“ Brand: The Body Shop / Suitable for: Body „
I have always been a big fan of the body shop and tried loads of their products over the years. I am a very active person who was looking for a really good deodorant. my skin is also sensitive so I can't use something that's too harsh. The minute I walked into the body shop and saw aloe vera printed on the deo bottle I knew I had to give it a try. It is said aloe vera has soothing, healing and moisturising properties.
It retails at around £4.99 which may cost more than most deos but don't put a price tag on quality. Body shop prides itself on making safe products and some of the products out there contain harmful chemicals that can be absorbed into your skin.
The roll on is practically odourless and long lasting, it doesn't irritate my skin especially when i perspire and no white marks. So you can lift your arms with confidence. I am very happy with it and will continue to use it.
I was recently given a bag containing unused Body Shop products. The donor just didn't like Body Shop and had ammased quite a large collection of unwanted creams and potions, over the years. Among the other products was a collection of White Musk Perfume and body spray (pump action bottle). I decided to try it out even though I don't usually like 'musky' perfumes. Firstly, I discovered that it isn't just a straightforward body spray. It's a deodorant and antisperspirant as well. I found it reasonably effective but I did need to reapply it after about three hours. From an 'antiperpirant' point of view, I didn't find this acceptable. I like to be able to rely on a deodorant/antiperspirant for at least 8 hours. This product also comes in a roll on pack. There was one of these in the bag of goodies, but I didn't try it as I have an aversion to roll-on deodorants because of (real or imagined) hygeine reasons. You can, apparently, get refills for the roll-on pack if you do like using this type of product. The perfume of the body spray is only slightly musky. It isn't heavy and clinging like some other musks tend to be. I actually found it slightly floral! (It made me sneeze as well, so if you have a sensitive 'hooter' you might like to bear this in mind). The body spray costs three pound fifty but I think it is expensive for what it is. If you compare the price and quality with a product like Natrel, or even Dove, you will find these products much cheaper. The perfume lasts for about the same time but both alternative choices last much longer and give better deodorant protection. Personally, I prefer to use a deodorant/antisperspirant that I can trust to protect me all day. I don't want to worry that I may be an hour late in reapplying my deodorant.
Wow, I have found a wonderful new deodorant, It is brilliant and happens to be my favourite fragrance in the world~ White Mush, and it is Anti-perspirant, not just a body spray. It keeps me dry all day, it comes in the form of a roll on. It is such a good price aswell, just £3.00, and best of all, you can also buy roll-om refils for it. I really recomend this product, not only does it do the job of keeping you dry, and smeling nice, but it makes you smell really nice.
