“ Pleasant smelling and effective protection against perspiration, Right Guard Women's Extreme Invisible is everything you would want in a deodorant - at a reasonable price. „
When I buy a deodorant I usually go for the familiar brands like: Dove and palmolive but I thought I'd give this a go as It was on special offer 2 for £1.50 in boots. I must say that I'm so happy I found this and I will never go back to my regular deodorant even if this wasn't on special offer it's just that good.
The product claims to last for 3 days which is insane, also to be invisible with white and yellow stains on clothes and I know how annoying that is as most of the deodorants I use I have to apply before I get changed otherwise they stain my clothes. This product has done everything it claimed for me apart from the 3 day thing as I wouldn't really know since I have daily showers. The deodorant takes a few minutes to dry but after that it dries and it isn't sticky or uncomfortable and since the weather has been warming up it hasn't made any difference to the performance of this as it still lasts through the day so I will definitely turn to this in the summer. I work long days in the office and my job is a very demanding job so I tend to sweat a lot and this really does work to keep it undetectable and it covers it with a lovely floral fragrance. I bought this last month so I haven't had it for long but from my experience, I am very happy with the product and I will be buying it again.
- floral, girly smell which isn't too overpowering
- lasts all day
- no white marks
- feel fresh all day
- bargain when on special offer
- when not on special offer its usually £2.50
- small can, only 150ml
It has a fresh smell that generally lasts a few hours without needing to top up again. It is effective for average daily activity levels, however, I feel it does need to be reapplied every couple of hours other wise perspiration will become present. It does give the dreaded 'white marks' as I feel most antiperspirant do, even though it states it doesn't. This is better with marks on white garments, rather then when used on dark clothing. Not the best of women's deodorants available but if you can find it on offer for £1, it is certainly worth that. Would not pay full price for this product.
I do not think that this deodorant works very well, it doesn't smell great and the can runs out rather quickly. The lid wasn't great to press done and I didn't really like the pattern on the can. It doesn't smell great and did not really help me stop sweating. It is expensive for a product that doesn't work, and I just sweat right through all my clothes.
I would not recommend this to any of my friends. It works for about five seconds and then the smell is gone and you are just left with sweating. For such a good well known brand I was very suprised that it did not work at all.
This product is awful and not worth any money at all. Personally I find it difficult to find a deoderant that actually works for me but this one does not do anything for my sweating
Finally, an antiperspirant that does what it says: keeps you dry all day long, and night, and day, and night... for 72 hours in fact. This can of magic kept me dry and smelling great throughout a 5 mile run; a first date; a public speaking competition and a night dancing at the club. Not only does it keep you cool and dry, it doesn't leave irritating white marks on your clothing as so many deodorants do, causing you to furiously dab at your clothing on your way out the door. The scent is fresh and clean, the packaging simple and attractive and the end result, completely satisfying! The can is a great, easily portable size making it a perfect addition to your gym bag and the nozzle sprays effectively and comfortably. I am definitely a new RightGuard convert. No more concerns about perspiration stains, I am free to get on with my day looking and smelling fresh.
I love the mens right guard..leaves no marks...smells lovely and basically does the job so when i found the womans i was happy.. it's brilliant as it does do what it states..it lasts all day as LOTS of deodrant's don't
very much recommend 9/10
It's great value for money between £1-£2 and more often than not you can get coupons to get money off or go to boots and pay with your points...you only need the one spray where as other deodrants you are spraying allday as you feel you need more, with this you don't as you feel as you are protected allday.
I have seen the roll-on for this brand too so will be definetly trying that too when i can :)
Now i don't look for the men's ..so glad they have done right guard for women...worth a try give it a go i say without a doubt
I initially tried this when I got a random cashpoint voucher for 50p off at a local supermarket. I have fairly sensitive skin and am quite fussy about what I choose - I don't find my skin reacts to this.
Price - Somewhere between 1-2 pounds. Found at £1.14 at local supermarket but seems to vary. Worth looking for offers and sometimes vouchers.
