* Initial Note * I love Adobe Photoshop. It is absoloutley brilliant. I LOVE IT I LOVE IT. I have been using this program for a long while now, and have not only expressed my inner personality through it, but have used it to express an heir of style on a numerous amount of websites (http://ants-web.8k.com - my personal website from when I was 14 ( has 5 years passed already!!) and http://www.sbhlexport.co.uk - a company i worked for) I wouldnt advise visiting my company website, but if you would like to find out more about me, feel free to visit my website and leave a comment (caution that I look about 12 on the photo) The software includes a ... I first used photoshop 5 so i cannot claim to have seen the rise and rise of it all but being a web designer it is a great program to use. The cutting edge technologies with the familiar tools make it easy to make great graphics. A visual quickstart guide sorted me out in getting to know it. I'm not claiming to be a guru with it either. The methods used make it easy to make the graphics in your mind. And with this version, put it on the web. The included Image ready software compresses the images quite a bit - not as much a fireworks. You have the option to look at the image 4 up - i.e. see the original and 3 other versions all with different compression settings to ... Read the complete review

Adobe Systems has long since asserted itself as the market leader in top-of-the-range graphics software. For some years, its Photoshop franchise has been dumping on all but the very best of its opposition from high, parading as it does the winsome mix of both a considerable amount of pioneering (and exclusive) technical wizardry, as well as an abundant sense of intelligence of design. Finding attention to minor details is an extremely satisfying sensation, and the boffs at Adobe hit the right note with its audience, with an obsessive quantity of "little touches" all adding to the bigger picture. As such, the end result is an extremely flexible graphical ... Read the complete review

As a recently graduated graphics student I can not shout the necessity to attain this software loud enough. If you are part of the graphics community or want to create advanced special effects with photos for personal projects or webdesign this is the software for you. What does it do? Well basically it enables you to scan in any image and manipulate to your hearts desire. I use it to touch up old and damaged photos - If you know what you are doing you can make an old brown torn photos from the early 1900's look like it was produced today. It enables you to touch up, entirely alter, merge, overlay, etc photos and so much more. All the professionals use it as ... Read the complete review

The Industry standard image manipulation package steps up a gear with release 5.5 and the inclusion of Adobe's ImageReady - a tool dedicated to the creation of graphics which are web-ready. With every release Photoshop goes from strength to strength and with functions like the history list, user-definable actions and the ability add third-party plug-ins there's nothing that touch it. The range of tools available is truly superb and it's well within the capabilities to be producing appreciable results within a matter of hours of picking it up. However, to get the best out of Photoshop required patience and it's then, and only then, ... Read the complete review
