This antiperspirant has a lovely fresh, feminine scent and is exceptionally good at preventing white marks. I have used this antiperspirant when wearing black dresses and there has been no trace of white marks. This is extremely satisfying and takes the hassle out of having to check for marks throughout the day. It has 24 hour protection and so far it has stood up to this claim!
The scent is different to any other antiperspirant I have used before and is not over powering. It has great staying power as you can still smell the scent throughout the day. It is not sticky or tacky, it has a more powder feel to it.
I would recommend this product to everyone, especially those with sensitive skin as I am prone to skin rashes under my arms and this product has not caused this at all. Overall, I am very impressed with this product and will be repurchasing when I finish the current bottle.
I normally use Sure and for the last few months I have bought the compressed cans. I noticed in the last month or so that I have been getting sweaty under my arms something I haven't had before with Sure so I decided to change my anti antiperspirant. I picked a can of this spray up for 99p in Morrisons last week. It was half price and contains 150ml of spray.
The can is very unexciting it has a pink/purple lid and the packaging is white with some blue on the front.
The can tells me that this is an antiperspirant which is effective for up to 24 hours. The packaging also tells me this is anti white marks.
On the back of the can I can see that this product is designed to actively work with the skin to give protection from odour and wetness by helping to control bacteria which cause smells while also allowing your skin to breathe.
The first time I used this I was surprised by the smell. I wasn't expecting anything too powerful but this smells really floral. It isn't an unpleasant smell but not one I would choose had the packaging given an indication of the scent.
The aerosol sprays evenly and it didn't come out powdery which is something I have experienced with other brands. The smell is powerful and I can still smell this hours after I have applied it. The good news is it seems to have resolved the problem I was having with wetness. I am now confident to go back to wearing t shirts I haven't worn for a few weeks.
I would recommend this antiperspirant the smell isn't great but it is effective at keeping me dry and it lasts the whole day.
4 out of 5 I am not overly keen on the smell.
I bought this anti perspirant after many years using roll on and finding that I started to dislike the smells of them, they also made my armpits feel really sticky which made me feel very unclean so I needed to change.
I spotted this deodorant on offer for £1 so thought I'd give it a try.
The deodorant claims to
*Have effective protection for 24 hours
*Work against odour causing bacteria
*Respect the skin's bacterial flora- whilst still avoiding white marks on clothing, which is it's main selling point hence the name.
The deodorant comes in a while spray can with the logo clearly shown and a pink lid. I don't know whether I would have been interested by looking at this branding had it not been on offer. It did have a 'new' sticker on the lid which may attract others to give it a go but this normally doesn't entice me.
As far as using the deodorant goes, it's been great, and has so far done everything it says it will I believe! It has a fresh clean smell that is not overpowering like some spray deodorants I've used and doesn't make me cough! It doesn't sting my armpits after I've shaved them, another unpleasant side effect I've had from many deodorants- leaving them red and itchy! And so far it has lived up to it's name and not stained or marked any of my clothing!
I can use this in the morning and don't feel like I need to re use unless I have been using the treadmill or it's been a particularly warm day and I want to freshen up, even then the deodorant holds out and keeps me smelling fresh and not running for cover whenever anyone comes near me!
I will definately buy this again, hopefully it'll be back on offer soon! Price seems to be £1.99 it most stores.
Mum stocked up on a load on deodorants, and she likes to send me off with something when I've visited. On this occasion it was a can of Sanex Anti-perspirant, I see in Tesco it costs £1.80 for 150ml and £2.50 for 250ml so not a particularly cheap one (compared to some anyway).
The tin is neat, not much bigger than a body spray. It's white with a pink removable lid, and is labelled 'Sanex dermo invisible, anti perspirant 24hr, 0% alcohol' it says it minimises white marks and keeps skin healthy. The back of the tin tells us that it has 'Dermo Active 3 Complex which offers 3 benefits- protection for 24hrs- moisturisation- Balance to allow your skin to breathe'. We're directed to only spray onto healthy skin, shake and spray 15cm from underarm.
