Advantages: Nice can, good price.

Disadvantages: Not very strongly fragranced.

As part of my daily routine I like to have a squirt of deodorant under the old arms after a shower. It helps keep me fresh and is something I have done since about the age of 10.

I usually chop and change with deodorants and like to buy whatever is on offer when I am shopping. A couple of weeks ago I spotted Sure Woman Radiant, its lovely purple tin and feminine shape attracted me to it over the others on the shelf and the fact that it was a £1 also went in its favour.

For my £1 I got 150ml of deodorant that claims to give 48 hour protection, not a claim I have tried out as 48 hours with out a shower seems a bit disgusting. The deodorant claims to offer long lasting protection, incredible fragrance, to be alcohol free and dermatologically tested.

When fresh out of the shower I grabbed the can, gave it a shake, unlocked it by pushing the spray bit forward with my thumb (it does not appear to lock back up) and sprayed it under each arm. The directions for use are to spray from 15cms away, I am not sure if I was exactly 15cms away from my under arms, but for the purpose of this review I should think I was about the right distance.

The spray is easy to press and the deodorant comes out in a nicely directed mist, it is very easy to spray. The deodorant comes out of the can in quite a dry mist and sticks to my under arms, it does not feel damp or too flaky.

The fragrance is described as radiant with scents of Peach and Wild Raspberry; to me it smells like Watermelon. Maybe I can smell Raspberry if I allow my imagination to run wild, but really I would have to say the fragrance is quite unremarkable.

I have used this after shaving and the deodorant does not sting or cause me any sort of irritation. I have not noticed any white marks left behind by the deodorant either.

As to its antiperspirant effects I would have to say it does quite a good job, I don't consider myself an overly sweaty person. When worn for general day to day tasks such as house work and pottering in the garden I have found it to prevent wet under arms and to keep the under arm area fresh till showering before bed.

The can has lasted me for over a month, I don't use it every day as I like to chop and change with the others I have in my draw. I think it was a £1 well spent. It's not a miracle cure for sweating, if I was to go to the gym (ha ha) or undertake something more strenuous I would probably favour my Dove deodorants.

In conclusion, it has a nice enough fragrance and can be combined with other fruity based body products with out clashing, it keeps my under arms fresh through out the day, I have not found any one who admits to testing out its 48 hour protection claims. I am happy enough with this deodorant and would happily buy it again for a £1.

Thank you for reading.

Summary: A nice smelling deodorant that keeps me fresh.
