In terms of fragrance this scores average. It's not the best, but there's nothing wrong with it by any means.Yes, it is one of the better deodourants I've used. But it claims to last for 48 hours and this most certainly isn't the case. Then again, most people shower within a 48 hour period! And it tends to last for the whole day so can't complain too much.
I have never found a deodorant that I liked enough to stick with until I found this one. I'm not normally a huge fan of sure, finding that it clumps into white powder on your armpit most of the time and I don't usually find it to be a good anti-perspirant. This deodorant however works like a treat! No white powder on my armpits anymore! I find that I don't ever get sweaty armpits when wearing this, even when I am boiling, and I love both scents that are available (though my personal preference is pure) It's often on offer in big retailers, making it extremely good value for money. I also like the fact that it is with natural minerals as it makes me feel like I am doing my skin a favour! I've recommended it to all my friends who now use it and love it as much as I do. Best deodorant on the market in my opinion.
Months ago I wrote a review on Sure deodorant, exalting the virtues of it and explaining that after trying out many other brands of anti perspirant in the past, I always came back to Sure, as I found the effects didn't wear off after a while like many other deodorants. Well, usually I buy the no white marks range from Sure, but having a Tesco voucher and seeing that these Sure Natural Minerals anti perspirant was on offer at the same time, I decided to give it a go.
My aerosol from this range is slightly different from the one in the picture above, I presume it is an updated version, although there is still that distinct grass green colour which makes it stand out on the shelf compared to the other Sure anti perspirants on offer. I purchased the Sure for Women Natural Minerals anti perspirant, which claims to have 0% alcohol, and off 48hour active freshness. THis is also supposed to have a motionsense system which Sure claims means that tiny microcapsules are activated throughout the day as you move around maintaining freshness throughout the day. It also contiains natural mineral (hence the name) as well as 'extract of orange blossom'. Other claims are that it lets your skin breathe and is dermatologically tested.
At the time the best offer was for a purchase for 2 of these aerosols, and I am now almost finished the second of them, and I won't be purchasing them again. As much as I have always like Sure, and felt it to offer me the best protection as an anti perspirant, this particular range just doesn't work for me. Yes, I am on my second canister, but I only tend to put it on, on the days that I am not going very far and am less likely to be sweating, just to use the canister up, as I hate wastage. On the days previously where I was out walking or doing something in any way active, I noticed as the day went on, firstly I didn't feel as fresh, often feeling sticky, but sometimes by the evening, I felt a little whiff from my underarms, meaning a second shower by the end of the day. This has not happened to me before with the other anti perspirants from Sure. Therefore in terms of all those claims of motion sensing and releasing microcapsules to keep your fresh throughout the day, as well as offering up to 48 hour protection (which I haven't tested out) I really cannot say that this has lived up to its claims in my experience. I will continue to purchase the main Sure range of anti perspirants, which always work for me, but I will stay clear of this again.
I have seen this product on offer many times so i thought i may as wel buy it as i don't like paying out too much any type of sprays as once you've used them there gone and you have to go buy another so i prefer to get them when there on offer as with being a student every penny counts this one cost me a pound for a 150ml can in which you can get from various places such as Morrisons, Asda, Tesco, Savers ect.
I love to smell nice and this one has a really strong summery smells and i find that it does last a long time as when i have gone out i find it still smells strong when i get back, i find it does last longer that most.
It comes in a dark green can that really stands out so it is easy to spot on the shelve which i find really useful when your in a hurrry, it has 'Sure' written on the fron of the can so you can easily see what make it is.
The only problem that i found with it is that it does leave a slight white mark so you need to go carful to make sure that you don't get it on your clothes also your underarms look a bit white too i genrally just give my underarms a slight rub with my fingers which removes it but still leaves the strong smell of the antiperspirant.
Overall i do think it is a good product and it is one that i would buy again as i realy do like the smell and it does last a long time.
I am someone who is a bit particular about the perspirant I use. There have been some that I have used in the past which have been rubbish or do not even smell nice (like an anti-perspirant should??)
However, I am never unimpressed by Sure. This particular variety smells really fruity and fresh. I think this is the best part about this anti-perspirant; it smells amazing and fresh and really nice on your underarms.
One thing I must say about the product, is that it does leave quite a bit of white residue when you spray it. This does not bother me too much; you can either spray it from further away or just live with it. I would rather a white residue than smelly underarms! However, you should be careful especially if wearing black clothes.
In terms of its protection, I never find myself smelling bad when I've used this. I dont find myself being too much of a sweaty person anyway, but of course without a great anti-perspirant, this could be debatable! I find Sure to be a life-saving deodrant; I always carry a small bag of this around with me as well.
