I am reviewing Sanex dermo extra control anti-persperant deoderant I have had this Sanex rollon deoderant in my handbag for ages so I think I will share my thoughts on this product with you all. The product Sanex extra control roll on deoderant comes in a 50ml plastic container,it is in a opaque plastic with a royal blue pull off lid ,well it looks like a lid , but actually it is the roll on part this has a white ball top . It has the word sanex in white on a blue background It is so much easier to use a roll on than a spray ,in my opinion .It is easier to get it where it is needed . If the roller ball has stuck a little, perhaps with not using it for a while ,just give it a little push with your finger ,it will soon be working again . On their website it tells you that it is suitable for all skin types And that this formula with Micro Talc works effectively with the skin to control wetness for fresh, dry underarms all day long, whilst letting skin breath and preventing body odours. The deodorant is dermatologically tested and contains 0% alcohol. Ingredients: AQUA , ALUMINUM CHLOROHYDRATE , GLYCERIN , PPG-15 STEARYL ETHER , STEARETH-2 , CYCLOPENTASILOXANE , STEARETH-21 , PARFUM , TALC , DIMETHICONE , BHT . I have found this deoderant to be very effective and lasts all day ,it has a faint perfume but not enough to overpower . My 50ml deoderant has been used for about 3 weeks and still feels pretty full . The price in Tesco today is just 87 p so very reasonable I would recommend this as an affordable deoderant and it an ideal size to pop in your handbag I will award Sanex Derm extra control roll on deoderant 5 stars
I am currently using three different deodorants because I find I want different things from each of them depending on what I am doing. I have a roll on anti-perspirant for the times that I am going to be working up a sweat as a simple deodorant won't deal with wet patches. I have a spray for the times I want to freshen up quickly on the go and a crystal stick deodorant for every other occasion as it is cheap to use. I run out of the first kind quickest and not being brand loyal, I went to find whatever might be on offer. As a result I purchased Sanex Dermo Extra Control anti-perspirant deodorant while it was available for half price in Sainsbury's - the normal price there is £1.49 for 50ml. I have tried other Sanex deo's before and found them only so-so I am relieved to say that this one actually works! WHAT IT CLAIMS TO DO Sanex say that their anti-perspirant deodorant provides 48 hour protection which sounds impressive but I feel that it is a claim made by a great number of brands now for their products. I think it is the sort of boast that will rarely be tested by the average user but it does mean that I think there would be no excuse for failing to perform from morning to evening on one day. The product is also supposed to offer "moisturisation", and to allow your skin to breathe. It does not contain alcohol which is a feature I look for as I find these products tend to be more comfortable to use after shaving the under arms. I wouldn't of course use any product on sore or broken skin. THE BOTTLE While the packaging of deodorants isn't usually something I think about, the bottle of this one is a little different. It looks normal at first - a bit fat and with a blue rounded lid. The rounded "lid" is actually the base of the deodorant tube, so when you take it off you are left holding the upside down roll on. It looks a bit like an egg in cup to me but it works quite well! The deodorant head stays moist and ready to use because it is always stored upside down and the product flows down to the tip. It doesn't make a mess in the base though. ROLL ON The roll on top is larger than many I have used and it moves smoothly. This makes it quick and pleasant to apply, although I do feel that it leaves my under arms wetter than normal initially. This took a bit of getting used to for me as I felt that I was damper than I should be. However, I have got used to that but I still find it takes longer to dry than most similar products. I don't really feel happy to dress until 15-20 minutes have elapsed. I may be over cautious but I believe that this roll on made a white mark under each arm on a dark blue coloured top when I rushed the drying stage. So I don't want to mark anything else. It does live up to my expectations as being a good product to use after shaving as it doesn't sting and feels genuinely gentle on my skin. The scent is quite unisex in my opinion, in a stereotypical sense. [I have the Micro Talc fragrance.] It is fruity or floral but reminds me of talc and slightly more strangely, a Neutradol air freshener spray! It isn't unpleasant but quite strong and I can clearly smell it on my skin by the end of the day. It isn't great for wearing with other scented products for that reason in my opinion. DOES IT WORK? Yes, as both an anti- perspirant and a deodorant. I feel confident wearing this and I haven't suffered any unwanted odour or unsightly damp patches by the end of a working day, even when I have been doing thing such as forking soil and carrying heavy loads. I haven't used it in the summer months yet but I have high hopes that it will perform well due to how well it has handled my more strenuous activities now! I don't think it has moisturised my under arms at all, but it certainly hasn't left them in any worse condition. As for letting my skin breathe, I can't judge that easily myself. I do know that my under arms don't feel at all sticky during the day and I am not really aware of the deodorant once it is on, unless I catch a whiff of it. If it took less time to dry and hadn't left a white mark on occasion, I would rate this higher. It isn't perfect but it does a good job at the main things I want in this sort of product - it doesn't make me feel, look or smell sweaty. I wouldn't recommend this if you want a light scented deodorant or a fast drying one, but otherwise I think it is a good value buy. I have got through the bottle a little faster than I would another of a similar size, I think because a fair amount comes out on each roll due to the wide head. Having said that, it often available in the pound shops, as I discovered after buying it in Sainsbury's, so the potential low starting price makes up for that a little. Otherwise you can buy it in the usual places such as Boots and Superdrug.
