Having run out of my preferred brand of roll on deodorant (Mitchum), I grabbed a couple of Sanex branded deodorants from Boots - purely on the basis of them being on a half price offer. I paid 89p for a 50ml bottle, with the usual selling price being around £1.79.
As well as being reasonably priced, this Sanex 'Dermo Invisible' roll on deodorant is very practically packaged, with its clever upside down design meaning that the deodorant is also stored ready for use and minimising waste and the likelihood of the ball and its contents drying up.
The ball itself is a decent size, allowing for smooth, consistent and easy application of the deodorant. I find that the deodorant dries very quickly without leaving my armpits feeling sticky at all. I also appreciate the alcohol free formulation which means that this never stings after application, even if I'm experiencing any sensitivity or rashes under my arms. This bottle boasts that this brand is 'anti white marks' and I must admit that this particular variety is much better than my usual Mitchum deodorant and genuinely doesn't leave behind any unsightly white marks on clothing which is a major achievement.
My favourite feature of this deodorant, however, is its fragrance which is really feminine and floral. It is also very strong but in a pleasant way, rather than being overpowering. This is designed to last for a 24 hour period and works effectively as an antiperspirant. Ironically, I have found that the effects of this brand actually last much longer than others which claim to last for up to 48 hours. I've even woken up in the morning without having the opportunity to shower the previous evening and find that my armpits smell as fresh as they did the day before.
I feel that this deodorant gives me incredible long lasting freshness, a pleasant and feminine fragrance and offers excellent value for money.
It has to be said, I'm a sucker for a nice black number and black will always be the new black to me. Hence my eternal search for deodorant's that will save that awful white powdery patch under the arms, staining clothes.
I've tried many and found some of the aerosol types very effective. These tended to be quite strong and I eventually found that I was becoming more and more sensitive under my arms, developing red sore itchy patches. I also found the smell of some of these sprays quite overwhelming, having to hold my breath for each squirt!
So I decided to try a roll on. I had seen adverts for Sanex products before and knew that they catered for sensitive skin and didn't use harsh chemicals. So I bought the Sanex Dermo invisible with an open mind. My main concern was that it wouldn't be as effective as a deodorant but hoped it would do as it said and help my sore arm pits and protect my clothes. It did both! Within a week I had no flare up of the rash. I found the deodorant itself to be creamy, moisturising and fairly quick drying. The smell is pleasant and not overtly flowery and is very mild, while providing excellent protection. I have been using Sanex Dermo Invisible for a few months now and can happily report that it does protect my clothes from any white staining.
All in all it works really well and I wouldn't go back to aerosols.
Unfortunately I have hyper hydrolysis, (basically I have excessive sweating, but not in the traditional form from feet, palms of hands and underarms, mine is my back, even on a winters day and I been out you could literally ring the t-shit out, so finding a good deodorant for me has been a lot of trial and error.
Who doesn't like to smell nice whilst using a deodorant and have a fresh feeling, the one that seems to make the best improvement for me is the Dero range from Sanex.
The product has a white and pink plastic packaging, the roller ball in half enclosed into this section of the deodorant. The unique point with Samex is that the deodorant ball is upside down compared to the rest of the products on the market. It sits in a clear case
On the front there is a white label, with the Sanex logo on which is in blue and white. Underneath this is the product description, "dermo invisible" and that it is an anti-perspirant 24 hour deodorant and that it contains 0% alcohol. The label goes on further to explain that it minimises white marks, which to me is a plus point, although once I have put deodorant on I do try to wait a minute or so for it to dry before I dress.
The bottle size is a 50ml, and a shelf life of 12 months once opened, I don't think one of mine has seen more than a month never mind 12months.
The ingredients are listed on the product, that it is dermatologic ally tested, and it is made by Colgate-Palmolive, with contact details given.
Once you taken the container out of the lid, there is a fresh mild smell, not over powering, like a gentle breeze and fresh washing out on the line.
You just use as a normal roller ball, and roll up and down until you have enough of the deodorant on. For me I have to have someone to cover my back in this. I am pleased to say that the deodorant dries really quickly, without any residue,
Just replace ready for next time.

