nilo0901 Uniqlo: ... is a clothing chain that originally started in Japan in the 80 s but is now taking over our high streets with inexpensive fashion items. I have a friend, we ll call him Mr F, who is a terrible follower of fashion, particularly those of the high street variety and rather thrifty too. Formerly a great fan of Topman (not my kind of shop) he has recently become infatuated with Uniqlo and has turned me onto it. No...

Carole_M Bravissimo
... sell underwear, clothes, swimwear and nightwear for D - KK cup women. They have several stores, a catalogue and a website (www.bravissimo.com). I have been using Bravissimo for about 3 years now, so they have obviously managed to impress me enough to be a repeat customer! I can t remember what led me to them in the first place, but I do remember my Mum getting their catalogue years ago, long before the days of internet shopping. I place my orders via the internet, but am also sent catalogues at the start of every season, which I find really helpful as I end up looking at and considering things that I normally wouldn t. The bras available are from brands li...

masterchef98 Hennes and Mauritz Maternity Wear
... I became pregnant I went in H&M a few times to look at maternity wear as bizarrely it seems to be the only place in Sheffield city centre apart from Mothercare that sells any. You go through the main entrance and walk through the shop to get to the escalator and go up two flights to the maternity wear, passing all the colourful, fashionable clothes thinking this is going to be great, no frumpy Mothercare smocks for me. When you get to the correct floor the maternity section is quite difficult to find. This is because it is about two rails of black and navy blue t-shirts and trousers and doesn t stand out at all. As I said I went more than once thinking it mig...

85fudge Uniqlo
... first opened in Japan in 1984, originally called "Unique Clothing Warehouse". The name Uniqlo came as a contraction from "Unique Clothing". The first UK store opened in 2002 and this number has since grown to 14. There are over 700 stores in Japan. - Style I see Uniqlo somewhere in between Gap and Muji: they stock the bright colours of Gap but also have the Japanese aesthetic and simplicity of Muji. There s something for most people in Uniqlo: from funky printed t-shirts to more classic pieces too. I also detect a hint of American Apparel in there, but it s much cheaper (and I find the things fit better in Uniqlo!). I think Uniqlo is aimed at ...
