I often choose a bodyspray when I go to superdrug and I noticed the So... range of fragrances because they were cheaper than impulse. I often pick up the one I like the look of the packaging most (shallow i know), but I decided to take a chance as the description of it sounded appealing. The tube is indigo and pink with a purple lid. When you pull the lid off it has a regular spray nozzle that you push down to spray the product out. The back reads the ingredients and has a warning not to spray it near any naked flames. Spraying it, it smells like a mix between musk and vanilla, it claims to have the smell of raspberries in too, and I can smell a kind of fruity undertone but it is very faint indeed. It is an acquired smell, pretty grown up and not majorly girly or sweet. The scent is not overly strong, I usually apply this after I've showered and before I get dressed. It is not a deodorizing spray so you will need to use a deodorant as well as this. The smell lasts about 4 hours then starts to fade, but it is easy to reapply and handbag friendly so you can carry it round with you. It costs about £1.50 for a bottle, and you can get this fragrance as an eau de toilette in a glass bottle too for about a tenner. I've seen a body cream with the scent too online but they don't stock that in my local shop. There are gift sets available with several products which would make a nice present for someone who liked the scent. Overall I will continue to buy this as a treat, it's cheap and although it doesn't act as a deodorant it does not claim to do so. It's a nice smell and it lasts long enough too. The bottle doesn't leak or anything so it's good for travel. Try it out for yourself. My favourite of the So... fragrance line.
'When the cats away the mice will play' I'm the mouse when my daughters away in Uni. Don't get me wrong it's not technically stealing as I usually buy her the stuff to begin with!! In Tesco this costs £1.60 for only 75ml so would never buy it for myself. I'm not really a body spray person as they have no longevity so I can't see the point of them. After applying the scent just doesn't seem to last so why bother. Anyway I spotted So Sinful in the cupboard under the sink and thought I'd give it a go. The small tin is dark purple which is what attracted me in the first place. It just says 'So Sinful body fragrance'. On the back it reckons it's a fragrance with attitude, don't know about attitude but it's certainly strong, you certainly don't need a lot during initial application- I think I'd pass out if I applied too much. I just spray over my clothes and down my top rather than after a shower as there'd be too much conflict with my deodorant and body butter. It smells rather nice, very sweet at first it's sort of manly. After a few minutes there's definitely a vanilla smell coming through then finally settles into a very musky smell. First it has a teenage feel to it but once it dies down I think it's suitable for any age. There is hardly any scent left after only an hour, just a faint whiff now and again on my clothes. Again I don't really see the point in these body sprays but initially it does smell nice. It has no deodorant or anti perspirant properties, nor does it have the staying power of a perfume or EDT. At £1.60 I wouldn't bother buying it for myself. The tin has lasted ages but hasn't been used everyday. You don't need much of the stuff to get a good strong scent going, but as I say it doesn't last so if I want it to linger on me I'd have to keep reapplying like my daughter does. I would recommend it if you like Body Spray as it does smell nice. But am only giving it 3 stars as I don't see the point of them. They do freshen up my clothes and make me smell nice but only for an hour.