This can be purchased from many retailers from Supermarkets to chemists, even discount stores. Generally they retail for £1.50 to £2.00, although this is dearer than some other roll-on deodorants, for me the difference this has made is amazing, and even if I was paying £10 a go it is worth it for me.
There are other selections in the Sanex range, and I find them all as effective.
I love to smell nice and fresh and using a good deodorant is a must as I do sweat quite easily especially in the summer months. I tend to try different products rather than sticking to the same one as I like to try the different scents. One I always seem to go back to is Dermo invisible 24 hour from the Sanex range.
The product has white and pink plastic packaging and the actual roll on part is encased in the white see through plastic part with the rollerball at the bottom, so it sits 'upside down' in the case. On the front it has a white stuck on label with the Sanex logo visible in white and blue. Underneath is the name dermo invisible and it tells you that it is an anti-perspirant 24 hour deodorant that contains 0% alcohol. It also says that it minimises white marks with is a plus, especially if you are wearing dark coloured clothing. On the back of the product it gives the bottle size (50ml), gives a shelf life of 12 months once opened, gives the ingredients, some contact information of Colgate-Palmolive as they make the product and says that is dermatologically tested.
The product itself rolls on clear in colour and has a nice fresh mild smell. To apply simply twist the pink top half of the product and pull up out of the lower casing to reveal the rollerball. Place the rollerball against the underarm skin and gently roll until the desired amount is achieved, put back into the case and twist back into place. The product dries quickly and does not leave any sticky feeling on the area. The product can be found at most supermarkets, beauty stores and on line and usually retails at around £1.50-£1.75. Superdrug currently have it on offer at 99p.
I would recommend this product, it smells lovely and fresh and contains 0% alcohol which is much better for the skin. I have never had any white marks left on clothing once I have applied it but I find I do need to re apply during the summer months so for me it does not have 24 hour protection. Overall I give it 4 stars.
I am quite fussy when it comes to what deodorant I use, I prefer the roll on to the sprays usually, because they are easier to apply thoroughly and they do not leave the whole room smelling like deodorant too. I picked up this Sanex Roll on Deodorant (a spray which I bought for the scent) because I was recommended it after complaining about how the Pearl Nivea Deodorants weren't keeping me fresh throughout the day.
To apply this deodorant you simply roll it onto your underarms, you do not need to apply a lot at a time, because it works so well and if you roll too much of it on, it comes off on your clothes and I do not like the smell of it on my clothes.
I found that this deodorant is really effective. If I apply it in the morning, I usually do not need to re-apply it until after my evening shower.
There is quite a faint scent that comes from this roll on, however if you apply too much of this at a time, the scent can become a little strong when it gathers on your clothes.
The best thing about this roll on is that there are never any white marks on my clothes or under my arms when I apply it, even if I wear darker clothes. It really lives up to its name and is invisible.
I was really happy with the results that I got from this deodorant, I have found that when I apply it I do not need to worry about sweating or patches throughout my day. I will definitely be buying it again.

I bought Sanex Invisible Roll On for 99p for a roll in Tesco from memory. I think that this is a great price and one roll does me ages. I find that I only really need to re-buy this every month or so and I use it every day so this is fantastic value in my opinion.
I think this is my favourite deodorant at the moment, it works great and smells nice as long as you do not over use it. Its also invisible no matter what you wear and fairly priced. Overall I would give this roll on 5 out of 5 stars.

This is my product of choice when it comes to deodorants, it has never let me down.
It has a clean fresh smell, quite like the smell of soap and lasts all day. Even during exercise this stuff really does its job!
It's easy to use with the roll on style, I'm not a fan of spray on, and can honestly say I've never found it to leave any white marks on my dark clothes, or the opposite, cause yellow stains on white clothes.
I have quite sensitive skin and some deodorants do make me itch but this is not the case with this product. I have even applied it straight after shaving and don't suffer any ill effects like stinging!
One of these lasts ages, and because it has quite a neutral scent both me and my husband use it.
My only quibble with it is that it can take a little time to dry under your arms when you apply it (I use the funky chicken method to aid drying)
This roll on is invisible as it rolls on which is great if you are rushing in the morning.
You only need to use this once a day even if you are on the go constantly. The packaging is small and neat and will easily go in your handbag. The packaging is pink and white and does smell quite girly and refreshing.