When it comes to deodorants, I always tend to stick with Sure as they are a good quality brand and I have always been relatively happy with their range. Recently, I have found that some of their newer deodorants just do not live up to their past ranges, and I wanted to try out some other brands. I had never really heard much of Sanex other than the brand name, and as I needed a new roll on deodorant, I just picked this one up off the shelf and thought I'd give it a whirl. The cost of this is very reasonable, and I would say quite an average price for something of this nature. I paid around £1.50 for it which I think is good, and I find that roll ons tend to last me much longer than sprays. This deodorant is available in supermarkets, drugstores and pharmacies so it is quite easy to get hold of. As you can see in the image, it is a fairly basic roll on with no frills added. The reason I think I have never been attracted to this brand is because it seems so basic and simple with fairly dull packaging. However, I was hoping this was just hiding a brilliant product underneath. The first handy thing which I have found about this compared to other roll ons is its clever little design. It stands up perfectly because there is a solid base on it, and you pull the deodorant out of the top (the blue part), and when you are done it just pops back into the base. This is really handy and a clever design - also as the deodorant is stored upside down it means all the moisture will at the tip for when you are ready to apply it. There is a good grip on the roll on itself making it easy to apply. When using this deodorant, I found that when you apply it to your underarms, it appears to be quite wet in consistency. At first I thought this was a good thing, as it meant my underarms were definitely getting product all over them. However, this slowly became a problem because the only thing I don't like about this deodorant is the fact it takes a while to dry into the skin after application, due to it being so wet. I would not say it is a huge issue, but if you are in a rush or planning on wearing black tops, it's worth taking into consideration! There is no particular scent to this roll on, and it is more of a talc, clean scent. The scent described is 'Micro Talc' and I think it is nice because it is not overpowering for your underarms. If you are someone into strong scents though, do avoid this as I am sure it is not to everyone's tastes. Maybe the reason behind the talc scent is because the roll on contains 0% alcohol and is good for sensitive underarms. Mine can be sensitive sometimes, and I have experienced no problems at all with this roll on, so it is worth looking at if you have sensitive skin. The product claims to last 48 hours. When I read about products that claim this, I never really believe it. I have never even found a deodorant that has lasted the full 24 hour claims. However, I was not willing to put the 48 hour challenge to the test, as I make sure I apply deodorant at least once or twice every day. I am happy to say that this deodorant is really, really effective. I can not believe what I have been missing out on by sticking to the same brand for years and years. It kept my underarms dry all through the day and still smelt fresh at the end of the day. I was really impressed with the results, and I could not have asked for more from this roll on. Overall, I would definitely recommend this roll on to everyone as it is just so effective and delivers brilliant results. This is effective for anyone who worries about deodorants not lasting throughout the full day as well as being suitable for sensitive skin. I would love to award this five stars, but I am dropping one off just because application can get a little messy as it is so wet. Thanks for reading.
