I recently purchased this anti-perspirant after seeing it on offer at my local Wilkinsons (98p) and after reading the front and back of the can, decided to give it a try. I do not usually purchase Sure, so I was not aware of how it would work, nevertheless, the money aspect made me want to try it out. Along with this, I also purchased the roll on alternative, which was also the mineral fresh.
The can is 150ml and in a nice shape and design. The colour scheme is green which is fresh looking, and displays pictures some pebbles/rocks on the front of the can, which I believe may enhance the fact that the spray is mineral fresh.
The Sure logo is very proudly displayed on the can and underneath in capital letters 'Long lasting protection' which is closely followed by a 48hr protection logo. Although I would not wear any anti-persirant for 48hrs anyway, I do tend to sweat a lot, especially in hot weather, so I like to purchase sprays that are a least 24hr.
The dispenser is very practical, and the can has a locking system, ensuring that the spray will not trigger off when in a place where things could put pressur onto the button on the top of the can, releasing the spray accidentally. On the back of the can it very clearly displays how you work the locking system, and all the relevant information about the deodorant and what it promises to deliver.
The spray itself is alcohol free and dermologically tested and contains microcapsules which release bursts of freshness throughout the day.
Just like I do each morning, I applied the roll on under my arms first and then the anti-persirant spray, and I must say the smell was, as promised, very fresh and not overpowering in the slightest. The spray lasted throughout the day and I did not have to top up my deodorant or spray perfume at all. By the evening time, it was beginning to ware off a little which was fine by me, but not those who were expecting 48hr protection, however, I accept everybody is different and this might work for those who do not sweat a lot.
Overall, I think this is a fabulous deodorant for a fabulous price. Will purchase again for sure.
I tend to buy which ever brand is on offer. This one was on offer at Morrisons about 3 weeks ago. The design of the bottle is not what I would describe as feminine, it actually looks more like a male product than female. There is a locking feature on the bottle which makes it impossible to spray accidently if carried in a bag or suitcase. It is also a good feature to prevent small children harming themselves. The smell of the product is very nice. The smell is very clean, crisp and fresh. I am impressed with the long lasting formula, it really does keep you fully protected all day without having to re apply. I wear a black uniform for work and have a couple of negative experiences regarding white marks. I find a quick mist under each arm and them repeat resolves this, rather than a longer spray. I bought this product with 50p off but the RRP is reasonable considering all the positive points. I am not sure I would pay full price for this item due to the white marks issue but I would consider buying it again should it be on offer.
I tend to buy the deodorants that are on 'offer' as they seem to be very expensive of late... But this one I keep coming back to as it smells so fresh & leaves none of the ghastly white marks on my clothes plus leaves me feeling fresh all day! Definitely recommended!! :)
I have been a loyal customer of Sure for a while now and can honestly say although I am always one for trying to get a bargain, I would never change.
I have always had a phobia/worry of body odour, being so paranoid that I always had both a roll on and a spray on, if I didn't, I always had visions I would start to smell!!! (I didn't of course) However I went away last year at the last minutes and forgot to take anything with me. Having borrowed some of this from my mum, I was really impressed with how good it was. It was quite a hot day yet several hours after the first spray, I could still clearly smell it. The smell is really fresh, clean and it lasts all day long.
I always purchase this as an aerosol, however there is also a roll on version available.
The product also now says it has Motionsense - "Microcapsules sit on the skin. Friction in the underam causes the mircrocapsules to break, releasing little bursts of fragrance throughout the day as you move!"
I am not an active person as such (i.e. no gym visits etc) however I am a busy working mum, so I am constantly on the go from 6am until 8pm, whilst I do not know if the MotionSense works, I always stay fresh all day long and still fresh when I have my morning shower.
Always remember to give is a good shake before spraying as if you don't it seems to come out very powdery, more than other brands, however I have made this mistake and managed to wipe off the white marks with a baby wipe.
It can be a bit pricey though, RRP is £1.99 for 250ml can, I always stock up when its on offer (most places do it at 2 for £3.00 and thats the worst deal I have seen it on), you can pick up smaller 150ml cans on offer for about 99p.