It is not a strong smell but it is enough to keep you smelling good without the need to use too much.
The way the bottle is designed is so that the ball is on the bottom so you never need to shake it or turn it upside down when the product is getting low. This saves loads of time and means you get the most out of it.
You can buy it in most shops that sell toiletries and it is usually priced at around £1.50 but I have previously found it for £1 when it is on sale.
The Sanex range is also very good if you have sensitive skin as they specialise in products that work with troublesome skin.
I find this is better than a spray deoderant as you dont get the tickle at the back of your throat from the aerosol.
I love this deoderant and would recommend it to anyone.
The first time I bought it was because it was on offer and because it was in a pink container. What can I say I love pink! But since I first used it I have been hooked. It rolls on so easy everytime and because its stored in an upside down position this stops the roll from drying out.
The deoderant its self smells great, not too over powering but something you can still smell when you are getting undressed at the end of the day, which to me means that its still working. I dont have a stressful or active job so I couldnt tell you if it would last all day if you are literally running from A to B, but I do go to the gym three times a week and it lasts for me whilst I am there.
Another thing is the consistansy of the deoderant is like a creamy liquid, which helps mositurise your skin, I also put it straight on after shaving under my arms and it doesnt sting one bit.
Overall I think Sanex is brilliant.
I thought I had found the perfect deodorant in my Mitchum roll-on and would happily buy this forever but on my last shopping trip the shop was out of stock. I bought this Sanex Dermo Invisible roll on as a replacement. I'd never tried the product before and in fact was totally unfamiliar with the brand at all.
I was a bit bemused when I got my deodorant home and opened it up. The packaging is very unique. It sort of resembles a dalek, to be honest, and is back to front to what the norm usually is. I mean by this that the product stands upside down. There is a round pink bit at the top with grip holes on it and when you twist and pull you realise that this is the bottle filled with the liquid and the roller ball end is at the bottom. The lid, therefore sits at the bottom. Basically, the clever design means that the liquid deodorant is always at the rollerball end - you don't have to tip the bottle up or shake it. It also opens more easily than other roll-on deodorants. Just one click to the left and the bottle seperates from the lid.
The 50ml sized bottle has a soft rounded style which also means it's really nice to hold and it fits neatly into the palm of the hand. It has a slightly raised surface and dents to give a non-slip grip. The top most end curves inward like a waist. The roller ball at the end is about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The rounded bottom means that you always have to place the bottle back into the lid - it can't stand up.
The product has all it's information printed on it's labels which are attached to the outer 'lid'. This is an anti-perspirant deodorant which means it's stops sweat by blocking pores as well as masking the odour with sweeter scents. It promises to provide protection for up to 24 hours. It contains 0% alcohol and offers both moiturisation and breathability for skin. The brand call the benefits of their product the 'Dermo Active 3'. A further benefit is that the product is supposed to reduce that classic white mark effect that so many deodorants leave on clothes and skin.
The Sanex roll on has a very fresh, sharp scent that I like and which I'd say was only slightly feminine. It is more of a clean, water based fragrance that is suitable for both sexes. The liquid deodorant comes out easily and smoothly. Just one swipe over my skin does me. The thinner the layer the quicker it takes to dry. As far as drying time goes I would like the deodorant to dry just a little quicker. I have found myself blowing my armpits in an attempt to hurry the process along! It eventually dries into an invisible shield. You can feel the way it covers the skin almost like a body butter. It feels moisturised and soft.
I have been quite pleased with the way the deodorant has been working. I consider myself a very sweaty person! I am quite active all day, am a jogger and also suffer from nervous perspiration. I have always needed quite a strong deodorant and this one is very effective for my needs. I haven't left the deodorant for a whole 24 hours but after a long day or night I can still smell the pleasant clean scent. I also haven't seen any evidence of white marks or of dry, burned skin - something I occaisonally get from other strong deodorants.
I would say this is definitely worth trying if you've never tried it before. I've sort of avoided the product in the past because the brand name sounds a bit too clinical and old fashioned. But it's a high quality product.