My best friend and i picked out the perfume version of this for my mother on Mothers day this year. While i was hunting through different shops for Rolo's for said best friends birthday (How difficult are they to find these days?!) i came across the body spray version of this in Tesco. Seeing as i liked the perfume version (after being doused in it my my mother) i decided to buy the body spray to give my perfumes a rest during the days i just lounge around the house. I bought the 75ml can from Tesco for around £1.70. The can itself is a dark purple with deep pink and light pink accents, it has the usual semi see through plastic cap and push down silver pump. It has the usual don't burn even after use, don't spray on a naked flame or incandescent materials, protect from sunlight and don't store in temperatures over 50 degrees Celsius information. The can is also recyclable. I haven't had any rashes or problems after spraying it on myself. I can't find any scent details on the body spray but it smells the same as the perfume so they say: Top notes: Strawberry & Pineapple Middle notes: jasmine & Lily-of-the-Valley & Violet Base notes: Vanilla & Mexican chocolate I find it smells a lot like vanilla, i can smell a little violet and lily but that's about it when it comes to that list. It's a very sweet scent, almost like candy with an overtone of vanilla. I would say it's more of a teen/young adult scent but it could work just as well for a base on anyone else. Maby to go on top of a deodorant to hide the terrible smell most deodorants have as this is what I'm using it for. I didn't expect much when it came to lasting all day, and really it doesn't. I find it lasts up to an hour until i can't smell it at all myself. On spraying it to begin with it has a very thick and heavy mist that makes me cough and sneeze, almost like spraying talc. It then settles into a sweet vanilla smell, personally I'm a fan of vanilla so i like this. This is one of the nicer sprays I've found so far and it lasts as long as you would expect from a body spray, so don't expect too much. Deffinately a teen scent, if you want it to last longer i would recommend the perfume version as that last so much longer and is fairly cheap for the length of time the bottle lasts. All in all it's quite good as a body spray and I'd probably buy it again. If you want to try out the perfumes you could use the body sprays first as they don't last long if you don't like them and smell just like the perfumes do.
In the gift set with my So...? Sinful perfume was the matching body spray, I couldn't wait to use it because I love the perfume so much as a daytime fragrance but was a bit disappointed with it really. The main thing for me is that the body spray doesn't smell quite the same as the perfume. It hasn't got the strong vanilla smell and is more floral than the perfume. I'm not very impressed with how well this body spray lasts either, within a few minutes the main strong smell has disappeared and I'm left with a slightly musky smell that fades into nothing after an hour or 2. It doesn't smell as good as Impulse and is more like the sort of body spray you'd find in the pound shop than something that should come in a gift set with such a nice perfume! It's one of them body sprays that doesn't make you feel any fresher when you've sprayed it, yeah the smell is nice to start with but what's the point when it disappears so quick and doesn't even try to match the smell of the perfume. The floral smell comes from violets according to the website and in the perfume you can actually smell the violets, but in this it just smells a bit flowery and to me that makes it smell like a body spray designed for older ladies and not the trendy market So...? usually go for. I'm not impressed with this body spray at all, even if it smelt nicer I still wouldn't want to use it much because it doesn't last as long as I want a body spray to. Impulse stays smelling fresh for hours and I like my body spray to be long lasting because there's nothing worse than gassing everyone in the ladies when you pop in to re-spray! lol Not recommended by me!
Since I've grown up I have really like using body sprays as they are easy to use, quick and portable too... I do get bought a lot of girly products like this and was 'So...? Sinful' that is said to be 'fragrance with attitude'. Perfect for me then! Body sprays are generally lighter in fragrant than full on perfume which I find too heavy and claustrophobic so this one was a good choice for me as a body fragrance. Sold in a 75ml metal canister (recyclable) with a dark purple and pink pattern on it this should be kept out of high heat and sunlight as it is a pressurised container. The usual advice is to spray about 25 cms away form yourself but avoiding the eyes and face. I use this type of product on both on my clothes and on my skin as I find the smell lasts longer that way... On first smelling this one I thought it smelt like a cheap toilet freshener though! You get a whiff of a talc-like mist and then a horrible after-smell of something unpleasant. The ingredients don't say what the perfume is the makers have included but I hated it when I sprayed it, its aroma is so cheap and nasty and nothing like the Charlie deodorant sprays I have been using. I haven't got anything good to say about this, I have no idea what it cost but whatever it was it was too much. When I used it I had to get another wash to get rid of the horrible odour and I haven't used it again until this review. I would say avoid this like the plague and I wouldn't award it any stars if I didn't have too - awful! :(