I get through an awful lot of anti-perspirants. I don't consider myself to be a smelly person but the thought of actually being thought of as one actually terrifies me lol.
Now I bought two cans of this on offer in Asda for a barginus price of a pound on special offer way back though usually these cost more like a couple of pounds per can in all good chemists and supermarkets etc.
The can of this is long and cylinder shaped and holds 250ml of the product. It is a dark green can with a light blue tick on the front of it and we are told in white and light blue writing that it is New Sure 'Women' Natural Minerals 'Fresh' and that it is 'Protection that allows your skin to breathe' and offers 48h protection and is of course an anti-perspirant and contains 0% alcohol. On the back of the can we are told a bit about the product and how to use it, cautions and ingredients are listed as is the size stated and contact details for Unilver are given. This is an aerosol design of can so you push the button to the top of it and just under that there is a slide silver button so you can turn the can on and off from being used which is a great little safety feature of this.
A Bit About The Product According To The Information Listed on The Back Of The Can:
With minerals and extract of olive leaf
Long lasting protection - intelligently formulated to work in sync with your body
Alcohol free, pH balanced and dermatologically tested
All you do to use this is to spray it to the armpits at a slight distance. It sprays out very fast indeed but isn't wet and is more like a moisturising mist really. It dries into the skin quickly, is suitable to use straight after shaving thankfully and leaves no white marks on me and/or my clothes.
This leaves my skin feeling unsticky and sort of normal really with a hint of a moisturised feeling that is really comfortable without putting any kind of transfer of any reside anywhere near my clothes.
The fragrance of this is rather strong and quite feminine without being girly. To me it just gives off a plain and fresh sea-fresh soft of fragrance opposed to florals or fruits and that smell is nice enough though not the best 'Sure' fragrance I have ever smelt, it just isn't my favorite. The fragrance lingers on the skin though for a good few hours in a pleasant and not in your face way so all round it is a nice product for 'Sure' lol.
As for offering 48hr protection this really does. I shower and/or bathe daily and apply this often however a couple of weeks back I was stuck in bed feeling really ill and not once did I get the opportunity to reapply this or get to the bathroom and I'm happy to report that although I did not feel really very clean I had no whiff of BO at all!
This is great for ladies who sweat a lot and exercise as not only does it seem to keep smells at bay it just works really hard for you and although the scent isn't my favorite I can highly recommend this for sweaty Betty's as I really trust it!
..SURE WOMEN DEODORANT..
Sure minerals deodorant comes in 2 different sizes, prices are usually around the following:
I think this is a decent price to pay for a deodorant, this provides everything a deodorant should, dryness!
Sure natural minerals deodorant comes in a long green tin.
On the front is the Sure logo, underneath that is a blue tick, this represents 'fresh'. If you get the pink tick I think this represents 'Pure', I have to say I don't really know what these mean, I have tried both and they both do the exact same thing, the pink tick can smells a little more floral is all.
Underneath the tick is some useful information, what it does, how to use, ingredients and so on..
To use the deodorant you simply push down on the top, there is also a lock on the deodorant so it can not be used by your little girl or boy wanting to try out the new thing on mummy's table, it will also stop it coming out if your carrying it around with you in your handbag and you press down on it or something!
To use the lock simply slide it left or right, keep it on left and nothing will come out.
Overall, when I look at this can I instantly get that this deodorant will be very fresh and smell nice, the can also looks very natural.
SURE MINERAL DEODORANT 'FRESH'
From the back of the tin:
"NEW SURE WITH NATURAL MINERALS COMBINES THE FORCES OF SCIENCE WITH NATURE..
- With mineral and extract of olive leaf.
- Long lasting protection -intelligently formulated to work in sync with your body.
- Alcohol free, pH balanced and dermatologically tested."
I try lots of deodorants out, I like to mix and match! I have used this about 5/6 times.
Well, did it live it up to the 48 hour protection?
Yes it did! I love the smell of this deodorant, very fresh and clean smelling whilst on the skin, it also makes my arms feel quite soft.
I wouldn't say I sweat a lot anyway, but it does tend to get quite damp under my armpits! especially in very hot weather and physically activity, the deodorant is great at keeping you feeling dry, there is no dampness what so ever during the day, I have never kept this on for 48 hours straight though because I shower everyday so I couldn't tell you if the 48 hour protection thing works, but I find 2 sprays does me all day!
The only downfall is a lot of white powder comes out on my skin and clothes so I have to be quite careful when using it, other than that though its a great deodorant!
Well done sure, I give you a tick ✓
I have tried several different anti perspirants in the past few months. I tend to buy what is on offer. This particular Sure was on offer in Tesco for just a £1 and the aerosol contained 150ml of the spray. You can also get a larger can that contains 250ml this is normally around the £3 mark. You can also purchase Sure in all supermarkets as well as Boots.
