My sister bought me a Ted Baker gift set for Christmas which included this Origami body spray. I had used this one before so was pleased to receive it.
~ Packaging ~
The body spray comes in a pink, almost purple, transparent plastic bottle. The bottle has flat sides and reminds me of one of the Victoria’s Secret body splashes that I have seen in numerous different youtube beauty videos.
I really like the bottle.
~ Price ~
Mine was received as part of a gift, but the standard 150ml bottle is available for £5.50 from Boots, but often comes up on their 3 for 2 deals.
~ In use ~
The body spray describes itself on the back of the bottle as ‘a vivacious body spray of rose, sandalwood, juicy raspberry and a touch of vanilla’.
The scent is very woody, but the floral side is revealed once the spray settles down a bit. I can’t honestly say I can pick out the raspberry note in this. I’d say it is quite a mature scent.
The spray is released in a fine mist and it feels really cool and refreshing on my skin so it is great for freshening up during the day.
I am currently using the 50ml bottle, which is a really handy size for carrying with you in your handbag, but I am wary of carrying around this sort of body spray with a twist off spray dispenser as I have had one leak in my bag in the past.
I find that the scent lasts on my skin for around 2 hours before disappearing, which I find quite impressive for a body spray.
I think this body spray would suit women of all ages, but I think some younger girls might find it a bit heavy for their tastes.
I would consider repurchasing this body spray again in the future. It is a lovely scent and it lasts well for a body spray.
~Origami Body Spray~
This body spray is part of the Origami beauty range offered by Ted Baker. If you wish to use the matching products, you may purchase a body wash, bath foam and a body soufflé. This body spray is designed to offer instant refreshment to your skin. The scent includes notes of sandalwood, rose, vanilla and raspberry.
Regardless of which size of body spray you buy, the bottle design is the same. A rectangular, purple tinted plastic bottle houses the clear body spray. There is a pump dispenser included and the bottle has two labels. The front label has a purple and pink origami style design whilst the back label includes the important product information. The bottle can be recycled and this body spray has a 24month shelf life from first use.
~Where To Buy~
Origami Body Spray is available from Boots and www.boots.com. A 150ml retails at £5.00 (current offer - £3.33). If you would prefer a handbag/travel sized bottle, there is a 50ml size available which retails at £2.50 (current offer - £1.67). Both products are currently out of stock on the Boots website but are available from any Boots store that offers the Ted Baker range.
My Mum and Dad bought me a gorgeous Ted Baker set for my birthday last month. After Mum heard me praising the contents of the set, she treated me to a few other Ted Baker products from Boots - one being this body spray. As I was impressed by the scent of the other Origami products, she knew I would like to try the body spray. I have a 150ml bottle but I am tempted to purchase the small bottle to take on our upcoming holiday as I like it so much!
The bottle design is simple and attractive. The 150ml bottle is a little big for carrying around in my handbag so the smaller bottle does prove to be more practical for transporting. I like to use body sprays through the day as a way of keeping my scent smelling gorgeous. The stronger scented body sprays are ideal for using alone on my skin without the need for any additional perfume. I find this to fall into this category and I often choose to apply this over my skin after using the matching body soufflé to create a long lasting scent.
This body spray is lovely to use. I apply directly onto my skin and it sprays out like a fine mist. One spray is enough to cover quite a bit of skin and whilst it feels quite damp on contact with my bare skin, it absorbs very quickly. My skin is left feeling very refreshed after spraying this on and soft to the touch. I have experienced no irritation from using this body spray which is excellent as some body sprays are often too harsh for my sensitive skin.
This is quite a highly perfumed body spray. It doesn't have that cheap, awful alcohol smell which I appreciate. A gorgeous scent is immediately evident on my skin and it compliments the other Origami products perfectly. The scent is beautifully feminine and quite fresh which makes it ideal for use on warmer days. The main scent is an Oriental twist of rose and vanilla with a slightly tart, raspberry undertone. It is light and airy. Neither the vanilla or the rose overpower each other and it is simply a gorgeous scent and has a pleasant strength on my skin.
I love this body spray. It is gentle on my skin and smells really lovely and feeling refreshed. I can smell this on my skin for a few hours if worn alone or longer if used over the body soufflé. It lasts longer than a regular body spray such as Impulse and that makes it worth the higher cost in my opinion. It is more like a light EDT than a basic body spray and is of a high quality. My bottle will last quite a while.
Highly recommended - thanks for reading :)
