“ Brand: Sure / Type: Wipes / Suitable for: Body „
I was in the Arndale when some people were giving free sample of Sure deo wipes, so I took some to try. I have to say I was very pleased with my two free packs. They are quick to use and not sticky so you will be freshened within seconds and feel great. With the hot weather this summer I really think they are very good. I have used the Dove wipes which are equally good. But, I have to say Sure deo wipes are very good too. They come packaged individually and are very easily carried about in hand-bags and very easy to apply. The directions are simple: Tear open the sachet, remove the wipe and wipe over body. The results are very good you will feel cleansed, freshened and they smell good too. On the package it does state that the wipes can be used to complement your antiperspirant. The good thing about Sure wipes are that you can use them anywhere and anytime, and for a few minutes are so you will like somebody has turned the air conditioning on in a very hot room. It's been so hot lately and I have found Sure deo wipes a god send. However, be careful when using the wipes: -avoid contact with eyes -keep out of reach of children -stop use if irritation develops -do not use on sore or broken skin Overall, I think for long journeys, breaks in between lectures or just when your feeling the heat and can't have a shower, the Sure deo wipes are a very good substitute. The wipes normally have a lasting effect for a hour or so.
Have YOU ever been in one of these situations?: * A festival where theres 1 shower in full view of the whole camping site and nasty, stinky portapottys with a strange wiffy smell and smoke eminating from them. * In your car on the way home from a hard day at work, when the sun is beating down, slowly roasting you, and you have to peel yourself from the drivers seat. * You have a morning run as you are infact one of those very rare motivated people whos actually like physical excersice. * You are a very busy person who has about 5 minutes between getting home from work and getting down to the pub (The pub is oh so important y'know!) If you are ever in any of these situations, especially the festival one because......well......you stink. (i know i go to festivals and admit i stink.)Then you should purchase these handy little pack of deo-wipes for an ickle price of 1.99. Basically they are better than baby wipes because as well as cleaning you up they also make you smell nicer. If you have a B.O problem take note. THEY WILL MAKE ANYONE SMELL NICER! Sweating isn't a crime, it's nature, and although society doesn't really help, it happens on a daily, hourly, every minute, basis. The deo wipes make you feel and smell cleaner, and because they're so little you can simply stick them in your bag and use them when ever you work up a sweat! And if you think about it (even in my cheap-i'm a student so shall make any sacrifice to buy more beer-phase) i don't think that £1.99 is too extortionate to show that i have a bit of hygiene!
Now that summer has finally decided to put in an appearance, these new Sure Deo wipes are a must for those of us with sweaty pits and colleagues with sensitive noses. They come in a handy baby-wipe-like pack of 14 wipes that you use to 'freshen'up with during those long hot days stuck in an office with no air-conditioning. They're nice and soft and smell quite nice, although I've only seen them in the "Cotton Fresh" fragrance. At £1.99 I think they're a bit pricey when you consider that on a good day I use 3 of them throughout the day, but the fact that they refresh and deodorise in one easy step and without contributing to the ever-growing hole in the ozone layer by liberally spraying every half an hour is a definite bonus. The good thing about them is the packet isn;t that large, so no matter how cluttered your handbag is, you should be able to squeeze them in along with the contents of your entire make-up selection and the kitchen sink. Worth a go, especially while the hot spell is with us.
Hurray! This IS the twenty-first century after all. Say good-bye to water, Deowipes are here! These take the basic concept of the wet-wipe and subtley twist it to make it the indespensible addition to any office-workers drawer. The groovy little packs are easily stored in handbag or sport holdall. The pack has a re-sealable sticky tab which keeps the little darlings dry inside the pack and stands up to repeated usage. They go on damp but soon dry up leaving a very pleasant mild scent. This has massive advantages over body spray like Lynx which, like napalm, destroys with its pungent odour any living persons nostrils within 30 yards. The smell is almost akin to patchouli, but luckily only almost. It smells like you've put on nice clean clothes, which, since you are using these rather than have a shower is highly unlikely. I cannot see any disadvantages or drawbacks to this product and with the onset of the water shortage season I predict a booming market for these.