I have seen this available in all chemists and supermarkets.
Overall, I would recommend this product and give it 5 out of 5 stars!
Thanks for reading.

When it comes to deodorants and anti-perspirants I tend to waiver between aerosol sprays and roll-ons depending on when I've shaved and/or how quickly I need to head out the house. Recently I have been using the 'Sure Women Fresh with Natural Minerals' antiperspirant which my mom gave me for free before I left for university and I think I've used it for a long enough time to review it.
Currently the price of this aerosol is £2.89 at Boots or £2.61 at ASDA- that is if you're convinced to buy it after my review!
As with all Sure branded aerosol cans this has a rather unique shape, being a very long cylinder that narrows slightly in the middle. The cover is a mild green over most of the bottle with all the expected labelling and logos. Using the spray is as typical which is to press down on the green button at the top.
Whilst the packaging is very attractive and fitting for the "natural minerals" contained inside, my attention is however drawn to the claims. There are things of the usual importance such as that the product is alcohol free and dermatologically tested, but this product also says it has a "motionsense (tm) System" that releases bursts of energy whenever I move. In addition it also lasts for up to 48 hours. Obviously this sounds great for when you're out and about or doing physical work, right?
Sadly I was mistaken. Upon spraying the aerosol I notice that the smell is a light blossomy fragrance. Whilst it isn't an overpowering smell it's not really one of natural minerals or olive leaf extract as the back of the spray claims. It doesn't cause a reaction to my skin either. However the smell dissipates about five seconds after use and doesn't really give me the confidence that I smell fresh.
Even worse is that the anti-perspirant stops working as soon as I do a little bit of physical activity, and that might be only an hour after application! I begin sweating and there is no fragrance to mask any B.O. This means that the so-called "motionsense" gimmick does not work at all as my sweat remains throughout the day!
Overall this is a very disappointing offering from a very popular brand. It is completely ineffective at stopping sweat, let alone to last up to 48 hrs. I will use Sure again, but will certainly not pay for this particular anti-perspirant!

I am not particularly loyal to any one brand when it comes to buying deodorants and will usually just buy whichever looks good and is on offer at that particular time. Despite this I do look out for some names more than others and sure is one of those because I think it is generally a brand which can be trusted. One of my latest deodorant purchases was the sure women pure with natural mineral which claims to give 48 hour protection.
From memory I probably picked this item up from superdrug on a shopping trip where it cost around one pound and fifty pence on special offer. Having looked on their website I can advise that they seem to have this same promotion running again for anyone who may be interested after reading this review.
The deodorant comes in a spray bottle which is predominantly green with some white and pink on there too. The bottle has a curved shape to it and the top of the bottle is actually exposed rather than covered by a lid and has a funky looking button to move which allows you to spray or lock the spray. The bottle looks quite trendy as a result of this and it is not something that I would be embarrassed to pull out of my bag to use.
The packaging claims that the deodorant features a motionsense system which basically senses when you move around and then activates little microcapsules on your skin giving you bursts of freshness throughout the day. It uses natural minerals but has a slight orange blossom fragrance which doesn't really stand out in all honesty and apparently allows your skin to breathe. So all in all the deodorant sounds good and something that will be worth using right? Well my experience was that it wasn't as wonderful as it sounds!
Using the deodorant is easy as you just push the button downwards and spray it on your underarm from around 15 centimetres distance. What I noticed initially about the spray was that despite its claims of being natural the spray actually made me cough and splutter during each application which isn't ideal obviously. I also noticed that throughout the days where it was particularly warm I was not feeling as clean and sweat free as I would have hoped from a product such as this. This was a real disappointment to me because in the past I have had positive experiences with sure products but this wasn't the same at all. The scent would perhaps linger for a couple of hours but I would feel sweaty in this time and feel the need to reapply a lot.
Sadly I just didn't rate this product at all and there is no way that it would give you 48 hour protection should anyone want to try that out! I will definitely not be buying this particular deodorant again that is for sure! Should you be interested in this product it is available to buy from supermarkets and large chemists such as boots or superdrug.