It smells nice it's very floral, although strong when initially sprayed on it does die down but is still detectable for the duration. The anti perspirant has a good thick wide spray, so I only need to give myself one blast. I've been wearing it all week but have put some on now for this review. It seems to go on dry, I don't need to wait to get dressed. Feeling my underarms now though they do feel a bit greasy but it's not transferring to my clothes, perhaps that's the moisturisation aspect of it. It doesn't leave white marks and I can't see it on my skin, so it's invisibility claim seems to be true.
Being an anti perspirant it should keep you dry and I think it does, don't know about the 24hr protection but I haven't smelt of body odour all week so I suppose that claim could be true- although I haven't done anything strenuous and have not been hot or sweaty but for average control it's been successful.
There hasn't been any irritation whilst using Sanex, I don't think I have sensitive skin but some anti perspirants do irritate me and upto now this one has been fine.
Would I recommend?
Yes, but will give it 4 stars because it feels tacky for ages- well for the whole time of wearing really. It's not uncomfortable though and am only aware of it when I feel it with my fingers.
Sanex Dermo Invisible Anti-Perspirant Deodorant
I had recently found that my usual favourite deodorant was not working as effectively as it once had for one reason or another and decided to seek out a new anti-perpsirant. I had not tried any other Sanex products before this Dermo Invisible deodorant but have read glowing reviews on here and decided to buy a bottle.
The deodorant comes in both a roll on and aerosol bottle, I went for the latter preferring these to the liquid form. These are available in 100 ml and 250 ml bottles and I bought the larger being better value for money and longer lasting. The aerosol bottle is a tall and thin cylinder with a slight indent in the upper half. The bottle has a see through pink plastic cap that you pull off when in use, this keep the noddle dust free and protects the deodorant from shooting off in your bag.
The top of the bottle has a large push down spray that releases the deodorant, the bottle is an overall white colour with the blue Sanex branding and some pink banner of information across the bottle. It looks very much like all the other deodorants on the shelf, but I like that it has its own removable cap.
The Sanex Dermo Invisible is advertised as being e a no white mark anti-perspirant deodorant and it does exactly that. I use this anti-perspirant every morning after my shower. The aerosol is really light and airy when you spray it, which should be from around a 15 - 20 cm distance from your underarm to get the optimum application. There is hardly any noise when you spray this compared to other aerosols I have used, which is likely to do with the ingredients inside. I also find it does not sting or feel icy cold which is a great bonus on a chilly winters morning.
The scent of this is quite plain and airy and fresh, which is exactly what I like in a deodorant, I am really not bothered about fragrances as I use perfumes for this, my main concern is it keeping me fresh and dry all day long. This is meant to provide 24 hour protection and for me it does keep me feeling fresh and comfortable all day, if I get home from work and am going out again I will refresh my application but only to make myself feel better as this really does keep me feeling dry and smelling good all day.
This deodorant also has the added bonus of being kind and good to your skin, as it has moisturising properties and balance to help your skin breath rather than trapping and masking sweat. I can't find any faults with this deodorant and will be trying the other varieties out too.
This currently retails at £2.59 at Boots for a 250 ml bottle but I picked up my bottle for half price which is very good value for such a good anti-perspirant, so it is worth looking out for offers. Highly recommended!
When I'm buying deodorants one thing I always like them to do apart from being an effective anti-perspirant is to not leave white marks on my clothes. I hate it when I put a black top on after I've used deodorant and it leaves white marks all up the sides meaning I have to find a old pair of tights to rub all the marks off with. So much easier to use a deodorant like this one, I've been using the Sanex brand either the roll on or the spray for years now and really like it.
The spray comes in 150ml and 250ml cans which is standard when compared to other brands. It is shaped about 1/4 of the way down which makes it comfortable to hold when using the spray. This deodorant has a lid which I find annoying as it just gets in the way, I never worry that it is going to accidently get depressed when it's not on so I tend to throw them away.
It is easy to depress this spray and control how much you use. I'm not that keen on a lot of excess product and this one is better than others I've tried at not spraying half the room as well as my armpit.