There are very few things, cosmetics/toiletries-wise, that I am brand loyal to. With shower gels, make up, conditioners etc I will generally either buy one that is on offer or one that I've read good reviews of and don't tend to stick to one in particular. An exception to this is when it comes to deodorant. I am very very attracted by particular fragrances so when it comes to deodorant I always stick to either Nivea or this Sanex Dermo Extra Control. As a rule I always prefer the fresher range of smells when it comes to things that I put on my skin rather than anything too fruity or floral and both Nivea and Sanex fit the bill perfectly so whenever I see either of them on offer I always stock up. A few months ago I found this Sanex on offer at only 99p each for the 50ml tube of it instead of the usual £1.50 RRP so I picked up a few to put in the cupboard. As I do tend to buy in bulk I never run out of deodorant, but if I did, to be honest I would still only buy either of these two even if they weren't on offer. But as these tubes last me a couple of months usually 99p isn't a bad price at all! The Sanex deodorant is readily available and wherever you find a shop selling these kind of products you will usually find the Sanex too. I have yet to come across a deodorant that 'stands out' on a shelf becuase of it's packaging, they all tend to be pretty much of a muchness really. This one doesn't really stand out either. It comes in two parts; a translucent white-ish base part and a blue lid. Well, I say lid but it is actually the blue part that houses the deodorant stick and the whiter part is the lid, despite it being on the bottom of the tube (if you look at the picture it might give you a better idea of what I mean!). The labelling states that this gives extra control, contains micro talc (how much more micro can talc get than a fine white powder??), that it doesn't contain alcohol and that it lasts for up to 48 hours. On the back is the usual company contact information, list of ingredients and, importantly for me, the fact that the packaging can be recycled after use. Bonus point to Sanex. To get into the Sanex you have to hold the whiter part and twist the blue part which then comes out easily. The deodorant dispenser ball is located in the top (or rather bottom, when it's all put together properly) of the blue part and to use it you simply raise your arm and rub the ball part over your armpit a couple of times. My experiences. On first opening and using the Sanex I started to get slightly frustrated as it seemed to take an inordinately long time for any of the creamy product to actually work it's way on the ball so it could be transferred to my underarm. I seemed to be standing there for ages until it finally came through. That, however, is where my complains with this Sanex deodorant end. The fragrance that comes through as soon as you take the lid off is beautiful, just like the Sanex shower gel. It's a really nice clean and fresh smelling product with a slight hint of citrus in the background and all of those are transferred onto your skin when you use it. As soon as I spread this deodorant onto my underarms it immediately makes me feel fresh and, more importantly, makes me feel like I smell fresh too! It goes on easily and only takes 2 or 3 rolls under each arm to give good, longlasting coverage. Some people prefer sprays when it comes to deodorant but I've always preferred roll-ons. This one particularly doesn't leave any white marks on darker clothes and although roll-ons do tend to take longer to dry than sprays this doesn't really bother me as I tend to put this on then 'do my face' then get dressed, so my natural routine allows for drying time anyway. I always feel like the creamier consistency of roll-ons provide more of a barrier to any sweat that might be trying to work it's way through too - probably me just being silly, but it gives me added peace of mind! So how does this Sanex perform during the day? Well I, personally, am very impressed with it. I'm quite active and either walk or cycle most days, even if it's only into town and back, and this combined with all the daily home tasks, especially in the warmer weather recently means I like a strong smelling deodorant that lasts a while and I don't want to have to be reapplying through the day. My Sanex deodorant performs well and definitely leaves me feeling reassured that I am smelling fresh. Obviously on really strenuous bike rides or walks that involve climbing mountains there is going to be a limit to how well any deodorant performs, but at the end of such an activity, whilst I might not be feeling as fresh as when I started, I don't feel like I stink either! As to whether the claims that this can last up to 48 hours are true I can't really comment. Personally I don't know why any company would go out of their way to either make a deodorant that lasts this long or to make these claims as there are very few people I know that don't shower or bath every day and I, certainly, would never go 48 hours without showering. Even if there was the odd occasion that I didn't shower one day I would still, automatically, reapply deodorant in the morning so would never put the claims to the test. The only slight (and this is me being very picky for the purpose of reviewing!) issue with this deodorant could be that the bottom of the packaging (effectively the lid but upside down) is a bit of overkill really. I've never seen such a big lid on any other brand of deodorant so I'm not sure what purpose such a big one has here. It seems to me to be a bit of a waste of plastic. But, as the whole thing can be recycled after use I suppose this isn't as environmentally annoying as it would have been were those two little inverted arrows missing from the label (label or lable?? I never know!). All in all I am very happy with this deodorant. I like the price of it on offer, although at full price it's still not too extortionate, I LOVE the smell of it, so clean smelling, quite zingy and refreshing to use and I like that it leaves me feeling as though I smell nice all through the day without feeling the need to reapply it. It is a product that I buy over and over again and would recommend it if, like me, you like the fresher spectrum of fragrances. I will happily give this deodorant 5 stars. PS: It's only while I've been writing this review that I've realised that it's de-odor-ant, duh! I'd never separated the different syllables before to realise that the word 'odor' is in there. Hard to believe I have a degree isn't it?!!!
