonderful, rich fragrance to it which is rather and sweetly floral with an undertone to me of vanilla. It has a slight citrusy top not to it as well which gives it a slight zing and once sprayed lingers on my skin all day long.
This to me is actaully one of the nicest Charlie fragrances in the range. Its really well blended and strong and bold withoout being harsh and from now on I shall deffo be buying this one for myself on a regular basis!

As you will see from previous reviews I enjoy trying out a variety of different perfumes as well as having my favourites, however although I wear perfume everyday I do like to have a couple of body sprays to hand for keeping in my handbag in case I need a bit of a freshen up whilst I'm out. For Christmas as one of my presents my parents made me up a basket filled with a variety of toiletries including some body sprays, one of which was Charlie Pink. Charlie has always been a favourite of mine ever since I was a teenager and my Mum recommended it to me, I have tried several of the different fragrances and the Pink one is one of my favourites (and not just because of the colour)
Charlie Pink body spray comes in the traditional thin cylinder shaped metal aerosol can that most body sprays come in. The design of the bottle is simple but quite eye catching, the majority of it is covered in small pink circle shapes with the odd silver one, right at the top of the front of the bottle is a plain bright pink square with the words "Charlie Pink" written inside in white writing, the work Charlie is written in a hand writing style whereas the work pink is printed. Right at the bottom of the can is the make of the body spray which is "Revlon", just beneath this is written perfumed body spray deodorant perfume, that is basically it for the front of the can. The back is a plain bright pink colour and contains all of the information about the product including the directions of use and cautions, this is all written in a whitish silver colour which stands out against the bright pink background and is very easy to read, all of this information is repeated in a second language. The can has a semi transparent bright pink lid which simply pulls off and clips back on again, this reveals a bright pink spray nozzle which dispenses the body spray in a fine mist.
On the back of the can Charlie Pink is described as being a mix of red fruits, tangerine and vanilla, when I first read this I was quite surprised. Personally when I smell the Charlie Pink fragrance I definitely cannot detect any hint of red fruits or tangerine, I would never have said that this was a fruity body spray. The fragrance which I personally feel is most dominant is the vanilla, to me Charlie Pink has quite a sweet yet musky fragrance to it but the vanilla definitely shows through. I like a body spray which compliments my perfume so if when I'm out if I need to apply the body spray it will not clash with whatever perfume I am wearing. Several of my perfumes have a sweet/ musk fragrance to them so personally I think that Charlie Pink compliments most of my perfumes ideally. I do have the odd fragrance which this would not go with and I would probably choose to have a different body spray with me if I were wearing one of these perfumes. I find that Charlie Pink is also ideal to wear on its own, if I am not going out anywhere in particular and am likely to be in the house most of the day I do not always wear my perfume as it does seem a bit of a waste, however if I spray Charlie Pink over me it gives the effect of wearing perfume without having to waste my expensive fragrances.
Does it Work
I would say yes it does work, I would never just wear a general body spray like this without a deodorant under my arms, however for a freshen up during the day it is perfect. If I am feeling a bit hot and want to keep myself feeling and smelling fresh a quick spray of this body spray under my arms freshens me up instantly. Charlie Pink is ideal to keep in your handbag especially on a hot day. I have also sprayed this body spray on my clothing, I know this is not the best thing you can do however so far I have not had any problems with white marks, it has left no stains on my clothes at all, I probably wouldn't recommend doing this as the can makes no promises that it does not mark clothing I am just speaking from personal experience in that I have had no problems with this.
Directions of Use
These are very self explanatory, however the back of the can suggests that you hold the can 15cm away from the body and spray, this is quite standard for aerosol cans, holding them too close to your skin can cause burns.
Again these are quite standard for a pressurised can like this and include
*Keep away from heat and sunlight
*Do not pierce or burn
*Do not spray on a naked flame
*Keep away from sauces of ignition
*Keep out of reach of children
*Use only as directed
* Intentional misuse can be harmful or fatal
These are all clearly listed on the back of the can and are very easy to read.
Charlie Pink body spray is available in most supermarkets, shops such as Boots and Superdrug. A 75ml body spray costs just £1.00 in Boots, this is the average price for this product although it may vary a little depending on where you buy it from. Personally I find the 75ml can lasts quite a little while as it is not something I use everyday and also just a couple of squirts is plenty to freshen you up, you may need a little more if you are wearing it rather than a perfume as I do on occasions, however the spray nozzle dispenses the body spray evenly in a fine mist meaning that it lasts much longer.
Overall I would definitely recommend Charlie Pink body spray, it is an ideal size can to keep in your handbag and is handy if you need to freshen up whilst out, it also makes an alternative to your perfume if you do not wish to waste it wearing it around the house. Personally I really like the sweet musk fragrance of this body spray but if you are expecting a fruity smell as suggested on the back of the can you may be disappointed as I cannot detect any fruit notes at all, however for me the fragrance is perfect for my personal taste and compliments my perfumes should I need to apply it whilst wearing perfume. The price is also a bonus, I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice smelling body spray for freshening up which is not unaffordable.