I remember when So? perfume came out. It was before we had the massive influx of 'designer' stuff and were just coming out the 'Tweed' phase lol Personally I can quite honestly say that I did not use Tweed but for my sins was a Smitty fan lol If your younger that 30 you quite possibly won't have a clue what I'm rattling on about. However when the red bottle of So...? came out and was followed by the matching body spray I think a lot of people in my generation breathed a huge sigh of relief and year 11 of my school days started to smell a lot better. Since then of course we've moved on and so has So...? lol From the original So...? We now have a plethora of fragrances by the same brand... So...? Inspired So...? Kiss Me So...? Wild So...? Desirable So...? What So...? Sinful So...? Superstar All of the fragrances above come in Eau De Toilette , Sizes 20ml and 50ml and a matching Body Fragrance. Now I have so many perfumes that I must admit that at the moment I don't own any of the perfumes in the range. Though I have done and am sure I shall do again. I love the fragrances for every day use and find them long lasting and strong fragranced which is what I like. However I am addicted to body sprays. The one I'm addicted to and have been for the past year or so is the So...? Sinful Body Fragrance. I always have about 3 or 4 bottles in my bedroom and use it all the time, whether it be in the day or when I'm going at night. Also the scent is so strong and lasting that I wore it all through the summer just as an all over fresh fragrance and I got comments all the time. what also made me stick with it, is my ex loved it and all the compliments I got for wearing it lol I feel every inch a sexy, vampy, mysterious woman wearing this! Packaging... A lovely deep purple recyclable, aluminium tin which is 75ml.Silver sprayer which you hold and spray away from the body but on to it. It disperses a fine mist over the body. It has a push on plastic see throughish safety lid .On the front of the tin it tells me what is is and who it is by they weight and that it is indeed a body fragrance. On the back it tells me it's a fragrance with attitude, the ingredients and the usual warnings that come along with an aerosol can. The Official Word.... Unveil the true scent of everything you ever desired and discover something mysterious and So...? Sinful you may never be forgiven! Lose yourself on a journey of excess, wrap yourself in mystery with this tempting yet devilish new fragrance! But keep it a secret as So...? sinful is not for sharing, save this one for yourself and keep everyone guessing your sexy new scent! With a scent so devilish it's got to be So...? Sinful The scent.... Very strong! Very Sweet! I can't cheat anywhere and find what the smell is meant to be so we are totally trusting my nostrils which are currently resting on the lid and sniffing hard! Mainly to my mind it smells of Vanilla, it has a fruity base maybe berry fruits but that's not the top note of the fragrance. Mostly it's kind of muskyish / vanilla with a sugar top layer. It's very unusual and people will comment on it. To me its very sophisticated but looking at the website it looks marketed towards young people which actually surprises me as I would think this would appeal to women my age and older more than youngsters! Its extremely long lasting in the tin. You don't need to over do it with this one but at same time is you like it strong (I do) then go for your life. its incredibly long lasting on the skin too. I wear it for a night out and i can still smell it on my clothes when in the morning when I go to put them in the wash. If you snuggle up to someone you shouldn't they'll get found out as the fragrance transfers easily! lol Its none sticky, not irritating and you'll either love the fragrance or hate it I don't really think there is an in between on this one. If you like your heavy perfumes you'll love it. If your a pink and fluffy girl then its probably too strong. However its stocked in so many places, cheat and spray a little in to the cap give it a few seconds and sniff it. If you like it buy it. It stays as strong as that on the skin for hours it doesn't fade at least not on me and my Mum. I'm a massive fan of these and I've tried other body sprays but this is my firm favourite and I'm sure its gonna stay that way. I've tried other more expensive whiffs and this still gets a golden crown. It's a must have and if I ever ran out I'd cry my eyes out! Brilliant! Oh and one last thing. I call it a body spray but no where on the tin is it called a body spray it says. It is marketed as a 'body fragrance' so if you want to wear it as a perfume, it's long lasting and strong enough to! Great to take to work and stuff and if you wear it as a fragrance it's really bound to get you noticed! £1.99 a bottle in Superdrug but do look out for offers like buy one get free in Wilkinsons and Boots etc, I always stock up on this fragrance whenever I can!