Sure Natural Minerals comes in two varieties 'Pure' which has a pink tick and 'Fresh' which has a blue tick on the can. The aerosol itself is green in colour and has a spray cap at the top. It also has a lock switch which you slide across to stop you from accidently spraying the aerosol while it is in your bag.
On the back of the aerosol Sure describe this as containing natural minerals and extracts which are combined with the latest anti perspirant technology. Sure claim it offers 48 hour protection and allows the skin to breathe.
The main reason I was drawn to trying this was mineral products have been big news in the beauty industry of late. The minerals in this anti perspirant are meant to naturally absorb sweat in comparison to traditional one which often contain talc and alcohol.
To use this you simply spray about 15cm from each underarm. The spray is fine and you only need a short squirt to provide adequate coverage. I have tried both of these. The blue variety smells fresh it reminded me of cut grass! whereas the pink one has a floral smell. This is my favourite as it is very feminine.
After using this I didn't sweat all day and when I got hot I could still smell the product. It didn't leave any white marks either. I didn't try to go 48 hours without respraying as I shower or bath everyday and reapply when I get out. It doesn't sting after shaving and it didn't leave a white powder under my arms as some products I have tried have done in the past.
You can also get this anti perspirant in a roll on variety if you prefer.
The first time I tried this, I borrowed my aunts deodorant! I love it because it smelled rather apply to me! And I'm a big fan of thigns that have a good smell to it. So I felt lie I went around smelling of green apples.
I found this product to be long wearing and smelled great. I felt no real need to re apply the it during the day which I did with other ones which was a bonus. It has been one of these ones that I have gave myself a general spray with and that people have asked what I'm wearing and that it smells nice and then I tell them that it's sure nutural minerals and they are suprised! So I have reccomnded this product to many people!
The thing I love about this tin is the lock! The fact I can lock it and stop it from spraying all over the place gives me peace of mind when I stick it in my handbang thats full off stuff.
It's also another product that I find doesnt leave any white marks on clothes which is brilliant because there is nothing more embarrasing people pointing out that you have a white mark on your t shirt from your anti Antiperspirant spray!
It's also good for my skin, not irritation, no red marks. Smells wonderful. What more could you ask for?
Sure is normally my preferred brand of deoderant so when I saw this new bottle on offer I thought I would give it a go and Im afraid I was very disspaointed indeed.
The green tin bottle is 0% alcohol, ph balanced and dermatologically tested, it has mineral and extract of olive leaf.
It comes in the standard Sure bottle that provides you with a button at the top which you press to spray the deoderant and a switch underneath to lock it if you are putting it in your bag.
The scent isn't very appealing at all, it's not a bad smell but it's not nice either and there is nothing special about it at all, I couldn't even tell you something it smelt like because it's just plain!
After I had used the deoderant one morning I had clumps of white bits appearing all day from under my arm and I was wearing a black top at the time and the white marks were huge which made me look terrible.
I was quite dissapointed that Sure have brought out such a poor deoderant as they normally have quite high standards, I will definately not be buying this one again.
I've been through using a lot of many different anti persirants in the past year! So when I found this sure for women recently at Tesco's, I decided to give it a try!
I snapped up one of these for just 85p from Tesco! Which at the time was the cheapest on the shelves! Even when comparing it to others which were on offer.
This sure anti perspirant comes in a 150ml which I bought for 85p although I've heard it is also available in larger bottles. I've not seen these although I am eager to find them!
The bottle is green which caught my eye straight away, being my favourite colour! The colouring of the bottle makes this stand out from the rest as most the others it's placed near are plain white or dressed in lighter colours.
This sure anti perspirant comes with a lock button! I was so pleased with this feature as I've never used it on any other bottles before! The lock is very easy to use by simply slipping it right to unlock and left to lock.
This lock feature makes sure no spray is waste by accidentally pushing it in your bag, and it's a perfect lock away from my sister who didn't realise it had a lock!
The lid to the bottle has an easy to press spray which isn't too weak. It is easy to push yet doesn't give out huge bursts of spray all at once.
The product; ....
This anti perspirant claims to have a 48 hour protection, contain 0% alcohol and give your skin protection whilst allowing it to breath.
I can back up that this spray is kind to skin; it doesn't sting even when used after shaving.
However the anti perspirant doesn't last 48 hours for me! I use it daily as needed and I would probably give this product a 12 hour lasting if that!
Although I'm not complaining as this is plenty enough for me and for the price, I didn't expect more.
I picked up a 'fresh' smelling bottle however there were others. I do like the smell of this spray it does reflect 'fresh' for me and to me it smells like strong soap with a hint of floral in there, giving it the girly scent! The scent of the spray does cling on to you for quite a long time, that has the 48 hours holding power at least!