Package - less sweet and girly packaging that alot of deodorants - obviously the black of the bottle has something to do with the theme of the product. Luminously bright pink and white is quite eye catching.
Contents and lasting - 150ml aerosol. Difficult with deodrants to quantify how long they last really! Depends on how long and how regularly you spray them. Mine last around 1 month.
Quite a harsh spray - stronger spray than most - I tend to hold this a little bit more away from my body than most. The smell is feminine and pleasant - not over sweet/floral. I found it quite musky and can generally smell it for around 5-6 hours. I would not leave it 72hours between sprays. Although I can use it in the morning and go out all day and not really think about reapplying. I generally feel I need to refresh after that.
I do like the lack of marking on clothes - I have never found such an effective spray deodorant at not marking clother before - would definitely recommend it for this reason!
Made by Schwartzkopf (never actually realised before that they own Right Guard!)
I am not loyal to any brand of deodorant and just chose which one takes my fancy while browsing the shelves. I hadn't bought this one before so thought I would give it a go since the Right Guard brand is a good one. This one stood out because of the name women's on the front of the can.
It comes in a can and has the name very clearly on the front and so can be easily spotted on a shelf. It has a removable lid. The nozzle is a good size at the top of the can and it can easily be pressed to release the spray onto the skin.
It has a really nice fine mist and isn't a heavy spray and it doesn't just squirt from the nozzle and drip all over the place so it lands onto the skin really well without making a mess..It has a nice fragrance to it too and has a floral scent and smells quite sweet. I like the sweet smell to it and a change from some other brands because this one is fairly sweeter than the others on the market but it is a pleasant sweetness with the floral fragrance added to it.
It also dries fairly quickly too so you can get dressed soon after using it. It also doesn't feel tacky or sticky on the skin and just feels really soft. I dislike it when a deodorant feels sticky and doesn't dry quickly and I have to wait a long time before I can get dressed. This one I don't have a problem getting dressed soon after spraying it under my arms.
In terms of keeping me dry, I think this one does a really good job of keeping me dry all day long after spraying in the morning after my morning shower. It claims to keep the skin dry for up to 72 hours, well I never would need it to work for that long anyway because I shower twice a day or have a bath in the evenings. But these are the claims. I don't find I need to top up during the day and the one spray in the morning does work well to keep me nice and dry. I guess if you tend to sweat a lot you may need to top up with this one because I don't think it may keep you dry enough if you have a sweat problem. But for a normal sweat I think the once is enough.
I do wear dark clothing and I haven't experienced any white marks on them after spraying. My clothing hasn't been marked at all from the spray, which is good to know I have the confidence I am not going to have those nasty white marks on my dark clothing and feel embarrassed.
I have sensitive skin and this one has been more than suitable and hasn't caused any rashes or irritations.
It has served me well and I quite like it and had no problems with it causing any itching because occasionally I find a product causes me to itch my skin but that hasn't happened using this one so all good.
For a 150ml can it cost £2.30 I think it is a good price considering it works well for keeping me day and I think it is good value for money. The quality is really good too.
In my opinion I think this is a gentle product and not harsh at all and I think it is more than suitable for anyone like myself who has sensitive skin.
I recommend it and I will buy it again in the future, it gives me all the results I expect from a branded product and I am happy with the results it gives for keeping my skin dry all day long.
I give it 5 stars.
Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.
I have been using this product for roughly 3 weeks, I absolutely love it! The smell is especially divine, just after you've woken up and start you daily routine, it puts me in the perfect mood to begin the day. The deodorant doesn't leave any stains or white marks. The smell lasts all day, I'm constantly smelling little bursts of the perfumey flowery fragrance. The deodorant hasn't failed on me yet, I'm constantly running around doing errands and walking up and down the office, walking the dog and the Rightguard Xtreme does exactly what it says, it lasts all day and I'm never left feeling as though I need to reapply. However I would not recommend this product to people that suffer with Asthma as on a couple of occasions I have applied the deodorant and I've been left with a tight chest and have been coughing for a few hours which obviously could leave Asthmatics in trouble!! This is only however happened twice in the 3 weeks and could be my own fault for inhaling to quickly!
