Advantages: Great selection, lovely staff, most sizes covered and great quality

Disadvantages: Expensive

I have had problems with getting bras that fit for many many years as I have always been small in the shoulder and back but not at the front. My struggle to find a bra that fitted got worse when I had my son and my cup size increased but the band size remained the same and I was left scowering through the shops being looked at like a freak when I asked if they did a size 28F - No I don't have 3 heads! Marks and Spencers go down to a 30 but only in small sizes A-C and Debenhams well not much can be found in Debenhams below a 32 and the search got pretty tiring and I thought I would forever be wearing loose banded bras that fitted poorly until I entered my local Bravissimo. I had never heard of Bravissimo until a friend recommended them as she purchased work shirts from them as she's petite but possesses a huge wrack which leads to the ill fitting shirt with tight buttons look.

I entered the store and was greeted by a young lady in her 20s and was immediately offered a fitting for a nursing bra and although I said I knew what size I was they still recommended a fitting as your cup size can vary dramatically whilst nursing. They picked out a selection of funky coloured Panache nursing bras and yes I was a 28F and I ended up purchasing 2 nursing bras at just under £60. I have to admit that the service was fantastic there was no embarrassment or childishness and the bras were on trend and not for grannies which was what I was scared of.

I would recommed Bravissimo for those of us who are not in the norm size wise and although the cost of the bras might be greater when compared to M&S the quality is second to non as they stock major brands such as Panache, Freya, Royce etc I am looking forward to when I can wear underwired bras again as my choice in bras will be much greater and will definently be purchasing my bras from Bravissimo from now on. Bravissimo also run a website as well as the stores so if you're not close to one you can always try online and they have a decent returns policy which means that if you get the size wrong they will refund or exchange your purchase.

Hats off to Bravissimo
