“ Brand: Sanex / Spray / Type: Deodorant Spray / Suitable for: Body / What it does: Refreshes, „
I'd been looking for a while of a small can of deodorant to keep in my bag to freshen up with during the day or if I unexpectedly stayed out to use in the morning. Looking around most of the other mini versions just seemed to small and I felt they would run out after a couple of uses and this just didn't seem cost effective to keep buying them and then I seen the Sanex Excel Fresh. At 75ml it seemed a far more substantial size for the money and I felt it would last a far more acceptable amount of time.
Once I got home and read the back of the can I was even more impressed with my purchase when I read that is was infact a concentrated version of the 150ml can and would give the same amount of sprays and last as long as a 150ml can of Sanex. I was abit wary of this claim but since using the Sanex Excel Fresh this claim is completely true and the can lasted me ages.
I love that the product contains no alcohol so it is gentle on skin, even more so considering it uses truspray technology meaning the diffusion is gentler than normal deodorant sprays. Despite being incredibly gentle on skin the product is very effective and also left no white marks on my clothes.
The fragrance is light and fresh with a tint of powderiness. It is not overly strong and has never overpowered any fragrance I have put on after applying Sanex Excel Fresh.
I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a handbag sized deodorant that's both gentle on skin but also a very effective deodorant. It would also be perfect to take on holiday with you and would definitely last for the duration of a holiday.
As my holiday was drawing nearer, I did a little last minute shopping for odds and ends, and was in the search for a mini sized deodorant to take in my carry on. All the ones I spotted were really tiny and so very expensive, a 35ml bottle for over £1.00. Just as I was about to give up, I spotted Sanex Excel Fresh Deodorant Spray.
This deodorant was a 75ml size and cost me £2.15 and if I remember correctly I bought it from Boots. It was just the right size to take on board the plane as it complied with the strict liquid allowance regulations.
What further impressed me regarding this particular deodorant is that it is concentrated. The 75ml size is equivalent to a regular sized 150ml can of anti-perspirant. It gives the same amount of sprays as a normal sized tin. At the time I did doubt it's capability to last me the full 2 week holiday. I thought it was a bit gimmicky but gave it chance anyway.
Another plus point is that it does not contain any alcohol, which is kinder to skin. I have very sensitive skin and some deodorants can irritate, but this one is very gentle. It states on the reverse of the can that it uses 'truspray' technology which gives a softer diffusion, again kinder to delicate skin. It works too, a spray in the morning and I was good to go. However, in extreme heat, I did find the need to have an additional spritz, but since the can is so small, its easy to fit into a handbag to freshen up on the go.
It has a pleasant fresh, slightly powdery smell, but not overpowering. It does not detract from any fragrance you may be wearing.
Sanex Excel also minimises white marks, which for me is another important factor when choosing a deodorant.
Would I recommend this product? Definitely, it lasted me my whole holiday, that included sharing it with my partner, and he likes to give a good blast. He found that it worked too by the way. It is handy to pop into your bag to freshen on the go, and it comply's with airline liquid regulations, smells great and is gentle. What's not too like. The only downside is that it is more expensive that my regular deodorants (I don't like to pay more than £1 really) so I reserve this for holidays only.
