I am a TV addict. I have no shame in admitting it either! Though sometimes I do not always have the time to watch everything I would like to. That is why I find myself clicking onto BBC iPlayer a lot too!

When you first go onto the website you will see its main colour is a grey black. At the top it has the BBC logo so you know you are in the right place, and 'iPlayer' is written underneath in a pretty pink shade. There is a search bar so you can type in your preffered show. You are then given all the available options from the past seven days.

If you do not wish to search you can use one of the tabs. They are: TV Channels, Radio Stations, Categories and A-Z. TV Channels brings up a list of all the BBC channels ie CBBC, BBC3 etc. Needless to say, Radio Stations gives you the options of BBC Radio 1 etc. And Categories allows you to select your preferred categories. This includes such like Childrens, Comedy and Documentary. A to Z, well that gives you a n A to Z of all the programmes. This is a good option if you just fancy having a random browse! There is also a Home tab in case you want to start your search over.

Once youhave found your programme it will come up enlarged on the screen. In the centre there is aplay button. Clicking this it wills tart. Along the bottom of the screen you can see how long it has run for and howlong is left, as well as a play - pause button. If you happen to navigate away from the show, and come back at a later time, the original play button will have turned into a resume button so you do not need to start over from the beginning! I always find this helpful if my internet decideds to randomly cut out as it always does!

The show I tend to watch on here is EastEnders, though I have discovered some other amazing shows such as Grownups and Live at the Apollo. The only TV in my house is in the living room, and since i never go in there, iPlayer allows me to keep up to date with everything. The only improvement would be to make it live, as shows are not on until the programme has actually finished!