This comes in a 75ml bottle and can be bought in Boots for around £1.60 though sometimes there are deals on where you can get it for £1.00.
It is described as a 'perfumed, deodorant body spray' but i wouldn't use this as a deodorant as i doubt it would keep sweat away sufficiently. So i apply my usual deodorant and then apply this spray all over my body.
This has a really girly smell. I would describe the scent as a mixture of flowers and vanilla. It is quite a summery scent and it smells really fresh too, like you have just stepped out of the shower.
It's quite a heavy smell and can be a little overpowering at first but after a bit it settles down and is gorgeous although the scent does seem to fade as the day progresses.
The bottle is pretty small so didn't last long- it was gone in about a week and a half- but as it's so cheap i don't think this is an issue.
This spray is also available in red, blue or black (these will obviously smell different to the one I have reviewed)
<3 Charlie Pink Body Spray <3
The price of this body spray is usually around £1.70 in Boots for 75ml, it can also be found cheaper in other shops so have a look around, I can sometimes pick this up in Wilkinson's for around £1.00. Lots of places do these from the chemist to my local corner shop! so you would definitely be able to find it.
Well as the body spray is named Charlie Pink, you can imagine the colour of the bottle, a very slim elegant pink colour, which looks like it has been wrapped in sequins.
The lid matches the rest of the can perfectly.
My kind of can!
On the front of the bottle is the Charlie logo in very nice handwriting and also Revlon's logo at the bottom.
On the back is some useful information (how to use/what it does/ingredients)
Well I have previously owned some of the Charlie perfumes, they're very nice and quite individual and different to other perfumes on the market, it also feels good to get them at such low prices, especially from Revlon! I picked up this bottle for around a pound about 4 years ago, and at first spray I was hooked.
It has to be the most ultimate girly body spray fragrance out there, one spray of this and my mood is always 100x better than it was before, it is very uplifting.
Well this body spray is meant to be a mix of juicy mix of red fruits, tangerine and vanilla, sounds yummy doesn't it? well it really is.
With this fragrance you definitely do get the vanilla and fruits coming across quite strongly, it is really pleasing and gets quite a lot of compliments.
I usually spray this all over my body and on my clothes to, I find that this just helps the smell come across stronger and last longer, the spray usually last for about 5 hours on my skin which is great, the smell also really sticks to my clothes so I don't have to use perfume!
I love this fragrance and recommend it to any girly girl out there in the world searching for a sexy fun spray!
Charlie Pink is a really nice versatile scent. I've found that it can easily combine with other perfumes (if you're changing scents throughout the day) to make pleasant new ones. Particularly I've found that it can combine with Impulse Temptation, and Amor Amor. It wears quite well, although I think that it might be lost if it wasn't topped up every six or so hours.
The scent itself, however, is warm, sweet, slightly spicy and just a shade deeper than Charlie Secret (which I also own and have reviewed). It reminds me of summer evenings with friends, and fragrant blossoms. I would suggest this for people who like a flirty, feminine, easy-to-wear scent but with deeper undercurrents.
The packaging is a bright metallic pink, with the "Charlie" brand logo and the title of the scent in silver. While this doesn't appeal to me, it certainly fits the slightly cheeky, flirty feeling I get from the perfume. The nozzle continues the theme in pink, and is of that more modern curvy type, with a smaller, squatter cap.
I like to buy body sprays for those days when I am lounging around at home with no real plans to go out anywhere so that I don't have to use my expensive perfumes to smell nice! I tend to look out for them when they are on special offer and this is how I came to pick up Charlie Pink. I bought the spray from Boot's for £1.00 a little while ago.
The Charlie brand is made by Revlon and is something I can remember from being a teen as my first perfume was a Charlie Silver fragrance, bought for my fourteenth birthday I think! You can pick up the body sprays in various fragrances including red, blue, black and of course pink which is the one I am reviewing.
The Charlie Pink body spray comes in a standard thin looking canister which is all pink and has pictures of pink sequins all over it. The packaging looks very girly and pretty and I have to admit that this is what drew me to choosing this variety over the other Charlie sprays on offer as I love all things pink! The spray has a matching pink lid which once removed reveals a pink aerosol spray. There is 75ml of the body spray in the can which I think is quite standard.
The bottle tells us that the body spray is a "juicy mix of red fruits, tangerine and vanilla" and whilst I cannot pick out the individual scents I would say that the body spray is quite fruity. I think the fragrance is very pleasant and girly and I do enjoy using this spray as I feel it really makes you smell lovely.
When using the body spray you should hold the can around 15cm from your body and then spray as desired. When you do this you will find that the body spray feels quite cold on your skin but this is the same with any spray I find! I also tend to use the spray directly on to my clothes as I find this makes the scent more prominent and apparent when you move around.