I use all different types of anti perspirants and deodorants but I prefer to use one which prevents stains and wil not mark my clothing, I hate that. I don"t perspire any more than anyone else does and I like to stay fresh and dry al day long. I buy the Right Guard extreme deodorant in the cans which cost two pounds thirty in Superdrug. These cans are great value for money because they seem to last ages and the fragrance is so light that it never clashes with the perfume I am wearing. The can sprays a really light fine mist and it obviously has no drying time and I get dressed instantly. With some clothing the dreaded yellow marks can be left behind but this deodorant doesn"t allow any yellow marks to appear and also it lows me to wear dark clothes as it won"t show up any white marks either. It"s an all round outright winner fir me. I"ve been hugely impressed by how effective it is and the cans do say that it is designed to last up to over seventy hours. No matter how hot the day, how stressed I feel or how madly hot the day has been, I know that Right Guard will see me right through the day and always keeps me really fresh, dry and fragrant. I really recommend this one because it actually does what it says it will!!
It seems very warm at the moment. One minute I was putting the heat on at night because it was cold, throwing wellies on my little boy because it was raining and didn't appear to want to stop, and then overnight we get hot and humid weather more suited to other countries! Needless to say, I am very much fixed in the middle about do I like this weather or not ( Im not grumbling but it hasn't helped my psoriasis ). One of the affects of this current climate is sweating, and feeling hot and bothered, especially under the arms. I bought this product from Asda at a special price of £1.00 for a 150ml aerosol can.
Why did I buy it?
Ive found over the last year that I have been busier than ever, due to the kids getting older, more roles I have taken on and other commitments. I am literally that mad woman everyone sees walking at 100 miles an hour with kids in tow like Im on a mission. The effect of this is I tend to get hot, bothered and find it difficult to feel fresh in the old underarm department. I sweat a little quicker than the norm and I experience more in quantity. Ive found it hard to find an anti perspirant that has met my expectations. Right guard have numerous products and I found one version really good. I tried another version and that made my underarms feel very sticky and the opposite of being and feeling fresh. So I thought I would try this one.
How is it packaged?
It comes in a typical aerosol can, 150ml. The can has a lid on the top that you need to pull off to use it. To get the product out, simply push down on the top and a mist comes out of a small hole at the front.
The can is made of some form of metal and is mainly black in colour, with some pink areas and touches of white. The ' Right Guard 'logo is at the top and the product name just underneath, which is ' xtreme invisible '. It mentions product gives 72 hour protection and it also mentions some other features of the product.
On the back it tells you what the product does, how to use, general warnings and ingredients. Company contact details are also mentioned.
Butane, Propane, Aqua, Aluminum Chlorohydrate, Propylene Glycol, C10-13 Isoparaffin, Isobutane, Isopropyl Myristate, Dimethicone, Parfum, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, Isoceteth-20, Phenoxyethanol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Geraniol, Citronellol, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Limonene, Cyclomethicone, Coumarin, Benzyl Alcohol
What is this product supposed to do?
Its supposed to provide 72 hour protection. The formulation of product also helps protect against staining of clothes. Fights the odour source and gives long lasting fragrance.
How to use
Shake well before use. Use in short bursts. Hold upright 15cm from underarm and spray. Do not apply to irritated skin.
So what did I think?
I normally go for a bigger sized can because obviously it tends to last longer and most of the time be better value in regards to money, but was glad to go for 150ml as it was easier and a lot more discreet to carry around, especially in this heat at the moment I didn't want to leave home without something in my bag.
The packaging is sturdy and practical. I have to mention this as I hate using things that have caps/lids on them, and you spend most of your time trying to dig them out of your bag. The cap is quite solid on this can but still easy to take off and put back on. Also dispensing product is easy as you don't need to apply too much pressure to release it.
I liked the fragrance of this product. It was an interesting mix of floral, a slightly more upmarket version of baby powder smell compared to the baby variety and also had a sweetness to it. Definitely a feminine fragrance. Not overpowering but not a smell you could miss, as I could smell it on me for quite awhile.
