Sorry, I prefer ICQ! (AOL Instant Messenger)
Member Name: indierocks
Advantages: Its free Disadvantages: Very little features
Although AIM is a good instant messaging service, its functions are limited. I've had it for about a year now and I must say that most of my friends are users of ICQ. It had far less features than ICQ and its a lot more difficult to find friends. Another disadvantage is that you have to actually save your chats to text files instead of the program logging conversations and event history as they happen. I downloaded this messaging service so I could stay in contact with relatives that I have in America, after closing my account with AOL as an ISP. If it wasn't for this reason only, I wouldn't have AIM at all. It is not as advanced as others in the world of messaging service programs, and until it is, I would much prefer to use ICQ. Summary: |
