“ Brand: Tesco / Spray / Type: Body Spray / Suitable for: Body „
Now that I have a part-time job at university I've been extra self-conscious lately with regards to my body odour. Whilst I do apply deodorant/anti-perspirant every morning after my shower, by midday I've noticed it's not always enough when I'm carrying books and the like around campus (I work in our uni library if you're wondering). So a few weeks back I checked out the body sprays at my local Tesco looking for something to give myself a quick perfume boost during the day. Initially I wanted to buy something by Impulse, but then I spotted the Tesco body sprays in Pink and Lilac. At 46p each, I thought I couldn't go too far wrong by trying one of them out!
The lilac body spray is in fact a bold dark purple colour all over with the letters for lilac horizontally down the bottle. In my opinion this helps the product stand out very much on the shelves, so not bad for something so cheap!
The back has a description of the product and all the safety instructions seen on aerosol cans. It's worth noting here this product thankfully hasn't been tested on animals and the can is recyclable once empty.
Obviously, to spray you shake the can then press down the nozzle making sure it's about 15cm away. Pressing down is easy and a large jet of spray comes out so it's easy to cover your body in one swoop. The smell is a mix of different floral ones and is very strong and pleasant indeed- when I use it in the mornings it's like my clothes have been washed with fabric conditioner! It doesn't appear to irritate my skin either!
Sadly this body spray is very lacking in staying power. I'd say that the smell dissipates after two or three minutes, although I can sometimes still sniff it in my clothes five minutes later so it definitely lingers. Nevertheless, I'm mostly satisfied with this body spray given the price I bought it for, so it's perhaps best for a quick smell boost if you're on the go.
