Bravissimo Apparel Store

Newest Review: ... bra for less on other websites (brastop, ebay, lingerie heaven for example). Bravissimo have built up a customer base who trust them so no doubt can get away with charging that little bit more. Bravissimo have now started to make their own bras (they used to just sell branded underwear - although they did get some exclusive colours). I have recently got a bravissimo branded bra and it is sooo comfortable- it's definitely not inferior to the likes of freya and panache- more comfortable if anything. Bravissimo are affiliated to Pepperberry who make clothes to suit the curvier figure. This is quite a unique selling point as not many compan... more

Bravissimo: The origional big bra shop (221 words)

Bravissimo is the original big bra shop and the first place where I felt I could get good fitting bras for my quite big boobies! They have 21 high street shops in the U.K as well as an online store. I used to shop at bravissimo a lot but I now do a lot of my shopping online and I tend to find bravissimo's prices a bit high. You can usually find the same bra for less on other websites (brastop, ebay, lingerie heaven for example). Having been blessed with big boobs for many years now (or maybe more accurately lumbered with them) I was resigned to a life of wearing ill fitting, unsexy granny bras (I'm only 26 :( ). They didn't ever fit quite right, managed to be too small (bulges in all the wrong places) and too big (riding up your back) all at the same time! My only experience of a bra fitting was some 60 year old woman in marks and spencers coming at me with a tape measure and exclaiming, "my you have big breasts!" oh really? I was wondering what these things sticking out my chest were? I didn't go to many bra fittings after that, I generally just tried a few bras on and took the ones ..  Read the complete review

I have had problems with getting bras that fit for many many years as I have always been small in the shoulder and back but not at the front. My struggle to find a bra that fitted got worse when I had my son and my cup size increased but the band size remained the same and I was left scowering through the shops being looked at like a freak when I asked if they did a size 28F - No I don't have 3 heads! Marks and Spencers go down to a 30 but only in small sizes A-C and Debenhams well not much can be found in Debenhams below a 32 and the search got pretty tiring and I thought I would forever be wearing loose banded bras that fitted poorly until I entered my local ...  Read the complete review

About the Store: Bravissimo was founded in 1995 by a lady called Sarah Tremellen who found it difficult to find pretty bra's for the bigger bust. It now boast 21 high street stores and us women have never looked back. Why I love it: For me it quite literally a godsend being 23 I'm not ready to conform to matronly style bras straight from the 1950s and was pretty shocked at the lack of choice I had within other lingerie shops. As other women will definitely understand I fit into an awkward category being a 30F wherever I went either they didn't do my cup size or didn't go down to my back size so I ended up with ill fitting bras that were a waste of ...  Read the complete review

Big...Bravissimo makes it (or rather, them!) beautiful! (573 words)

Since I can recall, I have had huge breasts. E cup. I spent my time either saving for Agent Provocateur bras or wearing bras that even my Granny laughed at...until I got pregnant. Then my breasts got even bigger and made AP a no-(wo)man's land. It was Granny bras or nothing ~ and nothing wasn't an option. Well, I suppose it was but that might have been dangerous ;) So, I tried the regular stores who purported to measure me as smaller than I originally was and with a huge back, and ended up looking saggy and miserable. However, being no expert I just accepted that I was doomed to the realm of nasty underwear. Then, one lucky shopping trip to ...  Read the complete review
