Advantages: cheap
Disadvantages: bad fits
I used to be a regular visitor to this store and I decided to outline some good and bad points:
Good points:
* Shops are usually spacious and there is plenty of room to move around
* The clothes are usually fairly cheap, not dirt cheap but affordable
* There appears to be quite a regular turnover of new stock so each trip in, you should always see something new
* The window displays are often great, using some clever ideas about mixing and matching
* Staff on the whole are younger and approachable and know enough about the stock to advise and help
Bad points:
* Often things are hard to find and clothes tend to be randomly strewen out over stores, making it hard to pinpoint what you want
* Some items I have bought seem to tear or lose shape after a few washes
* Some of the colour choices are questionable. The last season favoured a lot of green which is a hard colour to pull off. There also seemed to be a lot of it dotted about all over the floor
* Some garments are not always a shapely fit. I have bought t-shirts and found they are more a square cut shape rather than tailored to suit the body's natural curves
Overall: Not bad for a budget shop, but I would not use it if I wanted long lasting clothes
Summary: not bad

- 05/02/09 I really like their organic cotton T-shirts - they fit really well (usually). |
