Disadvantages: poor after sales service, poor customer service

My partner went to the Stockport branch on Friday the 16.5.03 to purchase some extra-large T Shirts for me to use on my forthcoming holiday. When I tried them on, they proved to be too small.
It was sunday the 18.5.03 before we could get back to the store to change them.
The staff were very courtious and asked me to find replacements. I had a good look around but could not find anything suitable as replacements. We then asked for a refund. We were totally amazed to be told that we could not be given a refund, but we could have a voucher to spend at a later date. We were not happy with this decision but after a long heated discussion with the staff, it was obvious they were not going to give a refund. It appeared that I had no option but to accept the voucher.
I find this totally unacceptable customer service especially in todays markets where most stores would most definitely give a refund.
I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN.