It keeps my dry for the 24 hours that it promises to and leaves the skin under my arms in good condition. There is no alcohol in this product which is good as that can be drying to the skin.
This deodorant is dermatologically tested and I have never suffered any irritation from using it.
Price and availability
I usually buy mine when I doing my grocery shopping at Tesco. The 150ml currently (March 2013) costs £1 at Tesco with the 250ml setting you back £2. These are both offer prices and I think provide good value for money, I always try and buy it on offer where I can.
Would I recommend?
Yes, this is a great deodorant which leaves you feeling dry and fresh all day. It's kind to your skin and doesn't leave white marks on your clothes.
I made a bit of an error the last time I bought deodorant and bought one whose scent I wasn't sure about. After a week or two of usage, I decided I hated the smell, and so I had to buy some more.
Like everyone else, money is tight, and so I had to buy something which was on offer. Sainsbury's had this Sanex Deodorant Invisible on sale for half-price.
To be honest I think the main reason I had never purchased Sanex products before was because I find the packaging really rather dull, and to be honest it has maybe put me off in the past.
This comes in a white bottle with a pink plastic lid, and the blue Sanex logo on the front. It's not eye-catching and the only reason I saw it was because I was purposely looking in the part of the aisle where all the offers were.
This comes in 250ml and 150ml bottles.
The packaging advises that this will be effective for 24 hours, minimises white marks, and will moisturise your skin.
This deodorant has a very fresh, slightly floral scent. I could smell this throughout the day which made me feel like it was really helping to keep me deodorised. I put some on before going to work, and didn't need to spray anymore during my 8 hour working day. While the bottle says this will be effective for 24 hours, I would never leave it that long before putting deodorant on, so I can't confirm nor deny this! What I would say is that it certainly lasted as long as any deodorant I have ever tried.
I put a black top on after spraying this, and it left no white marks. It also does not turn powdery or chalky after spraying it, which is one of the things I hate most in a deodorant.
I can't really say whether it left my underarms moisturised - this isn't something I really check - although it didn't burn or irritate my skin, even after shaving.
This normally costs around £2.50 for a 250ml bottle, but I got it for half price in Sainsbury's. I think £1.25 is a brilliant price for a deodorant, and I don't think I would be too upset at having to pay the full price, as I was impressed with this product. The 150ml bottle was selling for a bargainous 90p, and usually costs £1.80.
WOULD I BUY THIS AGAIN?
Yes. While I usually plump for items on offer these days rather than being brand loyal, I will bear this deodorant in mind for the next time I need some. I will definitely be continuing to buy this while it remains on offer.
If you have sensitive skin, especially under your arms, and find some spray deoderants quite harsh then try this one by Sanex.
It comes in a few different smells with different coloured lids, this one is the invisible version. It comes out of the can clear and unlike other antipersperants it dries clear as well with no white marks.
To use just remove the cap, then press lightly on the top, holding it well away from you and not spraying towards your face, as it can give you a tickly throat and isnt good for you.
It claims to protect, balance and moisturise. Im not sure about the moisturising part as I feel that brands like Dove do this a lot better and are more noticeable. It does protect your skin as it does not get sore like with other sprays, and balance well balance what its doing a job and it works reasonably well.
Afterwards there is a lingering fruity flowery smell, it smells clean and fresh and the air around you feels quite thick so dont apply too much. Do not apply in an enclosed space either as I have done this and felt a bit dizzy.
It does stop you sweating, but if you sweat heavily during exercise it does not really work well. It lasts for around half a day to a day depending on what your doing and then needs reapplying. It does not irritate your armpits, and does not clog up the pores either.
I usually only buy the large can when its on special offer, though recently it was 2 for £3 at Tesco which is well worth it I think as a large can lasts me around a month with daily use.
Being an active mum I need to find myself a good quality deodorant, running around after the kids isn't easy and relaxing. It certainly doesn't take long to build up a sweat.
Being a mum of 3 on a tight budget I must admit I do love a bargain and am happy to buy items that are on promotion. This is when I came around this Sanex, dermo invisible anti-perspirant deodorant in Tesco for the low price of £1.25 for a 150ml can.
