Advantages: No download neeed. Quick streaming. Many programmes uploaded.

Disadvantages: Quality could be better.

BBC iPlayer is the latest on demand service from the BBC. It allows you to watch the majority of programmes that have been shown in the previous week. The programmes load fast and quite often you have the choice of downloading or streaming them. Also i love this website because it is used so much by people that it means that more people are streaming more amounts from their internet provider. This comes as a great annoyance to internet companies which i love due to the fact they charge extortionate prices for a cheap service. They deserve a taste of their own medicine. The choice of programmes is great and the quality is good. Not great but good enough to watch a programme on. It's simple to use and similar to the on demand service offered by Virgin Media. If you miss something this is the perfect programme to catch up on it with. And a benefit is you don't have to download any applications, so available to watch in many locations.
