Advantages: its cheap and on trend

Anytime I go into H&M I always come out having bought something! And I don't feel guilty about it either because it is so affordable.

The Swedish clothing company seems to be a firm favourite amongst the student body but they also do some very nice tailoring. Recently I had to find business wear for a mock trial competition and I got a lovely suit which was very well priced.

Their accessories are great value for money, and their little cosmetic sets make for excellent christmas presents when you are just not sure of what to get someone!

Sometimes their clothes can be a little over the top but if you are a sensible shopper with a good feel for fashion and putting outfits together you should be ok!

H&M sell womens clothes but they also have menswear and kids sections in most stores. However my local store (Dundee) only has womens, maternity and kids but a new shop is opening on the high street so they will probably have a mens section.

H&M has had their fair share of designer/celebrity ranges. The Madonna range came out last year and was quite successful but nowhere near as good as the Kylie Minogue swimwear range which was gorgeous. Got all my summer holiday bikinis in one shopping trip!

They do amazing "basics" i.e. different coloured long sleeve and short sleeve tshirts, little wrap overs for wearing out at night etc.
The only thing I have not been too keen on is probably their jeans. I just found them a strange fit but I know other girls who love them so maybe its just me!

Summary: go shopping in H&M and you will definitely find something you want to buy!
