Ordinarily I'm more of an Impulse girl but I snapped up a couple of So...? body sprays when I saw them going for around 65p in Bodycare a while back.
My overriding impression of this scent is that it's predominantly floral and has a strong sweet smell to it. Floral scents are never really my kind of thing so I can't say that I'm particularly wild about this particular body spray. You'll note that in the first sentence of this paragraph I included the words "predominantly floral", and that's because there is a small hint of something else in the scent when it starts to settle down. I can smell a subtle hint of fruitiness although I can't put my finger on exactly what the fruit is, especially as there's description of the fragrance on the can to help!
From first spray, the scent of this body spray is definitely what I'd call strong. Unlike many body sprays, this doesn't die down five minutes later and instead, it stays relatively strong for several hours so it's not a bad bet if you're looking for a body spray that provides a more lasting scent. Of course, the scent does fade but it's still evident as time passes so in that sense, I class it as stronger than the likes of Impulse.
As much as I tend to like Impulse fragrances, they have a strong tendency to lose the majority of their scent within half an hour so repeated applications are needed to maintain it and you can quickly get through a can if you're using it day in day out. This, on the other hand, needs only a couple of squirts throughout the day so it's more economical.
Even if it's not on any kind of offer, you can sometimes pick up So...? body sprays for around £1 (which is the price it tends to retail at in Bodycare and my local chemist, both of which seem to be where I end up buying my body sprays these days as I just pick one up if it's going cheap when I'm in there!).
For me, this body spray falls into the "just ok" category. It's by no means an awful scent but it's not the kind of thing that I normally go for. I like girly scents but I'm not big on florals and there seems to be a strong hint of that here.
I saw this body spray advertised in various teenage magazines including Bliss and Sugar, then one day while I was in Savers (as this is the one stop for beauty bargains) and I saw that 'so..?Eternal fragrance' was on sale from one pound thirty nine to one pound, as I saw it very cheap and it was the first time I was going to use it I thought I would give it a go.
I thought 75 ml for a brand new release body spray was a really good price - but I think it was trying to sell this product for customers to try. So I think selling it for a pound was the way.
The next when I had a spray it didn't have much of a smell and it was no different to other so..? body spray luckily it wasn't much money so there was no wasting there!
As well it did need re-applying for most of the time, oh my gosh don't know how many times I've said this, but I hate perfumes/body sprays that you have to keep re-applying.
You can find it in Wilkinsons, Savers, Boots, Superdrug and various supermarkets, places like Savers have it cheaper and sometimes supermarkets have it on offer, even though Wilkinson is cheap but so eternal isn't usually on offer. Superdrug and Boots are bit more expensive and this isn't usually on offer and both sell it at approx 1.39
Sometimes I do buy this product, but only if I am desperate for a new body spray or perfume, but looking back at my review it isn't actually worth buying as there is not much difference really.
Although I usually stick to Impulse Body Sprays, I sometimes use the So range. I know this used to be more for teenage girls, since I used to reach for the brand when I was a teenager, but when the range seemed to have expanded over the years and is now more interesting than the couple of choices I used to have then I had to have a try. Also when it is often on offer for £1 for the 75ml tin instead of the expensive £1.80 then that interests me as well.
This is in the normal slim line Spray that most Body sprays seem to be in. It doesn't look that fancy or expensive looking, but not all that bad either. The main colouring on the is darker pinks and lighter pinks. There is a black brand across the middle of this. Looks ok I guess.
This is quite a nice scent. Although I don't tend to go for flowery scents, and this smells like Pink Sparkling flowers, it is nice. It is a light subtle scent, and not too flowery. There also seems to be notes of Perhaps Peach in here as well, as I thought I could smell a bit fruity tang, but in the way you get a slight earthy scent from Peaches. The scent lingers a bit as well, and provides a nice fresh scent through the day. I did reapply this when on my lunch break to freshen myself up.
This was nice enough, but I don't think I would buy it again. I find there is a lot nicer Impulse scents out there, and since that can be on offer quite a bit then I would stick to that. Even so there is nicer So scents as well, and this one just doesn't live up to some of the other scents for me.
If you read my reviews at all on a regular basis you will soon rather quickly realise I am a fan of So...? Products. I own all their perfumes I can lay my hands on for day time use in the main as I do like my designer one's too of course but mainly I use their body sprays all the time!
However me.... well I'd missed seeing this one so when I saw it in my local Superdrug for £1.89 a can I simply had to try it out of course!
Well the body spray comes in a long cylinder can with an aerosol sprayer to the top of it and a matching pink lid/cap to the top of it to the main body of the can. The size of it is the standard 75ml can and personally I have never seen a bigger size than this on offer anywhere on my travels.
The can itself though is as I said earlier pink and it's also white in colour. On the front of it I'm told it is So...? Eternal Body Fragrance and the size is stated. On the back of the can other information included includes being given a list of ingredients, warnings are listed, and contact details for So...? Are given. It's a lovely looking girly can this one but not too young to put us older generations off too much!
Like all body sprays all you do is simply hold it at arms length and preferably spray onto a clean body. This is of course a body fragrance and sprays out as an aerosol and is not suitable to keep BO at bay but a freshen up!
It sprays out as a light slightly damp mist that is light and doesn't put any kind of residue on to the skin therefore you can't see it or feel it, however you can smell it!
Fragrance wise this is a floral little number. Fresh and light but at the same time although it's a rather delicate fragrance and pretty it really remains strong and powerful over a lot of hours.
You don't need a lot of this to freshen and gain fragrance from it at all. Fragrance wise it's a bit of a chameleon of a fragrance really. No where on the can does it say what this should smell of but to me and my nostrils it smells of florals and then I couldn't really put my finger on the other smells involved in this so I shoved my leg in my mates face and said what you think and she thinks it's rather fruity (the fragrance not my leg lol) and reckoned the same as me that it does contain notes of peach and apricot too! Whatever the fragrance it is it is entirely feminine and long lasting on the skin and I personally think is incredibly well blended and worth it's money for the quality it gives.
It's worth remembering as well that this is a body fragrance and although I use this as a day to day body spray it could be used in place of a perfume as desired and me I use the So...? Sinful on hot summer nights in this way!
I like this body spray though to be fair it really isn't my favourite from within the So...? Range and I prefer much sweeter fragranced body sprays as a rule"! Not bad though and I wouldn't avoid purchasing it again!