Sanex claim that this minimises white marks and will keep skin healthy with its dermo active 3 technology. Dermo active 3 is there unique blend which gives full protection for up to 24 hours, moisturises for healthier looking and feeling skin also with a balance which will allow your skin to breathe.
What do I think of the product?
For the price I was expecting the bee's knees in deodorant and to be honest I don't think it was far off. It's in an easy to use spray can, certainly can't fault that.
I need to spray a nice amount to get the best effect from this deodorant. And like all others it needs to be sprayed around 25 cm away from the skin.
It has a nice subtle scent of freshness to it, it reminds me of clean washing to be honest, but it's not a bad scent that's for sure. It's a very calming, clean and natural scenting deodorant.
Ill spray first thing in the morning and will still feel freshness for the best part of the day, I believe it gives me protection for at least 8 hours a day, I wouldn't say it lives up to the expectations of 24 hours.
It may not last the full 24h but it does do what is says and allows the skin to breath, and doesn't leave a nasty residue on you.
I like this product but don't think I will purchase it unless I see it around the £1 mark again.
Overall a good working product that does the job even if it's not the full 24 hour protection it claims to provide.
I am always happy to try a different deodorant, so I buy whatever is on offer or new in the shops. A little while ago, I came across Sanex Dermo Invisible Anti-Perspirant deodorant in Savers for £1 for 250 ml. I bought the spray version, but it is also available as a roll-on. It claims to last for 24 hours so I decided to give it a try.
WHAT IT CLAIMS TO DO
The spray is both a anti-perspirant and a deodorant. As i mentioned above, it claims to offer 24 hour protection, whilst allowing your skin to breathe. It also claims to moisturise your skin, leaving it softer and smoother. Lastly, it minimises white masks.
I bought the version with a pinky mauve top. It doesn't seem to have a name for it's scent. The can looks much the same as any other spray, but I did find it easier to hold than some due to the fact there is a grove to accomodate your hand near the top. The cap comes off easily, to reveal the spray button. This is responsive, and delivers a good amount of the product at once, whilst still feeling gentle. I also liked the fact the spray works even if you aren't holding the can exactly upright, which makes it easier to apply. It continues to work efficiently even when the can is nearly empty.
USING THE DEODORANT
The spray feels cool and relatively pleasant when it hits your skin. My underarms do feel quite damp shortly after applying it though, and slightly sticky to the touch. It also takes a fair amount of time to dry - I don't feel that I can put a top on for at least 15-20 minutes. Once it has done that initial drying, the sticky feeling disappears and I am not aware that it's there, other than when I get a whiff of it's scent. The perfume is nice and fresh, and it reminds me of lemon sherbet after a time. It isn't too strong, but it does last most of the day.
Firstly, I will say that I have never come across a deodorant that lives up to it's claims of lasting for 24 hours, or longer. I suspect few people want to put this to the test for that long, but I think that if a product claims to last 24 hours, it should be effective for the 12 hours or so that I need it for. I found that this did work for the majority of the day, even when I was working outside, doing heavy digging in warm weather. However, after having applied it at around 7 am, I found it to have ceased working well by about 4 in the afternoon. I began to feel sticky under my arms, although I never got as far as developing a damp patch on my clothes thank goodness! I also felt that I was not smelling fresh any more, and I needed to change my top. This is obviously not going to last 24 hours for me. I am not someone that sweats a great deal either.
As for the claims that it leaves skin softer and smoother, I can't say that after using it for a month, I noticed any difference to the condition of my skin. It didn't cause any irritation or dryness though. It did leave a white mark on at least one t-shirt, which is especially disappointing considering how long I had to wait for it to dry. I noticed that the wording on the can states that using this "minimizes" white marks rather than guarantees that they will never appear. So to be fair, I must credit Sanex with the fact that the majority of my clothes did escape unscathed.
WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS?