You can see more about the Sanex range at their website:
I have been using Sanex Dermo Invisible Roll on for about 8 years maybe longer and wouldn't change a thing about it. I have in the past tried various deoderants which either caused an allergic reaction (Right Guard) or left hideous crispy white marks on my predominantly dark wardrobe (Right Guard, Sure and Palmolive). This deoderant comes in both a spray and roll on formula and I prefer the roll on formula as I hate aerosols as you breath in too much of the product and like to be able to shove it in my bag without it taking up too much room. The roll on contains 50ml of the deoderant and comes in two halves; the lid (clear white plastic) and the deoderant ball (pearl mauve plastic) screw together neatly and do not come apart when in your bag. You can generally get this deoderant for about £1 provided you shop around although I have seen it for £2.50 in some shops but would advise you shop around as it is always on offer either in Superdrug, Boots or Sainsburys.
The deoderant is easy to apply and all you need to do is stroke the ball lightly along the armpit and the deoderant dries almost instantly without any tacky residue. The deoderant smells quite pleasant, like clean cotton, but isn't overwhelming like some so can be worn with any perfume without fear of fragrances clashing. The formula is supposed to keep you dry for 24 hrs and I must admit although I'm not a particularly sweaty person I've never been damp under the arms even during the peak of summer. Another thing that I like about this deoderant is that you can apply it straight after shaving as it doesn't contain alcohol or anything that will irritate the skin. As for white marks I have to state that it performs well as I wear black or dark shirts for work and have never found white marks on them.
All in all I highly recommend this deoderant and provided Sanex do not discontinue this deoderant or change the formula in a negative way I shall continue to use it.
I picked the Sanex Invisible Roll On up in Wilkinsons for the bargain price of 69p, at that price I was just expecting it to be an average run of the mill deodorant that wouldn't keep me as fresh as I'd like by the end of the day but luckily I have been proved wrong :-)
The deoderant is attractively packaged, It has a bright pinky/red top and then a clearer part of the container which has the sticker on it with the logo and product description. What I do love about the packaging is that the actual roll on part of the deodorant is the pinky/red top, and thus the ball of the deodorant is facing downwards. An ingenious idea to ensure that all of the product can be used and that there is no wastage. I really do hate it when you have a deodorant that you shake and it sounds like there is something in it but you can't roll it out!
Sanex dermo invisible promotes that it gives effective protection for 24 hours, it moisturises your underarms, allows your skin to breathe and minimises white marks on your clothing. I have to say, after a weeks use daily I have felt properly deodorised and fresh throughout a working day and after a 20 mile bike ride at the weekend I didn't smelly whiffy (maybe I wasn't trying hard enough!). Ths deodorant wise its a thumbs up :-) I also have found that there are less white marks on my clothes and my skin than with the previous deodorant I was using. My skin feels as moisturised as it always did so I can't really comment on any change there but to say that it has maintained the condition of the skin.
Fragrance-wise, I am not a huge fan. I found with many Sanex products the scent tends to be quite clinical and not very feminine. This is the only bad thing I have to say about the product all in all. I definitely think the good points out weigh this negative, so much so that I probably will continue to use this product in the foreseeable future.
I was on my weekly shop in my local Tesco store recently when i realised that i needed to buy deodorant as my supplies were running low. I headed to the health and beauty section and was most dismayed when i got there to discover that my usual brand was not available. I have to admit i am a creature of habit when it comes to buying certain items and i found myself at a bit of a loss as to which product i would purchase instead. I noticed on one of their promotion ends that they were trialling a product at £1 well i figured that if i didnt actually like it then there wasnt going to be any great loss. The product to give it its full title is Sanex Dermo Invisible Deodorant.
This deodorant comes packaged in a neat little bullet shape holder containing 50mls of product. It is made of two quite thick plastic pieces which screw into each other. The top part contains the product encased in a curved shaped bright pink holder. The bottom section has a flat base which enables the entire product to be able to stand upright. This part also features product name and explains that this product will provide
1. Effective protection for 24hrs.
3. Will allow your skin to breathe
4. Mininises white marks
On unscrewing the two pieces apart the product inside can be reached by turning the base. It has a white ball which allows you to be precise in your underarm application and which happily oozes the product out in manageable amounts without spilling.
