AOL Instant Messenger

AOL Instant Messenger is one of the better instant messengers out there today. The actual AOL software comes with its own built in messaging facilities if you are a user of that particular service provider but this stand alone product is far superior to that and you needn't be an AOL member to use it. All you have to do its download a small software program available from the usual download sites, follow the brief installation instructions and away you go. When I come on the internet I do one of two things. I either play Red Alert 2 or Download things. I find Aol Instant Messanger the best messaging service for both of these things for several reasons. Before I go into them let me point out one thing. AIM is not the same as the messanger Built into the AOl 6.0 software. AOL Instant Messenger is one of the best Instant Messenger programs. I also have Yahoo Instant Messenger and MSN Instant Messenger but find AOL very easy to use. I like chatting to people internationally as well as people from the UK. About 90% of the people I chat to are from America and this can be annoying! I have just heard that you can now download an English version of AOL Instant Messenger, where you only talk to people from the UK! Instant Messenger, now what can I say about it, I have a friend who lives in England and as I live in Belfast, I find it hard to communicate with her, but now there is Actually Instant Messages being sent between us. The best thing about AIM Instant Messenger is the warning system, which I find so useful and handy, especially when you annoy me! AOL Instant Messenger has been around for a while now. AIM is a well known communication tool used by millions around the world. I mself use it to keep in touch with friends in America and I find it very useful and able. It is also free which is another bonus to this quality piece of software. I would recommend this to anyone who uses chat and instant messaging alot. The ability to have live conversations or just text typing is a must for all. It's simple and easy to use.
