This is not the deodorant I normally use however, enticed by the attractive compact packaging, cheaper price and pleasing scent, I decided to give it a go. At first I smothered my underarms with it, which left them feeling wet and greasy so I tried using less than I normally do and found this worked just as well, without leaving the greasy residue. This is an added bonus as the bottle lasts longer than my usual brand. The floral fragrance was long-lasting and fairly strong, so I felt confident to go out without wearing perfume. The anti-perspirant works well in my normal daily activities, however I play a lot of sport and after a heavy training session my underarms did get quite wet, although my shirt seemed to smell of deodorant rather than sweat. The compact packaging meant it was easy to carry in almost any handbag in case a top-up was required but this wasn't necessary as I thought the deodorant lasted well, although I don't think I would trust it to give the 48 hours of protection which the packaging boasts. Overall, I was very pleased with this purchase and would definitely choose it again over my usual brand.
This product had some great features such as how compact it is. I loved the way it was lightweight and you could slip it in your handbag without it being noticeable. However, the actual product itself had some flaws. The screw on nozzle top kept falling off after use, and i felt quite cheaply made, although this was expected for a deodorant product. As a roll on antiperspirant, it was quite greasy and lingered on your arm pit for quite a while after the initial use. The fragrant smell was a good aspect though, it was like a perfume and a deodorant rolled into one. I found the product itself worked reasonably well, it left a wet mark on my shirt after use, however it did stop sweat for several hours, but this didn't include doing physical exercise, where the deodorant did lag. I would recommend the product for its handy size and shape, however if you're looking for the best sweat stopper, this isn't for you.
After many years of using antiperspirant sprays i decided it was time to try a roll on. As Sure was the brand i would usually choose due to it being most reliable [in my opinion] i decided to go for it and give it a try. At first i didn't like the sticky residue it left under my arms and it got onto my t-shirt too. But that was quick enough to dry up so i wasn't too unhappy. It came out of my T-shirt very easily in a normal wash too.
It had been a particularly hot day and i was quite clammy, usually i would be applying another spray of antiperspirant but that day i took a quick sniff and all i could smell was my deodorant! I didn't need to apply ANY extra for the whole of that day. I'm not a sweaty person at all but i still like an extra spray now and again when i am clammy just to be sure as when i am really hot i can notice a slight smell but with this roll on there was no smell at all. It is such good value for money and i would highly recommend it.
Being used to sprays and using them for years, i would go through about two tins per month on average but i have been using the roll on for a little over a month now and i still have plenty left to last me another week or two. In fact, i have already been out and bought another one ready for when this runs out! It was cheaper than the spray too which is another added bonus.
Thank you Sure for another amazing product, I can say for sure that i will not be going back to sprays anytime soon!
I used to always opt for the anti-perspirant spray style deodorant but I found myself becoming more and more impatient and therefore ending up with lots of white lines on my clothes! Therefore about a year ago I made the decision to go back to a roll on style deodorant. I usually buy Nivea deodorant, namely the pearl variety but if I cannot find this on offer then I will deviate away from my preferred brand.
I picked up the Sure roll on from B&M a few weeks ago for 89p. It was the cheapest named brand roll on available and I had no hesitation in choosing this. I thought the scent would be quite pleasant because of the 'brights' description. The packaging is exactly the same as shown above and I liked the pink detailing. The label has metallic pink and also flowers making me believe that the scent would be a floral smell.
To use the deodorant you simply unscrew the lid which is at the bottom and then roll the rollerball over your underarms. The product will then be dispensed evenly under your arms. I find that a perfect amount of the deodorant is dispensed and I am left with a thick, even layer of the product over my skin. The deodorant is completely dry within about 30 seconds which allows me to get dressed. The scent of the product is floral but it isn't too overpowering, it has a fresh, quite summery flowery scent. I think the scent would suit most women to be honest. I love it and I am in my early 20s but I know my mum would like it too.
I tend to apply the deodorant in the morning. It protects me well throughout the day and I do notice that it is protecting me when I take part in physical activity or I get particularly stressed. I don't tend to detect the floral scent throughout the day but I don't get any bodily smells coming through either! I find the deodorant protects me well and I rarely need to apply the product again throughout the day.
I really like this deodorant and I will definitely buy it again. The scent is nice and it protects me well throughout the day. The price of 89p in B&M is very reasonable and the product lives up to the well known named brand of Sure.
