Advantages: Comprehensive, good structure

Disadvantages: can be complicated at times

Having used PageMill 2.0 & later 3.0 for quite some time, and getting my two sites (fantasyf1.org.uk & motorlinks.co.uk) to a decent size and number of visitors, GoLive 4.0 was recommended to me as a complete site management package.

I deliberately spent a few weeks getting familiarised with it, and as I am used to the Adobe way of doing things, that was plenty of time. The main addvantages are that you can layout a new site as a tree structure, then add the html later. Adding java or any other extra technology is also made simple, and it is just making the time to learn the package thoroughly, and beleive me it will pay off.

**UPDATE**

I am still using GoLive, as my design/site management package of choice, and I have even been able to do ASP coding with it too!! The flexabilty is amazing, and as my sites have grown - one is over 70 pages - GoLive makes it all so simple to keep up with what I am doing with them all.

If you are looking to design and manage a site of any worth or size - go with GoLive, if you want to do a one or two page homepage, or basic site - stick with your Frontpage.

How does it handle the ASP coding? I've tried dreamweaver on some of my ASP pages and it was no use at all. I just stick to visual interdev now.

I use frontpage but I wouldn't say my site is basic.