I tend to buy this deodorant because it is cheap. It can be found in most pound shops and supermarkets and it is usually on offer. And for such an inexpensive deodorant, I am mainly impressed with it. Firstly, I like the shape of the container. It's nice and palm size and more rounded than other roll on deodorants, making it a nice size to carry in your bag. Secondly, there is a wide variety of scents that you can get with this brand. I tend to go for the invisible or the sensitive options, as they smell very nice and do exactly what their name suggests; leaves no white marks and is very gentle on your underarms. I also love that this is a very reliable deodorant yet it is so cheap. I recommend it to most of my friends who want a good deodorant to carry around with them. I have had two issues with this deodorant though, and they are most probably linked. Firstly I find that it dries out very easily, leaving (secondly) the roller ball very hard to use. Once it dries up a little it is very hard to roll under your underarms, often it won't roll at all, and this is after having the item for just a short while. However, at the price you pay for it, it doesn't pain me to go and buy some more when this happens.
I usually buy Sanex's Dermo invisible roll on (the pink one) as it is the best deodorant that I have ever tried, unfortunately it wasn't available when I went to buy some so I had to opt for what looked to be the next best thing, Sanex Dermo Extra Control (the blue one). Just going on names, this one sounds like the more effective product, so I had high hopes. It lived up to them! It is just as effective as my trusty pink version, I can't say if it more effective as I only began to use it last month so don't know how well it would work on hot summer days, but it seems to be just as good as my usual deodorant. I adore Sanex deodorant as usually, you roll/spray deodorant on in a morning, then completely forget you are wearing it. When you roll this deodorant on you instantly smell nicer (it is just a fresh, clean scent rather than any particular fragrance), you then have a slight scent of it lingering throughout the day. But it's when you get hot and/or sweaty, that this product really shines. I've noticed that as soon as I start to feel a little warm, I get a lovely whiff of this deodorant. It is like the heat activates it or something - amazing! This deodorant contains 'Micro Talc' which is supposed to control wetness. I don't think that I've ever got to the stage of 'wetness' when using this deodorant, although have been quite warm yet have always remained 'fresh' and dry. Sanex Dermo Extra Control claims to be a 48 hour deodorant - quite impressive! It is very long lasting; maybe not 48 hours, but it does last for all of my 17 hour days. I do wake up feeling fresh so maybe it would last a little longer, I just wouldn't leave the house without using it so I guess we'll never know about that one! I am also pleased to say that when wearing this deodorant, you have no need to worry about the dreaded white marks. Now this is a reason I buy roll on rather than spray, as I think that spray tends to be worse for marks than roll on. The formula does not turn powdery like some brands do, and seems to disappear into the skin after about 5 mins. It is also dermatologically tested, and, 'works with skin whilst letting the skin breathe'. I don't know about all of that but it has always worked for my skin. I don't have sensitive skin or anything, but I am prone to dry skin and can honestly say that this deodorant has always left me skin feeling soft and well looked after. Sanex Dermo Extra Control is a great product and I would highly recommend it. It is widely available, and costs around £1-£1.49 depending on where you buy. If you cannot find this one, then do try Dermo Invisible as it is just as good and is around the same price. Overall - this is an amazing product, buy it now!!!!!
