AVG Antivirus Free Edition is one of the best antivirus softwares available in the market. The new version of AVG i.e, AVG Antivirus 8 provides an All-in-One Solution for securing your computer. It features a Resident Shield, Web Links Protection and many other features which is embedded in a Clean and Clear Interface which is quite easy to use. The feature of AVG that I like the most is that it scans the Website links and warns the user if the links leads to an insecure website. Grisoft provides timely updates to the software very frequently so that the users are protected every time. AVG is faster than any other antivirus software and it consumes only a little amount of resource and does not slows down the computer providing a smooth experience. I have been using this software for a while and I am very much satisfied with its performance. While Norton slows down the computer, this softwares doesn't.