I think the smell is nice, the can is easy to use, and the it works effectively as a deodorant for most of the day. Therefore I would say it is worth trying. However, if you were buying it because you needed a deodorant that would last 24 hours, then judging by my experience, I don't think it would be effective enough. I also wouldn't buy it for it's skin conditioning properties. For the price I paid I was happy enough, but I won't chose the brand over others in the future.

Now I know pretty much everyone is looking for that deodorant that actually does what it says and last 24 hours and doesn't leave marks. Well this product is as close as I have found. I started using Sanex a few years back as I have really bad skin and my deodorants kept making me itch. I tried Dove knowing they specialise in sensitive skin but I really didn't find the spray deodorants any good and I really don't like roll-ons. I came across Sanex by chance as it was on offer in Tesco so I bought it and I really don't by any other deodorant now.
The one I use now is the dermo invisible 'minimises white marks' - which I have to admit it doesn't but at least it last. Not necessarily 24 hours but it will last during the day even if I am quite active or it is quite hot. I put a generous amount on each morning and find it very effective in terms of white marks just don't spray when you're wearing black, which I think is pretty much the rule for most deodorants. I used to use the neutral one that and I think that one was actually better at not leaving white marks than this one.
The smell of all their deodorants is pretty pleasant very subtle which I like. I find a lot of deodorants small too much of flowers or perfume that when I spray them I feel like I am being choked, but these are very nice. Though admittedly they probably don't smell enough for some people my sister uses Dove and she still much prefers it over this one.
On the can it also claims that it has dermo active 3 and keeps skin healthy, I am not sure if this is true but I never get any rash of itch from this deodorant, even when I have forgotten that I have shaved my underarms this deodorant is pretty gentle that it doesn't matter.
The packaging is very simple white with an accent colour depending on what one you by, like this one it is pink, the natural one is skin coloured and there is another one that is blue. However they are the only three I know of. That is the downside to this make their in my opinion is not very much variety in what you can buy. They come in two sizes the larger one is 250ml and normally cost around £3 though they go on offer at buy one get one free quite a lot. There is a smaller one too either100ml or 150ml I can't remember but that normally £2.50 so I just buy the big one.
Overall I really like this product despite still leaving marks it only does it on black and normally the can last me quite a while. Though I use a fair amount of it in the morning I don't have to over use it and is you have sensitive skin I think this is one of the better deodorants out there.
This review is also on ciao under the same user name :)
When my usual Sure spray that I've been using for as long as I can remember stopped being effective, I decided to try other antiperspirants. Sanex was one I hadn't tried previously but I came across it on offer; whilst it still didn't work for me, these products work differently for everyone and it is one I'd recommend considering.
Sanex is a brand that specialises in skin care, being sensitive, kind and gentle to skin in order to keep it nourished and healthy. The Dermo Invisible spray is designed to stand out from the crowd by doing the aforementioned, plus keeping you dry and leaving no white marks. As a brand, it's one that I consider to be good quality with years of expertise, though it doesn't necessarily strike me as one of the leading brands when it comes to anti-perspirants.
This comes in a white canister with a pinky-purple plastic lid, with the blue/white Sanex logo clearly recognisable near the top. It doesn't look particularly modern, but it's still quite neat in design, if not a little old fashioned perhaps in comparison to some brands. The aerosol spray push-down mechanism is easy to use to get just the right amount out, and it's shaped for ease of use, being not too big or rigid that smaller hands struggle to use it.
This boasts the 'Dermo Active 3 Complex' to fulfill the claim of keeping your 'skin healthy'. It does this in the following ways : 1. 24 hour protection 2. Moisturises skin to leave it smoother and softer 3. Balances skin to allow it to breathe. So far, so good. This seems to tick a lot of boxes when you're looking for something to keep you dry but to be kind and healthy for your skin. It's also dermatalogically tested, which I would expect from such a brand for peace of mind. The added bonus is that it's supposed to do this without leaving those irritating white marks under your arms or on white clothes once it has dried, which is something I always tend to look for now in an anti-perspirant.