Sanex Dermo Extra Control Anti-Perspirant Deodorant can be bought at Morrisons for £1.25 you can find it on the toiletries section of the shop or you can buy it on amazon for £1.30 but you will have to pay for postage, which defeats the object of getting it cheaper online. It comes in a neat little white plastic roll on container with a dark blue lid there is a thick clear liquid inside, which is easy to use and has a twist off cap so there's less risk of spillage. Although if you leave the top off the product it will dry up quickly. Sanex make lots of beuty products from anti-perspirants to shower gels and they are for people with sensative skin. The roll on anti-perspirant has been dematalogically tested and is good for your skin, it helps it to breath whilst protecting you from sweating. It is much better than a spray anti-perspirant as it goes on smoothly the only thing about it is that you have to wait a few minutes for it to dry before putting clothes on as it will stick to your top. Otherwise it worths quite effectively. It doesn't mark your clothes if you let it dry before getting dressed, unlike like some anti-perspirants and can be carried around in your handbag, for ease of use. It does last quite a while during the course of the day and it will keep you dry and fresh. The thing about an anti-perspirant is that it stops you perspiring, an anti deodorant stops you from smelling by nutralising the smell, so this stops you sweating altogether by blocking the pores of the skin by putting a layer of the liquid which drys on to your skin. The scent of Sanex is the same as all the other Sanex products. The fragrance of the deodorant is a very pleasant and fresh scent a little hard to discribe, not strong and doesn't linger but works doing its job all day. You will only need one application in the morning ad another in the evening after showering if you are going out. You shouldn't apply this to irritated or damaged skin as it will irritate and sting, if you happen to do this wash it off straight away. All in all I'd say this is the best deodrant I've used and I always buy it when I go to shop as it is in a handy sized bottle, it is cheap enough for my budget and it is gentle on the skin. not only this but it really works well at stopping you sweat. You can get lots of other Sanex anti-perspirants but this one is the one I always buy.
This is my favourite make for skincare. I have never been disappointed with the quality of any of these products such as the shower gels, bath creme and deodrants. If you have sensitive/dry or even normal skin this product is great. The bottle itself is small and very compact so very handy and discreet for a handbag for example. It goes on nicely and quite creamy though leaves you feeling clean and refreshed rather than sticky, it also smells nice and subtle which in my opinion is all you want from a deodrant. I really cannot express the quality in sanex products and feel with the whole range you cannot go wrong as they are all fairly priced and if you shop around you can usually find them on offer in certain stores. (especially big supermarkets) So to say the least these products are great value for money and are fabulous quality.
-Introduction- After a news programme on the TV about the dangers to health and the environment of spray deoderants, I thought I would give a roll-on a try. I think they were on offer 2 for a £1. But they retail around £1.40 I think. I choose this roll-on as it was 'dermo' so I thought great for sensitive skin and extra control, becuase I know people say roll-on's are less effective than sprays. -Positives- This design is small and neat. The roll on is fitted onto a dark blue holder and it contained inside a clear plastic lid which kind of screws on. This means no mess. Great! The deoderant didn't really have much of a smell, as such, it wasn't too feminine and overpowering. Some people may like more of a smell I guess, but this suited me just fine! The design is small and compact and so can easily be popped into a handbag. The roll on mechanism itself is great. It doesn't 'stick' and won't roll, like some other makes I have tried. It glides smoothly over the skin. None of the white marks you get with some sprays. -Negatives- But, I find the roll gives too much liquid on application and leaves a thick film when I try and put it away. A little bit gross in my opinion. I find that it takes AGES to dry on the underarms after application. (Think windmill and your there!) Its quite sticky and not very nice. It does not give adequate protection compared with an anti-perspirant spray, it lasts a couple of hours and needs reapplying. Just not practical for me. -Conclusion- It just didnt stand up to the performance of spray on deoderants. I would happily use a roll-on if it worked, but this just didnt.
When it comes to anti-perspirants there are two types of people: those who prefer roll ons and those that prefer sprays. I am in the former category. They may take longer to dry, less convienient while out and about but I feel I stay fresher for longer than I do with sprays. My previous brand of choice was Sure, but when I saw this product on sale at my local tesco for £1 (for a 50ml container) I thought it was worth giving it a go. I have heard good things about Sanex and assumed them to be a trusted, well-known brand. What also attracted me to the product was that it claimed to work for 48hrs. Not that I tend to go this long without using deoderant or showering but it is comforting to know that it should be working until you do get to shower/ apply deoderant next. The product comes in a plastic container as with most anti-perspirants. A part of the design that I do like is that is essentially upside down: the ball of the roll-on faces downwards when the product is stood up meaning that all the liquid inside is collecting at the ball. More importantly, it has a gentle scent: it is nice without being too over-powering. It smells clean and thanks to the micro talc technology it has hint of talc without smelling powdery. This micro talc technology is supposed to help with wetness. However, as someone who exercises regularly it does not hold up when you have just done an intense workout. The scent though does last a long time - seemingly getting stronger when I get warm - though I can't confirm the 48hr claim. It does keep me feeling fresh until I next apply the product and/ or go for a shower that much I can say. Even waking up the next day after a long, hot night I can still smell this on my skin. This isn't something I can say for all anti-perspirants on the market. I have definitely been converted away from Sure and to Sanex now. Another issue that I find with some anti-perspirants is the drying effect it can have on your skin. However, I have found this product to be nothing but kind. It contains no alcohol and claims to allow your skin to breath. I can't contest against this claim as I have always found it to be kind to my skin. Also the product does not leave the deaded white marks on your clothes and dries quite quickly compared to others. Overall, I find this product to be of excellent quality at a great price. I have found this in some budget shops selling beauty products for £1. For something that works as well as this product and lasts a good while I have to say that is a bargain. The quality of this product easily surpasses other brands and seems to do the job it is meant to do. I wish I had found it sooner. Sanex do also have a range of spray anti-perspirants for those of you who prefer sprays.
