Available as a free download, it s can be used by both Mac and PC users and comes free with all new Apple computers. These days, version 8.01 (current at time of writing) is a very versatile product. Not only is it a music player, but also a hub for downloading movies both to buy and rent. On loading up iTunes for the first time, you are presented with your Music Library . 	BBC iPlayer ... iPlayer, what a nifty little thing it is. It was created by the BBC to extend its existing RealPlayer-based "Radio Player" and went live on December 25, 2007. BBC iPlayer alows you to watch programmes you have missed or simply just want to watch again on any of the BBC channels (this includes the childrens channels such as CBBC too). It also gives you the option of downloading the programme which means you would be able to kee it for a month on your computer; if not it stays on thr iPlayer for 7 days. 	Audacity ... your are a wanna be DJ but can t be bothered with the hassle of the cost (especially if you have children) then this is the program for you. It s completely free and has a range of features, which are tricky at first but soon after you will pick it up. Even if you are not a DJ fan it has the capability to record, used at its potential can be a great asset.
