The BBC iplayer is accessible from the BBC homepage and is a good way of catching up on programmes you have missed during the week and also provides a free way of viewing programmes shown on the digital channels e.g. BBC3, BBC4 etc without having to pay for a digital subscription. Also if you don't have a TV licence, it is a way of viewing BBC programmes for free Obviously you cannot watch every single programme shown on the BBC on the iplayer, but the more popular programmes are there to be viewed e.g. Eastenders, The Apprentice, Dragon's Den and The Restaurant. Another advantage of the iplayer is the quality of the picture and sound that is ... Read the complete review

BBC iplayer is a service where every bbc program is on demand for anyone with an internet connection to watch. As a student, this is brilliant as it does not require a TV licence to watch everything apart from the live chanel streamings. There is also the option to download the programs, which is a useful feature for anyone who wants to watch them on a portable device. The iplayer is also available on virgin and sky services, and will soon be coming to free view one it gains a broadband capability. iplayer has become a lot more reliable and easy to navigate since its beginnings, and also has all the radio stations available, as well as the track ... This is one of my most visited web sites. I rarely watch tv as im a student and always busy. However when i find i have an hour or 2 to spare there is never anythng on tv. Iplayer is the perfect solution. I can watch what i want when i want. The web site is very quick and always has the top choice of programmes to watch. It is updated constantly, allowing people to access programmes that have only just finished (most programmes are uploaded onto the site within a couple hourse of them finishing on the television). BBC iplayer was the first, however other channels have adopted the same form of sites. Channel 4 has now got 4od online as does itv. The very best thing ... Read the complete review

I love the way some technology has emerged and really has enhanced your life. It definitely has changed the way you can and do watch your programmes. BBC iPlayer allows you to catch up on shows you missed in the last 7 days. I must admit BBC does have alot of competition with ITV and Channel 4. The competitors do allow for you to watch shows that were broadcasted alot longer than 7 days ago, which makes them slightly better. You can use BBC iPlayer on your laptop, computer, games console via wifi e.g. wii, phone, which makes it very much accessible from anywhere. The flexibility of where and when is definitely the best thing about the ... Read the complete review

BBC Iplayer, a internet tv. Its where you can watch all the channels and films and shows and what evers you have missed from the last 7 days. Its a great help to people like me where I usually miss my favourite TV shows as I am busy somewhere maybe on the internet or out! When I come back from what ever I'm doing I can just go onto the BBC website and click Iplayer, its that simple! And from the site it self you can watch from thousands of your special tv shows which you have missed, including the radio! Besides all of that its shockingly free of charge, totally no fee what so ever you will need to pay. I have to say BBC have put so much effort in for making such a web ... Read the complete review