The application was easy enough, but for me as soon as I sprayed it under my arms I noticed two things:
1. No visible white marks or any form of chalky/powdery residue.
2. My underarms felt a little sticky.
In regards to the sticky feeling, I assumed this was because I was spraying it too close to myself, and needed more of a distance, but I still noticed the same effect, just not as much. I made sure the can got the shake of its life ( as I forgot to do that the first time round ), but made very little difference. The more I have used it, the less of the sticky feeling Ive gotten, but it still is annoying.
The 72 hour protection claim is a load of rubbish in my eyes. Why they would put such a long time period on this product I don't know, as Ive had to reapply regularly especially because of the issue as mentioned just previously. Very unrealistic. What I would say I haven't noticed any staining of my clothes, or white marks on clothes or myself, which is a plus.
Would I buy this again? Probably not. Purely down to the fact that its not giving me that fresh feeling I need. The stickiness is annoying and not very natural. Due to this, I haven't been able to use this as regularly as I would like because it doesn't make me feel very comfortable. Seems such a shame that this brand can have some great underarm sprays that delivery, and then some not so great. This has helped slightly in regards to sweating, not so much. But if its replaced with a different sort of stickiness, then I dont see the point! Will stick to the ones that work in future.
Not a repeat purchase for me.
Product: Right Guard Women's Xtreme Invisible
I was browsing around my local Superdrug store one afternoon when I came across the new Right Guard Women's Xtreme Invisible. As this was a new product and I was running out of my usual deodorant I decided to give this a whirl.
I paid £2.29 for a 150ml size can of the deodorant. The deodorant comes packaged in a black and pink metal spray can. The products logo and description is printed in white lettering at the front of the product whilst all other relevant information is printed at the back of the product.
To use the spray you remove the black plastic lid on top of the can which reveals a black spray button top which you simply press your finger on to spray. I always hold the can upright under my arm whilst spraying the spray at least 15cms away and then spraying in small bursts.
Right Guard Women's Xtreme Invisible claims to protect against three different types of deodorant stains to provide unbeatable stain protection. The innovative formula contains an emulsion based active ingredient and is powder free to help prevent the formation of white, yellow and oily stains on clothing. It fights body odour at the source and offers protection against wetness up to 72 hours.
I feel this deodorant works very well, it's easy to use and offers me protection throughout the day. I shower daily so have never had the need to test this for 72 hours straight but it does provide protection for at least 24 hours. The deodorant has a fresh fruity scent which is extremely pleasant.
The deodorant doesn't leave white marks or any other stains on my clothing. I'm really pleased with the product and would definitely purchase again.
Dooyoo Stars Rating: 5/5
Having seen this anti-perspirant deodorant on adverts for a while now I decided to buy it just to see what all the fuss was about. It comes in a striking black and shocking pink aerosol can with an unlock lid that you push upwards to spray. The name is written very clearly across the front and it explains it is supposed to be a deodorant that leaves no white marks and hense the 'xtreme invisible' name.
Application is very easy as it comes out quite liberally but in a very direct way. I always try to hold it at least 30cm away because I get less white marks doing it this way, but I also find it quite difficult to keep hold of the button because I have quite small hands and weak wrists so its a little awkward to keep holding it down. This means I usually have to do smaller and short bursts which is more likely to leave white marks but with this deodorant I haven't really had a problem with these. The deodorant is powder free to help prevent those white marks, or oily stains.
The deodorant claims to prevent wetness for 72 hours. I haven't ever remained unshowered for this long so I can't really say if it really does last for 72 hours but it has kept me dry while I've been out for the whole day which is perfect for my needs. There isn't really a fragrance but it does prevent body odour (although I also spray body spray over this as it doesn't really have a scent, so it could be a combination of the two). As many will notice the weather right now has been very sunny and very dry, with this week supposed to be hitting the heights of 'hottest day of the year'. In spite of this I have still felt very dry and fresh.
The size of the can is 150ml. This is a reasonable size and has lasted me for a few weeks now with repeated daily use. The price was quite low at about £1.50 from when I bought it although I think that this was on offer at the time and the usual price is about a pound more I think although I have never purchased this at the full price.
