The Body Shop: Aqua Lily Body Spray, £6.85 for 100ml
Firstly I consider this to be my signature scent (even if it's in the body spray form), secondly it seemed fitting that I'm also named after the water lily - a sign possible? :D
The name of the fragrance caught my eye and when I tried it out in the store everything clicked into place. Let me explain, I use fragrances to both stay fresh and evoke inspiration so this one seemed to be 'the scent', but the price is a lot more than what I'm used to spending so I use it sparingly (especially if used on an everyday basis).
Aqua Lily is the fabulous concoction of fresh, slightly floral, yet warm, and feminine in a sophisticated manner- none of that girly stuff. I tend to wear this just on my wrists as I find it too overpowering as an all-over fragrance, though The Body Shop does suggest 'spritz all-over after shower or bath', as well as 'spritz-on freshness with joyful Aqua Lily scent'. The Body Shop explain the spell differently 'Green apple, watermelon, dewy bamboo, tangerine and pink pepper - combine to create the fragrant top notes. Muguet, lily, rose and violet - combine to create the floral heart notes. Cedarwood and musk - combine to create the soft ambery base notes'. All I can say is wow.
The clear fragrance reigns supreme in a mid aqua coloured plastic bottle with a spray nozzle, which is protected by an easy to use handy clear cap. I should point out that the product sometimes needs to be pumped a few times to get the nozzle to release the fragrance and mist varies in strength depending on how hard you push the nozzle. You get 100ml instead of the standard 75ml by other brands like Impulse, So...?, Charlie. Even better is that you can recycle this bottle and if the mood takes you can decant some of the product as the nozzle can be screwed back on. The label is sophisticated and has the usual info product name, description, quantity, suggestions, cautions, against animal testing commitment, ingredients list, type of plastic that can be recycled and use by info (This product should be used with 36 months), company website. Some of the info is repeated in range of languages, which is helpful for our non-English speaking but still stylish sisters.
As with lots of fragrances the staying power stems from how you use the products and the Body Shop suggest you layer by moisturising in the same fragrance lotion. I don't layer as the body mist is enough plus I favour unfragranced body moisturisers. The Aqua Lily range currently comprises soap, gift set, perfume oil, shower gel, and body lotion. Though I've used the EDT, which was good I just love the body mist that bit more but I won't decline any of the products if received on an future Eid, birthday or Christmas:D

Davidoff Cool Water for Women EDT Spray
This will be my signature scent even when I'm wise and silver haired (old and grey); it will cheer me up when I feel sad; it will help me to connect with my creative side; above all Aqua Lily will keep me feeling positive.
Thank you for reading and I hope you investigate further. Any comments on my review or my experience of the product would also be much appreciated:)
