I have tried a lot of different deodorants in my time, mainly because I am not brand loyal and I buy whatever is on offer when I go shopping. I have to say though that this is one I do particularly look out for to see if it is on offer because it is one of my favourites.
What Is Good About It?
Well the thing that I like most about this deodorant is the smell because it is absolutely gorgeous. It is so fresh and a little bit fruity rather than being florally, which is just what I like. I would describe it as being a bit like Davidoff's Cool Water perfume or perhaps CK One, so if you like that kind of scent, it is perfect for you.
The second thing that I like about it is the fact that it lasts well both in terms of how long it keeps you smelling fresh and how long the bottle lasts. It is a decent sized 250ml bottle and so lasts a while, especially because you don't need that much each time you use it. It claims to last 24 hours and I would just about agree with that because when I wear it I can still smell the deodorant under my arms when I wake up the following morning, which is nice.
What Is Not So Good About It?
At £3.29 a bottle, it is not the cheapest deodorant on the planet, although I would still say this is just about good value for money. I would definitely recommend keeping an eye out for it when it is on offer though, which it very often is in the big supermarkets.
The other thing that is not so good about it is the dreaded white patches. having said that, I only seem to get that for the first few times I use it after starting a new bottle. Perhaps the problem naturally gets better when the stuff inside hasn't been left to settle. It is also not as bad if you hold the bottle further away when you are spraying it.
Would I Recommend It?
Yes I would because it smells nice and works well. The couple of things that aren't so good about it aren't enough to make me not recommend it - although I would, like i said, suggest keeping an eye out for it when it is on special offer.
I buy lots of deodorants.. not that i'm really stinky but because i get them while they are on offer. Hence why i have bought this one and to be honest i was pleasently suprised. The smell is great it doesn't sting when you have just shaved. It doesn't flake at the slightest spray and leaves no white marks on dark clothing. i have a very demanding job where i am on the go practically all day, i have problems with majoritory of deodorants as they do not last the whole of my shift. More often then not i can smell sweat at the end of my shift. To my suprise this one held out i would definately use this one again it's one to rely on whether you are doing alot of physical activity or going to a posh do with a black dress on it will not let you down.
I wont buy any deoderant but Sure and usally go for the non white marks one.
Due to them being expensive though I do tend to buy which ever is on offer. Hence why I bough this one. It is gentle on the skin even after shaving and does not sting on application. If you put a lot on then it tends to build up with a white residue which cracks away when you move. it is best to let it drop off though as it will only end up on the side of your top if not!
I wear a tight black top as uniform at work and so a good deoderant is essential! This deoderant will leave white marks so either leave a bit of time between application and putting clothes on or dont put so much deoderant on.
This product claims to be body responsive, if you get hot and sweat whilst wearing it it will respond to you and star working again.
I'm not kee on this as you get a waft of deoderant when you are getting sweaty, everyone else will smell this and so know that you are sweating. Not good if it is nervous sweating!!!!
This retails at about £2.20 a bottle and normally lasts a bout a year. It is good to stop perspiration and smells but dies cause white marks sometimes so beware,!!!
For years I would change deodorant pretty much every time I went to buy more, depending on what was available/on offer or any friend's recommendations but since trying the Sure Biorhythm body responsive deodorant I have just stuck to the one brand. I usually buy the standard 250ml can but there is also a 150ml available which is great for a spare in my bag.
The reason I first tried this deodorant was after borrowing some from a friend. I find a lot of women's deodorants either have smells that are unpleasant due to being too sickening or overpowering or have no smell at all. I find that the Biorhythm deodorant has a very pleasant and fresh smell which lasts throughout the day without being too strong or fighting with my perfume for attention. I have literally never managed to find a deodorant with a smell that I enjoy so much before!
I don't generally have a problem with being too sweaty so apart from a few very poor deodorants I've tried, most of the ones I've used have always done the trick and this is the same, although it is longer lasting than most. I don't have any issues with white marks on my clothes from this, or any stains on my lighter clothing.
The deodorant can has an on/off slider at the top to stop it spraying rather than a lid which I much prefer as most of my aerosol lids end up getting lost anyway. The deodorant sprays very quickly when used so it is quick and easy to apply. This is a great deodorant and the only people I wouldn't recommend it to are those who prefer theirs to be fragrance-free.
I picked up a couple of these deodorants - one of which was the Cool Blue option and the other was a pink can that I've put on the backburner until this can runs out - in Superdrug after spotting them on a good deal. Up until recently, I'd been using a roll-on but in my rush to get ready in time for work, this was taking too long to dry so I decided to opt for some kind of spray version instead. I've used Sure products in the past and found them to be fine so I was happy to spot the deal and snap up a couple.
The overall of the Cool Blue spray is quite fresh and although there is a definite scent to this deodorant, it's not overpowering enough to clash with the perfume that I usually spray around five minutes afterwards. Unlike some other spray antiperspirants that I've used, the smell doesn't make you want to choke within seconds of spraying either. In my house, we tend to give the bathroom and surrounding areas a very wide berth for five minutes or so after my Dad has sprayed his deodorant as the smell is strong enough to really catch in the back of your throat and make you want to cough so I'm pleased to say that the smell is much less intense here.
Without going into too many details, I tend to sweat a bit more than average so I need to be able to rely on an antiperspirant to keep my dry and sweat free. As well taking a long time to dry, I was also noticing that my previous roll-on wasn't really measuring up in that department and that I was prone to having wet armpits a few hours after applying. I've been using this particular antiperspirant for several weeks now and despite the fact that I spray this at around half 8 in the morning before I leave for work and don't get another chance to use it again until around 5.15 in the evening when I get back home, I've not noticed any wetness under my arms (even when I've been wearing a top, jumper and fleece to stay warm in our very cold building!).
All in all, this is proving to be a more than adequate antiperspirant spray, even for someone like me who does sweat a bit more than your average person. This isn't the cheapest antiperspirant spray on the market at full price (£2.44 at Superdrug, according to their website) but it does exactly what I expect from such a product and I will certainly be buying this one again if I can take advantage of offers and stock up.