Overall I would recommend this product because it does what it claims to and is very effective at preventing white stains or marks and also keeping me feel fresh and dry. The only downside for me would be that it isn't fragranced so when I'm in a rush I need to quickly look for the two cans instead of an all in one aerosol. The price when on offer and also for its regular price is cheap for the size of the can and the quality of what you are buying. It has lasted me 3 weeks now and there is still some left in the can. It is long lasting and effective even in very hot weather, although like I said before as I shower daily I can't obviously say if it really does last for 72 hours. I have worn this while wearing a variety of different items of clothing from darks to lights and cotton to viscose and have noticed no difference in marks or level of sweating and so think that it is a very adaptable and effective product. I have also worn it when exercising and it is still just as effective. A high quality product that does what it claims and has a reasonable price, I would definitely recommend.
A few weeks ago was offered a free trial of this deoderant through Bzz agent. Bzz agent are a company that promote products through word of mouth advertising. They send people the product to try, in return for those people sharing their good and bad experiences of the product with others.
I was given 2 full size cans of this deoderant for my own use and some vouchers worth £1 off to give to people. When I went to Tesco, I found that the cans were on a half price sale at £1.14 (instead of £2.29) so I went one better, and I bought some cans to pass on to female members of my family.
The packaging to this is very appealing and feminine looking. I love the combination of bright pink against black, and I would pick this on the supermarket shelf due to this factor. The can contains 150ml of product, and though it isn't a compressed mini can like some brands do, I think this is small enough to carry round in a handbag as its quite compact.
Using this, I have found that it has a nice feminine scent that is a bit floral - although obvious when you get close to it, its not overpowering compared to any other scent I may be wearing.
The invisible claim is quite good. I find that it I have had no patches of white appearing on my clothes, and even if I spray this quite close to my skin, I don't get the powdery residue you get with some brands. One of the things that Bzz got people to do was spray their usual deoderant brands onto a piece of black card - doing this made me realise that all my deoderants are good at this aspect, though I have experienced this from other brands in the past.
One thing that was brought to my attention doing this spray test onto card was this is quite a 'wet' deoderant. It didn't dry at all on the card, and I find that I can feel quite wet after I have applied it.
The 72 hour claim is a tough one. I find that I can still feel myself sweating while wearing this one so I would never leave it that long to test it, and to be honest, I don't like that sticky feeling you have if your armpits are a bit damp. I tested this out when we went out for the day with the kids, and in spite of walking round in the sun all day and feeling rather sweaty, I didn't actually smell when I got home. I even asked my hubbie to see if I still smelt pleasant, and he agreed that it was still a fresh scent after about 12 hours of use.
I'm confident that this is ok for general activities, but I don't think that I would choose to wear it if I were heavily exercising. I have noticed that I have smelt a bit unpleasant after running about on school days where I have to walk up a hill to get to the kids school, and we often walk at quite a pace to get there on time. Although I have not tested this with a workout session, I feel it can't cope with about 15 minutes of walking, so an hour of exercise would not be pleasant wearing this brand.
Overall, I don't mind wearing this as a general deoderant if I am not planning anything too energetic, and I am happy enough with the scent and the invisible properties, but honestly, I can't recommend it if I were exercising or doing anything strenuous as I just hate the wet sticky feeling I get even if I don't smell horrendously. At £2.29 it is comparable in price to other brands, but I think I'd rather stick to other brands that do keep me fresher as well as not leaving marks on my clothes.
I have been a member of Bzz Agent for several months now and have received several different products to try. One item I recently received was Right Guard Woman Xtreme Invisible.
Right Guard Xtreme Invisible comes in the standard metal spray can, the spray can is mainly black and bright pink, it has the name Right Guard written at the top in white writing with the words Xtreme Invisible written in the centre, beneath this is further information about the product.
The back of the spray can is plain black and covered with white writing, this makes up all of the product information including facts about the deodorant, directions for use, ingredients and warnings.
The spray can has a black plastic lid on the top which when removed reveals the black spray button top where the deodorant comes from.