Overall, I will be using this anti perspirant again. It doesn't last the 48 hours as stated but it is useful for me and I think the price is great! The bottle size is also perfect for carrying around and the smell lasts all day.
I would recommend this anti perspirant although I don't think it would be suitable for everybody.
Thank you for reading, I also post on Ciao
The product comes is a green aerosol can advising that the product offers 48 hour protection.
The product has a pleasant but slightly overpowering smell.
It is easy to apply and dries quickly but does leave a white residue that rubs off onto clothes so beware if you are planning on wearing black! The residue does come off with a wet wipe but this is inconvenient when you are in a hurry as many people inevitably are in the morning.
The product does not work very well as an antiperspirant and in fact on the first day that I used it I experienced the rather unpleasant sensation of a bead of sweat making its way down my arm. It was a very hot day though so I persevered with the product. The next day I wore a t-shirt and not two hours after applying the product I had embarrasing sweat patches under my arms. I decided to try again with a vest but again my under arms were damp. It does not even work as a deodorant as there is also a musky smell which is unpleasant.
Before you assume that I am just a sweaty betty who cannot be helped I do not usually have a problem with odour or excessive sweating when using other brands. As for the 48 hour claim, the product does not even work for 2 hours!
I have discovered over the last couple of years that roll on deoderants are definately much more effective at sweat control, but I've felt that this benefit is outweighed by how long they take to dry - I simply don't have 10 minutes spare in the mornings to wait for my deoderant to dry! Therefore, I have stuck to aerosols most of the time.
I bought this particular deoderant to try because it was on offer in Tesco recently, going for £1.35 instead of £2.70. I find the original price hard to justify for a 250ml can of deoderant to be honest; other brands are much cheaper.
As for the product itself, the information on the back of the can promises minerals with extract of orange blossom, long lasting protection and a product that is alcohol free, pH balanced and dermatologically tested. The latter promise is one that I like to have in a deoderant, as I have quite sensitive skin.
I'm not really sure what the benefit of having minerals in your deoderant are exactly, but I can tell you that the orange blossom adds a very nice smell, even though I'm not usually a fan of anything orangey. It has a fresh scent that doesn't shock you in the morning as some other deoderants do with an overpowering smell.
As for the second promise of long lasting protection, I'm afraid this product does not deliver in the slightest. I was very disappointed considering the expensive price. I found that the anti-perspirant element simply did not work and very little protection was given.
As I sprayed it on, it also gave a thick white layer which would easily rub off onto my clothes (do not wear anything black with this deoderant!). I thought it might just be because it was a new can, but it contunued with every use, no matter how far away I sprayed or how much a shook the can before use.
Overall, I can only say that this product is very poor. It has it's benefit's with being alcohol free etc, but the whole point of purchasing an anti-perspirant was not met. I would not recommend this product!
Sure Natural Minerals Antiperspirant......
I used to find myself buying roll on deodorants all the time and it has only been the last few years that I have used these spray cans. I think the main reason for that was the absolute waste you get from having this large can put in the rubbish bin every month so I am not really sure why I have started using them really.
This Sure Natural Minerals really grabbed my eye in the supermarket because it was n a special offer where a can was priced at £1 instead of the usual selling price of £2.49 p. This was one of Morrison's "better than half price" offers. This price is pretty good when comparing it to other branded antiperspirants so I picked up a can of the "Pure" type instead of the other option of getting the "Fresh" scent.
The main selling point of this particular antiperspirant is that it has natural extracts which is absorbed by the skin and the deodorant allows the skin to breath. It also claims to have 48 hour protection and is inspired by nature.
The directions for use for this item as really what you would do with any spray deodorant in the fact that you hold the can under your arm pits around 6 inches away from the skin and spray a small amount under. You shouldn't get too close to the skin as this is when the white powder appears and thus not providing adequate protection.
The smell of the antiperspirant is rather nice and clean smelling. It has a light floral aroma which does indeed seem very natural. I can't say that since I have been using it I have actually noticed any real improvement in the skin under my arms but I don't feel that the skin there needs much improvement anyway.
The protection that the Sure deodorant gives is a good one and unlike some of the other cheaper antiperspirants, I feel that I need not worry about getting hot and sweaty or embarrassingly wet. The sure naturals antiperspirant gives a great smell and a great protection so I could really ask for no more.
I don't think I would buy this deodorant again at the full price but I certainly would get it again if I saw it on a special offer such as when I purchased this one. I would highly recommend this spray and give it a score of 5 out of 5 stars as there really are no downsides to using it.
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you.
Many thanks for taking the time to read.
