Advantages: Unique clothes!
Disadvantages: More expensive than other places
For those of you who haven't shopped in Pumpkin Patch it is basically a premium childrens clothing store. They also have an online store at pumpkinpatch.co.uk
I buy clothes online and in store in my local shop which is in Cardiff.
Pumpkin Patch stock;
Baby clothes which range from newborn to 18 months,
Little boy and Little girl ranges from 6 months to 5 years,
Boy and girl ranges from 5 years to 11 years
and maternity clothes.
The baby clothes like most shops start off with new baby then 0-3 and 3-6, where they then differ is that from 6 months the clothes go up in increments of 6 months.
I am normally used to buying 6-9 for my daughter. However in Pumpkin Patch the clothes come up a little larger than other stores. The jeans, skirts and trousers have adjustable waistbands and a lot of the jeans and trousers can be rolled up or down to suit your baby.
The choice and quality of the clothing is really good. What I like about shopping here is that a lot of the clothes are designed in ranges where you can get the whole outfit to match.
Price wise I think the clothes are very reasonable a pair of jeans is around £18-£20, t shirts cost £10-£16 depending on the detail, a lot of the tops have really nice embroidery and detailing and jumpers and cardis are around the £20 mark.
The clothes wash really well, compared to the likes of Asda and Matalan the clothes keep their shape better and also I find the sizing is better. The dresses are really pretty and feminine and they also have matching tights and headbands for a lot of the clothing that they sell.
I love Pumpkin Patch and would give their clothes 5 out of 5.
Summary: A great selection for my little princess!
