BBC iPlayer is the latest on demand service from the BBC. It allows you to watch the majority of programmes that have been shown in the previous week. The programmes load fast and quite often you have the choice of downloading or streaming them. Also i love this website because it is used so much by people that it means that more people are streaming more amounts from their internet provider. This comes as a great annoyance to internet companies which i love due to the fact they charge extortionate prices for a cheap service. They deserve a taste of their own medicine. The bbc iplayer is a new free on demand service from the bbc.The service was released after similar services were released by the itv and channel 4.It allows views to watch any programme shown on the bbc 1,2,3 and 4 to be viewed online for up to 30 days after it was aired.The Iplayer also allows viewers to download progammes to their computer and keep for longer then the 30 day limit. There have been problems for some viewers with the download feature and I have never been able to get it working. There is a programe that needs to be download for the feature to work. A night out with the girls or a hot date with some lucky guy used to result in missing things like Eastenders and Casualty but no longer thanks to the BBC Iplayer. Iplayer is an ingenious tool which you can find by typing Iplayer into any search engine, once on the Iplayer page you will be able to watch the shows you have missed online or better still be given the opportunity to download them to watch later at your leisure. A downloaded programme plays much better than watching them online, you do need to download some software to be able to use this but it is very basic and takes up virtually no room on your pc.