Right Guard Xtreme Invisible is a spray deodorant which is designed to protect against sweat, odour and stains, it has a long term protection formula against white, yellow and oily stains on clothing.
The deodorant is scientifically proven to protect for 72 hours, personally I find this a little unnecessary as deodorant is generally something most people apply every day (well I do) so needing it to last 72 hours for me is not needed, 24 hours would be plenty in my opinion, but at least you know it is going to be long lasting.
The fragrance of Right Guard Xtreme Invisible is said to be long lasting, when I first sprayed the deodorant I noticed that it had a floral fragrance to it, this was not strong and over powering but was just the right strength, for me the test would be whether this fragrance lasted, however my first opinion of it was good and I did really like it.
Other facts which I liked about this product was that it was alcohol free and dermatologically tested so it was likely to be gentle on my skin and not cause any irritation.
Directions for Use
The directions for use are pretty much standard for this type of product, you simply hold the can upright 15cm away from your underarm and spray in shirt bursts.
Again these are standard for a spray deodorant and include
Do not expose to sunlight or temperatures over 50 degrees.
Do not piece or burn after use.
Do not spray on naked flames.
Keep away from sources of ignition.
Keep out of reach of children.
Use only as directed.
Use in well ventilated areas.
Don't put spray into eyes.
Price and Availability
As I have mentioned I received my Right Guard Xtreme Invisible through Bzz Agent however it is available from shops such as Superdrug and Tesco, I received a 150ml spray can however in these shops a 200ml can is sold for £2.29. This is reasonably priced in comparison with other similar products.
I have been using Right Guard Xtreme Invisible for several weeks now and have been very pleased with this product.
The deodorant is definitely long lasting, I can spray this deodorant under my arms before work in the morning and still feel and smell fresh by the end of the day without having to reapply, personally I have not tested to see if it really lasts 72 hours but I have to agree it is long lasting.
I really like the fragrance if this product, when sprayed it is just the right strength without being too strong, the fragrance does fade but this suits me because I like to wear perfume.
This product is reasonably priced and is within keeping with similar products, I would definitely say it is worth the money.
When I apply this deodorant I do not have to wait ages for it to dry before getting dressed as it really does not leave and white, yellow or oily marks as promised, I can quite happily apply this deodorant whilst dressed and do not have to worry about it leaving and marks on my clothes, it really does what it says it will, the deodorant is gentle on my skin and causes no irritation at all.
This is definitely a product I would purchase again in the future and recommend to anyone.
As a member of bzzagent I receive free samples to test and coupons to pass onto my friends and family so they can try the product at a reduced price too. One of my latest products has been the Right Guard Invisible Xtreme deoderant spray that says it keeps your clothes stain free and you dry for upto 72 hours. So does it perform? After a few weeks use in different weather and occasions here is my opinion.
The deoderant comes in a simple black can with pink on the front which makes it stand out quite nicely from the rest of the white deoderant cans you usually find on the shelf. There is a little lid for the top of it and then it is a simple spray can like any other. I tend to have a shower before bed as I have two small children to organise in the morning so I use the spray immediately after my shower and find it dries quickly and leaves a pleasant fragrance. It is not my favourite fragrance in the world but it is nice enough that I have continued to wear it. It lasts all through the night with no stains on my black pj top. I tend to spray again in the morning out of habit but I did leave it a couple of days when I was staying at home without and it did last the entire day until my next shower.
We've had some pretty sunny days lately which is always the real test for me when you have young children to chase around the park or on long walks to the ducks and I've had no sweat patches, no feeling wet moments or none of that "Oh no, why didn't I bring a little deoderant with me?" moments. It's kept me smelling fresh whilst running around all afternoon which is what I look for.
Right guard say it has triple stain protection -
no yellow stains? Check
No oily stains? Check
No white marks? Check.
So overall, I really like this new deoderant. The only improvement I could suggest upon is the fragrance but it isn't enough that it would put me off. I would definitely recommend this to other people whether they are active or not, as it's left my clothes looking fresh and me feeling fresh.
