The BBC iPlayer is a very nice and highly useful feature from the BBC that allows you to watch programs back up to 7 days after they have been played on TV.

With the iPlayer you are able to watch the programs up to 7 days after they have been played and there are rumours that it may be increasing for certain programs.

The iPlayer is a very fast service. On my normal broadband connection (a bit slow) I can watch programs without ever having to stop to wait for them to load, making it just like watching on TV.

The quality is very good. Of course it isn't TV standard, but you are able to watch back programs without having to glare at the screen, the experience is still enjoyable.

The only downsides are that you need to be in internet explorer to use it, and you can't save programs to your computer so you can watch them forever.