Sanex is a range that has been out for some time now.they make "skin friendly" deodorants, bath products and shower products. The product I am going to review is Sanex Dermo Protector roll on deodorant. I try to be careful about the products I use on my skin, as I suffer from eczema. Occasionaly in the past, I have had skin reactions under my arms from using deodorants. Sanex claims to be effective, whilst repecting and protecting healthy skin, so i decided to give it a go. I'm not a big fan of roll on deoderants, preferring the dry stick type, like soft and gentle. Sanex roll on comes in a handy sized white plastic container with a screw off lid. The container is a perfect size to put in a sports bag, or even a handbag. It would be really useful to take with you to use after showering at a gym or leisure centre. It costs less than £2 and is widely available most shops, like Wilkinsons. The product itself is colourless. I'm not bowled over by the scent, which is too masculine for my taste. That is the trouble with products that are marketed as unisex. They are inevitably going to small a bit "manly". The only way I can describe it is a mix of soap and aftershave. It is a fresh scent, but definitely one for the blokes. The roller glides over my skin easily, with no irritation. As with all roll ons, I do have to do a chicken dance, while it dries, but it does seem to dry a little quicker than other roll ons I have tried. I am pleased that Sanex does not irritate my skin. I have used it for several months now, with no problems, and that is really good for me, as my skin reacts to most things I put on it! As a deoderant I find it very effective too, having no breakthrough wetness, even when I have been wearing it all day. I would say it works for 24 hours on me, although the packaging makes no claims as to how long it works. I am quite surprised to see that this product is made by Sara Lee. They make cakes don't they? I'm not sure what the magic ingredient is in this product that makes it skin friendly, but in my case, it does seem to be. Scanning the list of ingredients, I do notice some nasties that may irritate some people, such as Aluminium, Ether and Perfume. There have been health warnings in the media about the use of Aluminium in deodorants, but most of them still use it as a main ingredient. Maybe somewhere down the line, we will see the full implications of this. Overall, this is a good little, deo that does its job well, but I prefer something that smells a bit more girlie, and a product that dries on contact, so I don't have to do a chicken dance!
I've been using the sensitive version of this deodorant for some time now but when it came to replace my now empty roll-on, I noticed that there is a stronger version designed for 'extra control', so I decided to try that one out as I'd begun to notice that the sensitive one didn't seem quite strong enough for me at times. ***USING THE DEODORANT*** When you apply the roll-on, it goes on fairly clearly with a hint of white, but hasn't resulted in any dreaded white marks on my clothes. There is a light, fresh smell attached to the deodorant but it's not an overpowering smell and doesn't clash with perfumes or body spray and doesn't particularly linger either. Depending on how much is applied, it can take a while to dry. Even if I only apply a bit, I often find that it takes up to five minutes to dry and it can take even longer than this if you've applied more. Obviously if you're in a rush, this can be quite irritating as it means having to wait around for the deodorant to fully dry, and like most anti-perspirants, it isn't half as effective if it's not allowed to dry properly so this is a minus point for me. ***DOES IT WORK?*** For an anti-perspirant, this is the all-important question. In comparison to the sensitive deodorant that I was using before, I have noticed an improvement in terms of how dry my underarms are but if I'm rushing around, this doesn't last for too long and I'm back to having slightly damp underarms again. If you're having a leisurely time, you'll probably find that it's effective enough but if like me, you tend to sweat just that little bit more than is probably considered average, it starts to become redundant after rushing around the shops or similar so in that sense, I'm wondering where the 'extra control' is! For that reason, I'm downgrading my star rating to a three-star as I feel that the deodorant falls down in that respect.
