Good clothes, bad staff (American Apparel Store)

Advantages: Lots of choice

Disadvantages: Clothes are too small or too big - no middle ground! Staff are awful

A fabulous place if you want to buy your wardrobe basics (plain tees and hoodies are their speciality) and don't want to have the guilt of world poverty and child labour on your shoulders. All of American Apparel's clothes are made by American people in America, and judging by some of the heinous prices that they charge for these clothes, they're paying someone a decent wage (well, I hope they are, poor swines). The stores are nicely laid out, and most things are unisex, but this is quite irritating if you're just looking for a t shirt that will nicely fit a little woman like myself. I love their colours and their window displays are always cute. My only gripe with this place is the staff. All clearly hired on their attention to detail and their big interest... in themselves. Seriously. You have never seen the like. Usually quite unhelpful, dressed insanely and wearing ridiculous specs that they don't need.

Summary: Hipster shopping experience.