That's what one of my teachers in Primary school used to tell me anyway!. Well, whatever you want to call it, it still can be down right annoying if you are out, maybe on a warm day, and find yourself feeling all yucky. Now usually, some of us just deal with it and try to forget that it's there, while our friends/work colleagues hold their noses, trying desperately not to offend. Others cover themselves in the deodorant that they keep in their bag/car/locker for such an occasion and succeed in knocking out their friends with the over powering smell of "cool pink" or whatever type you use. Deodorant in excess can be unpleasant too. Another point is that by doing this you are really just covering up the offensive odour and not really getting rid of the problem. So how to get over this, well you could have a shower and change your clothes, but this is impractical on a day out (obviously), so Sure have introduced some brilliant little wipes that are designed specifically with such occasions in mind. The packet that I bought was a lovely little handbag sized set, with 14 wipes in it. The packaging was like a smaller version of baby wipes, only, obviously, they didn't have a baby on the front. The only fragrance that I could find was Sure Oxygen, but no doubt over a period of time, Sure will add to this range. Sure's Deo. Wipes are designed so that you can "clean and refresh yourself, anytime, anywhere" - though I would recommend going somewhere private as I'm sure the whole street would not be interested in watching you. They can be used all over the body, but are not for intimate hygiene use (just in case anyone thought of it) and are supposed to work alongside your own deodorant, but then again if your deodorant was working properly then you would not really have this problem. The actual wipes feel exactly like Pamper's baby wipes - very soft and thick material. They have a
"light" smell, and they work wonderfully in my experience. They are ideal to take with you on days out, and are in a handy re-sealable pouch, oh and, unlike most other sure products, they don't leave behind those white marks on your clothes! A couple of things though - if you are using these, be environmentally friendly and don't flush them down the loo, the material that they are made of is not biodegradable, and as with all deodorant product, do not use on broken or sensitive skin, and stop using if you find that they are irritating your skin. A simple, yet wonderful invention!
Do you own a stroppy unwashed teenager? I have to admit that I do! Not cleaning her bedroom is one thing, she lives in the attic and I just keep reminding myself its a long way up those stairs and I don't really need to climb them and visitors never do....I just tell them my flower in the attic is deadly nightshade. Enough of my sweet little grunger..what about the product? Well, I think they are an answer to a Mother's prayer. Nipped down to Tesco and there they were on special at £1.33 (same as Superdrug) and so, thinking to myself that they would be handy for my hols, splashed out on 3 packets. The daughter of darkness, always descends from her garret to scour the contents of my shopping bag and wonders will never cease....immediate interest was shown. "Seen these on the telly." she said as she spirited away a packet to the dark recesses of her dank and angst filled space between the rafters. Half the packet gone, she is beginning to take on the odd human characteristic at last...one might almost believe she actually washes. Now, its far from me to suggest wipes should take over from good old fashioned soap and water, but hell they do the trick. I have tried them out too and am happily satisfied with them. The pack fits neatly into a handbag or pocket and away you go! The smell is nothing special...fresh though and that's what matters. One use around 6 pm sees me through until bedtime....anything between midnight and 3 am. They really are this summer's must have for anyone without the time for full scale ablutions and limited turn round time.
Everything is being made into wipes nowadays..... ‘Cif’ Window wipes, ‘No.7’ face moisterisers, ‘Domestos’ bleach wipes so it hasn’t been long for ‘Sure’ to come out with their deodorant wipe! I first saw an advert on TV for this new product, it has a young lady saving the world/boyfriend with a few kung-fu moves and high kicks then afterwards she changes, wipes herself with a deo wipe and is fresh and clean to meet her boyfriend at a ball (with pink hair). Hmmmm, they have to doo something about those adverts for a start, otherwise it’ll turn out like one of the ‘waaaaah bodyforrrmm - bodyform for yoouuuu! debacles. They come in a resealable pack of 14 wipes and I’ve only seen it in ‘oxygen’, but I use this flavour anyway, it has a nice, light almost 'just ironed' smell. They are reasonably large, enough to cover my great big puddies, and they say it’s to refresh and deodorise in one step, and it does - pretty much. They’re for us smelly blighters who go to the gym every morning and can’t be bothered to have a shower before going on to work. Or for us to take on holiday, and refresh during the day. They don’t leave the white powdery patches under your arms (or anywhere else for that matter) like a lot of deodorants have done, and it doesn’t seem to cause me any irritation. I'd say that they last about 4 hours before needing a top up, or re-wipe! Even though I haven’t been completely converted, I’ll buy them every now and again for my days out and for £1.33 in Superdrug (1/3 off at the moment) they’re worth taking on holiday with you, especially during camping holidays. Just don’t use them on your private bits, well that’s what they say!
Sure Deo Wipes are a new way to clean and refresh yourself, anytime, anywhere
