When I first purchased a cd-writer last christmas, I needed a software program which would cope with all my copying needs, thus came adaptec easy cd creator version 4. I got it with my cd-writer so i decided to install it as it had the writer drivers on. Little did I know that I would find the easiest and best cd creating and copying tool around. Well hats off the guys and gals at Adaptec for this one, as it really is a great piece of software. Where it wins hands down is when you just want to create a disk, with no hassle or agro. You simply place a blank cdr or cdrw in your cdrw drive, and the software pops up with a window, asking what you want to do. You have the option of doing a CD to CD copy from one cdrom drive to your CDRW, or to create a Data disk or audio disk. The CD to CD copy is simple, just put the disks into the right drives, select the reader and writer and click copy and away it goes ! To create a data cd you just need to select the items you want on your disk, and ...  Read the complete review

It is what the title says. There are 2 editions of it, the standard and deluxe. The standard (V4) comes with msost CD r/rw drives and is easy to use. There are limitations to what you can copy though due to copyright purposes. I have the delixe and standard versions and can honestly say the features are not worth paying extra for in the duluxe version. Just stick with standard for now or even different software. Buy it now! ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4.0: Deluxe Version's Bells & Whistles (956 words)

The DELUXE issue of version 4.0 Easy CD Creator comes with all the kind software that you would expect to be “bundled” with any self-respecting CD-RW machine. For example:- CD-AUDIO (and CD-ROM) Audio recordings can be assembled from a selection of .wav. AND .mp3 files. How you get them onto your c:/drive is another matter. Anyone familiar with Windows Explorer will be at home with its `Source File` and `Assembly Area` screens. (This is mirrored by a data CD copying facility using the same drag`n`drop methods for creating selective CD-ROMs) Just identify where the originals are and drag`n`drop them to the assembly area in ...  Read the complete review