I think this particular body spray is great and you can usually still smell the scent after a few hours after application which is all I expect from a body spray anyway as I always use a separate deodorant to keep me feeling fresh. The body spray fits very easily into your bag so it is a portable option for smelling lovely throughout the day without having to use expensive perfumes!
As I mentioned earlier I always look out for body sprays on offer and at just £1.00 I think this spray is great value. I would recommend looking out for offers as I think these sprays are nearer to £2.00 when at full price and as such it represents worse value for money.
I would give this body spray a full five stars as I feel it is feminine, smells lovely and has a pretty pink can which won't look out of place in your bag!
Thank you for reading my review!
I recieved a Charlie giftset at Christmas from my sister and this was one of the body sprays that was in it, Charlie Pink.
The body spray comes in a fuscia pink aerosol can with the logo of Charlie in silver and underneath, the word "Pink" in block capitals. Underneath that it says "Revlon, perfumed body fragrance, deodorant parfume." On the can I got, the front is highly decorated with a repeated pattern I can't entirely make out. To me the pattern looks like circles with dots in the middle and then two lines criss crossing through, though the pattern isn't really of any importance lol.
You get 50 mls of this body spray in a can and the scent is quite strong and highly perfumed, you certainly don't need a lot of it. The actual fragrance is very feminine and girly yet clean smelling with a slight floral hint. To me it smells like a very expensive designer perfume, that's the only way I can describe it. It's certainly not a "macho" scent, very much for the ladies and I think anyone from teenagers to the more mature can wear this no problem. Definately one worth trying.
This is a great body spray and if you're a girlie girl cause it is all about pink, pink, pink! Not quite barbie pink though! (for those Barbie fans out there! we do get those quite often!)
Whether you are a Barbie fan or not, this is actually quite a nice body spray - great day wear use! But probably not the best for evening as it is not too spicy or strong enough, as this body spray is more of a sweet, soft, fruiter, suttle smell.
Even though the product has a soft smell, that sadly means it does need quite a bit of re-applying!
This product is sold for about 1.29 however do make sure you check all sorts of offers on this product as you can sometimes get it for one pound or even better two for two or three pounds! quite a good bargain there I think!
The amount you get in this product is 75 ml.
This product can be bought in places such as Supedrug, Boots, all supermarkets, Wilkos, Savers but places such as wilko and Savers can be quite cheaper than other places, but offers on this product happen quite often around every two to three months, so that's good in a way really.
Overall, a great day wear use, great if you're on a budget for money or beauty products. four out of five stars for me!
When it comes to body sprays, I tend to either buy Impulse or more occasionally, own brands from the likes of Boots or Superdrug. I used to buy Charlie body sprays when I was younger before I graduated onto other brands. When I was in my local chemist waiting for a prescription to be filled, I saw this particular body spray (and another Charlie one) being offered for £1 so I decided to snap them both up to replace my dwindling Impulse rather than splash out for one of those again.
Charlie body sprays tend to come in a can that matches the name, so you won't be surprised to see that this one comes in a pink can. I'd call it hot pink or cerise rather than a girly shade of pink, and it wouldn't have caught my eye if it had been the latter so I've never really liked girly pinks. The can is decorated with what I first thought were flowers but actually bear more resemblance to sequins on closer inspection.
According to the back of the can, this body spray contains red fruits, tangerine and vanilla. However odd this combination may sound, it works rather well in reality. To me, it actually smells more floral than fruity and that seems to be the overriding smell. I can't personally smell much in the way of vanilla so maybe that's a much more subtle offering mixed in. It's quite a strong smell at first, especially if you tend to be quite liberal in your spraying like me but this quickly settles down to a softer scent.
On average, I'd say that it lasts for a maximum of around an hour and that's probably pushing it a bit. Compared to my experiences of Impulse though, that's pretty good. I usually find that the scent of Impulse sprays is long gone after around half an hour and I start to feel like I want to reapply to freshen up again. For this body spray though, I don't usually have another spritz until at least an hour has passed.
Overall, I like the smell and the fact that it's that little bit more intense than most of the other body sprays that I more regularly use. While I don't profess to have used a huge range of body sprays (I mostly stick to tried and tested ones that I know and like unless I've swayed by a nice bargain), it's probably the one that's most like a subtle perfume of the ones that I have used. Of course, being a body spray means that this doesn't last even as long as the cheap perfumes you can get but I find that it lasts longer than most other body sprays. That said, it's never going to last hours on end for the price and if you're going to wear it for a night out, you'd need to keep reapplying it regularly for it to have anything like the same effect as even a cheap perfume. One of the good things about it though is that it doesn't seem as wet as Impulse. By that I mean that if like me, you tend to spritz it under your arms to freshen up, it doesn't make that area really wet and give away the fact that you've sprayed something there. It quickly drys so you can do a quick spray and move on after a minute or two, even if you've done a good blast of the body spray. It may be a bit more expensive than own brand body sprays but for me, it works better and I'm happy if I can pick one for anything around £1-£1.25.