I have to admit that i was quite taken with the scent of the product. It had a light floral note with hints of talc. Very crisp and clean and generally very pleasant. It certainly did not make me sneeze or my eyes water as i often find with these items where the fragrance is just too over-powering. Overall i would recommend to those allergy sufferers like myself where less scent is definitely more. I tried this product the next day and was surprised at how little i actually had to apply to ensure that my complete underarm area was covered. In addition i found that drying time was extremely quick so i was able to put my clothes on very quickly. The claim of minimises white marks is certainly true as i was unable to find any evidence at all on my clothing. There is nothing more irritating in the morning than having to sponge down clothing to remove these troublesome marks. I also found that it didnt feel clumpy when on i suppose this goes someway to allowing skin to breathe.
I have been using this deodorant now for about two weeks and i am going to buy it again. I sadly cant really comment regarding provides effective moisturisation as i use a host of body lotions and potions for this purpose already on a daily basis. As for provides 24 hour protection well i am not brave enough to try to prove this claim. However if i get stuck somewhere while wearing the product for 24hrs without being able to shower then i will update this review. As i purchased this product on a special offer i am unsure what its normal selling price is. However i would certainly recommend it.
It definitely minimises white marks, Keeps you smelling fresh throughout the day without need to reapply product. No evidence of sweat!!! Fantastic feminine fragrance. Easy to apply.
Sanex Dermo Invisible Roll On
I have been using this product for years now and I still continue to buy it time after time. Everyone needs a good deodorant to rely on the keep you smelling, feeling and looking fresh. Sanex are a pretty cheap and cheerful brand that works for me.
When you apply this it does need a few moments to settle down and dry out a bit rather than feeling wet and tacky. When it does I find that this provides me with excellent coverage and protection from perspiring.
This deodorant has a rather nice, clean and not too strong smell. I love the smell of this it is both feminine and fresh, while being slightly sweet but not cloying or unpleasant.
This deodorant is meant to be able to give you 24 hour protection, in the winter months I would say this is true, but in the summer months I would suggest that you need to re-apply this to feel clean and protected. Usually this deodorant roll on will last me for at least a good couple of weeks to a month before I need to buy another one. It is very easy to use and applies smoothly right up until the end.
The deodorant (as I always prefer) is alcohol free which means that you can apply this even after shaving and it won't sting. This deodorant never seems to dry out my skin which I have experienced with some other roll on deodorants.
One of the main reasons I initially bought this and continue to do so (apart from it works) is that it is anti-mark, it should go on invisibly and stay invisible even if you put on a black top. I will testify that I have never noticed any unsightly marks on my clothes when I get dressed after using this.
The last couple of times I have bought this I have only paid £1, which is fantastic value for money for a protect that works.I give this deodorant a well earned five out of five stars.
I usually only use Vaseline intensive care deodorant and have stuck with that for quite a few years now because it is very gentle and never irritates me, unlike some brands I have tried in the past.
The only problem is that it is one of the most expensive roll ons and hardly ever goes on offer. Having tried lots of other products from Sanex, I have come to trust the brand and when I saw this on offer at half price (around 65p) I thought I'd try it and give it a chance as I have found the Sanex products to be very gentle on the skin.
Well I have now been using this roll on for around a month and I am pleased to say it is just as good as my previous brand. I have used this twice a day and after shaving and I have had no problems. I have found it is a great deodorant and leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth.
The shape of the packaging means that the product is always ready to be used so you dont have to wait for it to fall down to the roller ball and it lasts for ages. I have been using mine for weeks and it still feels full.
The Sanex range of deodorants is my favourite, each one has a lovely smell - though not overpowering - they are kind to my skin and they are reasonably priced.
This 'invisible' one is great and whilst there is still room for error - for instance don't try pulling on your fave black dress whilst the deodorant is still wet as you will get a very slight mark, just wait for it to dry first - it does it's job much better than other similar ones I have tried which claim to leave no marks.
It has a well designed bottle which allows the roller ball to be in contact with the liquid all the time, so no shaking it about as it gets empty. The bottle is 50ml - which I think is fairly standard for roll on deodorant - and it costs generally well under £2 - it does vary according to where you buy it from, I find Superdrug is usually cheapest for it.
I have sensitive skin and this product has always been fine for me. It feels very gentle on the skin and does a good job as an anti-perspirant.