You use this as you would any other aerosol anti-perspirant. Shake well, hold 15cm from your underarm and spray, then leave to dry before dressing. I find that you get just the right amount out from each spray and it doesn't seem to need too long to dry. The spray leaves a sweet, almost talc like scent that's quite noticeable. I don't mind a fragrance with an anti-perspirant and because I didn't use too much of this I find it overpowering. If you prefer your sprays fragrance-free, however, this probably isn't the one for you.
I would agree that this doesn't leave white marks, and it does absorb fairly quickly so you needn't have to be flapping your arms about for ages before you can get changed. Having said that, I didn't find the 24 hour protection aspect to be effective for me in keeping my skin dry. It could be because I've found a lot of antiperspirants, including my trusty Sure spray that I've used for many years, to not be effective anymore, so I would recommend giving this a try for yourself because everyone's skin is different. This is really why I've given it 4 stars - it didn't work for me, but then again, nothing did at the time, but everything else about the spray was fairly promising so it's worth seeing if it works for you.
All in all, this is a good quality anti-perspirant that cares for your skin, gives up to 24 hour protection and doesn't leave white marks, so it's one to consider trying if you're looking for a new spray.
150ml is priced at £1.89 and the 250ml is priced at £2.69 (Boots)
Sanex dermo invisible 24hr anti-perspirant deodorant promises to minimise white marks and to keep you fresh smelling for 24hours...so does it?
Taking a step back, this deodorant is packaged fairly plainly with a colour scheme of white and muted fuchsia. There is no song and dance with the packaging and it fits neatly with the Sanex brand.
The canister, in my opinion, is the perfect size for keeping in your bag you take to work. This particular product is a spray on, and ideal for keeping for freshening up on long days at work.
I can't vouch for the 24 hour claims of this spray as I wouldn't trust any brand in the world to keep you fresh for so long, especially when you walk as much as I do. However I tend to apply this product in the morning and early evening and I don't feel like I smell horrible at any other time of the day.
The smell of this product is fresh, clean yet feminine at the same time - I would be quite happy to wear a body spray with the same fragrance. It is very obviously a female deodorant, which is something I personally prefer.
I have never experienced white marks whilst using this product and as someone who wears dark tops quite frequently, this is a definite plus point.
Sanex products can usually be found on offer at supermarkets or at pharmacists such as Boots. While it isn't an out of this world product, it does pretty much what it states on the tin, which is all you can ever hope for.
I saw Sanex on special offer in my local Superdrug and thought I'd give it a try. First impressions were good - it has a nice smell and there was no stinging when I used it on just shaved underarms. No sticky feeling and it dried really quickly. I have sensitive skin and so I was worried whether I'd start to itch, but Sanex caused me no problems at all. However, by the afternoon I was not as dry as I'd like. I hadn't been doing anything particularly strenous - a little light walking and office style work - so I was a bit disappointed. The deoderant function seemed to work well though as the scent was still there at the end of the day.
Perhaps I'm spraying too much, but I found that the standard bottle didn't last me as long as my usual brand. But I am used to solid or roll-on anti-perspirants, so, as I say, it may just be my inexperience.
I'd use it again, but only if it were on special offer and when I know that I'm not going to be doing anything too physically active.
I have tried a number of different deodorants over the years and can definitely say it is the best. I first tried this several years ago and - generally- use this one all the time. The only exception is if I cannot get it on offer, as I would say that it is a bit expensive full price. It is usually on offer every couple of months, so I tend to try and stock up at these times.
Sanex appeals to me because it sounds like it would be gentle on your skin, claiming it is 'demologically tested.' I would agree that it is nice and gentle on my skin.
It also claims to go on clear and leave no white marks. I have tried several brands that claim to do this, but this one actually works. In the several years I have used it I don't think it has left a single mark on my clothes. It does not flake off as white powder, like some deodorants tend to do, even if you apply it too close to the skin.
I would also say that a little goes a long way. You don't have to apply too much and- for me at least- it lasts all day. The can lasts quite a while if you are able to get away with using just a little.
I would recommend this product, but don't pay full price- shop around for offers!
Goes on clear and minimizes white marks /
